~RGB vs CYMK coloring~
So I really wanted to draw a backround for our research poster assignment, which is basically an analysis of our final project through a combination of academic text and images. The poster was to be printed and I made the exact same mistake I did back in Spring when I was trying to self-print and publish Requiem In Deep Blue: I completely forgot that neon and bright colors can almost never translate on paper. I realized this was also the case here when I placed my RGB backround in Indesign to create the poster and the colors automatically turned CYMK, ruining the entire image. The only thing left to do was to play around with saturation and draw on the original piece, this time with CYMK colors, trying to make the colors as close as possible to the original. The main problem was the neon light from the jellyfish, which is obviously lost, but all in all I am satisfied with both versions 💫
