I spent a couple days putting together this Sons of Horus centurion. The bare head I had made a bit earlier for general Space Marine use, and after some adjustments it came out looking sufficiently villainous I think. Still using the same crude hard-surface techniques that I used when doing stuff for Source engine, but I was too lazy to high-poly bake this thing and hey, as long as it works and so on.

Everything was modeled and textured by me, except the skulls - those were done by a friend some years back.

Hello Everyone!

I am working on Custodes body now, but in the meantime a bit update on the jetbike cast light. I didn’t like some parts of it, so re-worked it.

I have increased the glow size, and made it less sharp in the middle. Also added more colors to it, and increased sunrays.

Warhammer 40000 - Theater of War - Boreale Crusade

Boreale Star System—-Segmentum Pacificus—- Totanus 799.M41 From a year the Imperial forces have tracked the movement of the Chaos Forces into Totanus. The Chaotics hold the orbit, but not the rest of the ground. In fact, from the beginning of the insurrection the Lionhorns have still fought their own and lone war against the Blazing Sun Chaos Cult. For two century they have retired their few forces into the undersea cities to grow in number. Under the oceans the space marines have been in able to assemble a fleet composed of small voidships, escort ships and frigates like the Gladius-class. With the awaited Imperial reinforcement (a delay of two century) the Space Marines have launched their hidden forces to retake the Totanus’ skyes and ground. The Oceanic World is becaming a spaceships graveyard, the fights are in the low orbit and at the level of the sea, where the Adeptus Astates surface to cotrast the enemy landing ships. While the Asteroids-defensive belt hold the Imperial attacks from the outer space, the Chaos Forces push back the space marines and the imperial fleet. Overmore new armies are arriving from Ctesiphont and Miyir, where the now-corrupted Magi have voted themself to the Dark Mechanicum. The arriving messages from the deep of the oceans proclaim the domain of the new founded Totanus Marines, and at the moment the lords of the seas demonstrates a bit coldness regard the new and delayed Imperial reinforcements

In case you have missed this awesome series, this is a Fan made 3d animated short movie of the Astartes.  Warhammer 40k.  Personally I think Games Workshop should just throw money at this dude to make a feature film.  (Most of this is one person’s work.)  It is widely consider one of the most realistic and well thought out depictions of both the sheer speed, force and determination of will of the Astartes.  I am posting all five videos which should be in order 1 at the top and 5 at the bottom.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! 

 P.S. Its pretty much all violence and blood, so beware.

“In the grim darkness of the far future there is only war”!

Hello Everyone! :) Lately i have been working on my biggest diorama so far - clash Between Khorne and Red Scorpions, and i have managed to give it final shape, and place the minis.

Ground work requires more attention of course, but i have made it’s shape, and im rather happy with the end result.

Now it’s time to work on the details - like i have mentioned - ground, and on the models - lots of them require some minor gap filling, Demon Prince some arm sculpting, and of course - banners for both sides :)

Tomorrow i’m returning to the Blood Ravens Librarian dreadnought.

P.S. this piece will be for sale, i know that’s it’s a bit early, but just letting You know :)
