They figured out we could use the little stage at our storage building to lay out drops on, so now those are back on the table.
Wintery little backdrop (if you consider 18’x16’ish little) for the One Act Play That Goes Wrong.
(Notes: Yeah, I know I’m sizing it wrong. Yes, I sprayed the back to get the creases out.)
Still alive, still FA-FOing the occasional backdrop
Me, Doing College Theatre: “Why do we keep doing all these Weird as Shit™ shows? Wouldn’t we get more butts in seats if we did musicals?”
Me, now, doing Butts-in-Seats-Musicals: “Hokay, please direct me towards the Weird Shit. I would like one Weird Shit Play, please.”

Guess what I got to do!!!!
It’s my favorite new game:
MOSS EFFECT

Using a snapline saves time when you’ve got a cityscape to paint, yes, but OH GOD, the feeling of the powdered chalk covered string against my fingers is spiraling me straight into HELL
(IT’S WEDNESDAY, MY DUDES)
Sometimes the stars align and I get to use my cutesy animal painting skills for actual theatre work.
Family portrait for A Year With Frog and Toad. Posca marker on a log cookie.

(A Year With Frog and Toad)
Really proud of this ride-on log for A Year With Frog and Toad
Concrete-forming tube with a bench hidden inside for structure. Kraft paper outside for bark texture.
Highly appropriately bringing this blog back from the dead by showing you this casket we made for Ragtime.
Lauan and pink foam and stair railing, baybeeeeeeeee!
I am gonna finish this goddamn set if it’s the second to last thing I do!
Hey guess what.
I’m NOT DEAD YET!!!!
Oof, I am behind in posting. Been doing a good bit of design work the last couple months and we’re almost back in full swing now.
I’ve been wanting to do a blendy 80’s font sign FOREVER and finally had my chance!
