why are your comments turned off?
Because it's Youtube. People only comment if they hate it. Some people comment hate just because they're bored. Youtube comments are nasty. You don't start getting genuine positive feedback until you're at like, 1,000 subs. I'm just starting out, so the only comments I would get would be people being dicks. In fact, I left the comments open on one of my videos once, and that was literally the first and only comment I got on it: someone being a dick. It's just not worth it until I actually have a fanbase to interact positively with. Otherwise, the only people commenting on my videos are going to be people who don't like them. I seriously doubt that I have enough fans to have people dying to post positive comments on my videos. When I start actually getting an audience that wants to interact with me, then I might open up the comments for that. For now, I figure if something is that damn important, people can just send me an ask on this blog-- like you did.
