INTRO. this is an extremely private, plot-oriented writing blog for an original character belonging to his own world-building and lore. please be courteous and try not to use his portrayal as inspiration for your own portrayals. i have written this character since 2019, and i have invested an extensive amount of time into developing his world / lore. with that being said, strong inspiration is drawn from various forms of eldritch + lovecraftian horror throughout popular media, including death stranding, as well as lyrical ideas from artists like lord huron and hozier.
HORROR THEMES. this character is an eldritch horror based muse, which means there are some heavy themes present in his portrayal. i usually stray away from reblogging horrific images, and lean harder into producing some poetically / artistically horrorific themed content. if anything bothers you, i have zero issue with tagging things accordingly for you.
that being said, if you follow this blog, i am going to assume you're okay with the themes present in this characterization. as a side note, i lean very heavily into biblically apocalyptic themes, which deserves a separate mention from any other horror themes. if this bothers you, i will tag accordingly.
FOLLOWING. do not follow this blog if you're looking for another number to your list. i understand personal life issues, as i manage a salaried position + deal with health complications, but i am genuinely interested in plotting with those who mutually follow. my lack of response ≠ lack of interest. this includes and is not limited discord messages. understand that i will always put my personal life before my writing partners, and no one will ever outweigh that. if you have a problem with me prioritizing my personal life, or leaning on close friends, please see yourself out.
if you show general preference for my male muses and have made no effort to interact with my female muses, i have no interest in doing anything with you. it's pretty obvious when this blog has countless interaction opportunities, and my female muses on other blogs go stagnant.
GENERAL GUIDELINES. do not be an asshole. this is a simple request. this means: do not write problematic content, do not use problematic faceclaims, do not write genderbends, etc. it is worth mentioning, do not follow me if you support / write with characters like billy hargrove. much like other people, i genuinely enjoy writing villains. however, there are villains that do not need screen time on this website.
general roleplay etiquette is expected. do not control my muse, do not assume to know more about my muse than what is available, do not include my muse / portrayal in other threads with other people.
roleplay social expectations include: do not pressure me for thread responses, do not vague blog me on the dashboard, do not force ship. understand that i have a personal life that usually tend to put before roleplay / tumblr.
DRAMA. do not involve me in petty drama unless i go asking for information. you can, however, inform me of problematic people i may be interacting with. while i am not interested in general callout culture, i am not interested in writing / befriending people who have bothered / harassed / etc. those i call my friends.
ACTIVITY. as stated beforehand, i manage a salaried position + deal with health complications. i am a cancer survivor and this is very recent. i still am dealing with the aftermath and long lasting complications. please understand that i can and will disappear off the face of the earth, and it does not reflect my opinion of you or our writing / plotting.
please do not take it personal. i am older than most in this community, and i have a healthy boundary set with my playtime here. understand that i do enjoy writing and the friendships i've made here, but tumblr will never be my main priority. and as mean as it sounds, you will never be my main priority.
