Kiss from a Rose
is this not what happened
So the last time I rewatched Picard, I decided to really commit to memory which of La Sirena’s holograms were which, and have made a quick little guide to help other people who struggle to remember who is who.
Emil - Emergency Medical Hologram. British accent. Hair neatly combed and beard neatly trimmed. Wears a white collared shirt and a black coat open on top of it.
Enoch - Emergency Navigational Hologram. Irish accent. Looks almost exactly like Emil but you can tell them apart by their outfits. Enoch wears a light blue collared shirt with a black cardigan zipped shut on top of it.
Emmet - Emergency Tactical Hologram. Spanish accent (and actually speaks in Spanish half the time). Long messy hair. Tattoos.
Ian - Emergency Engineering Hologram. Scottish accent (of course). Hair a bit messier than the others, wears a gray turtleneck and a black beanie.
Mr. Hospitality - Emergency Hospitality Hologram. Accent… not really sure? Most people think it’s Northern American or possibly Canadian, but it’s difficult to place. Hair hair is slicked back and his beard has noticeably less gray in it. He wears all black with a turtleneck, and is usually carrying a data padd.
It's warp time💫
Maybe you're just sad that there's not a brave truth-speaking romulan raised by warrior nuns who's sworn his blade to your hopeless cause :/
Thank you to @yehrin for commissioning this piece! It was a pleasure to draw :)
Based on the scene in S4 Ep26, “Hope and Fear” where Seven and Janeway are trapped by their tourist-turned-executioner, and that beautiful heart-to-heart between these two was crying out for something more.

Seven of Nine | Voyager 4.03 Day of Honor
“In case I never get a chance to say this, I realise that I’ve been hard on you at times … but it was never out of anger or regret that I brought you on board.”
Okay, I also love Seven. A lot!
Seven of Nine
Holy SHIT the ability to connect with a character after 20 YEARS like this is INSANE
I watched an interview with Jeri Ryan where she talked about how difficult it was finding Seven’s voice in the Picard script. She said she “started to panic” but then she called Jonathan del Arco and he said the “What if she talks differently because she had to?”.
And that’s so powerful to me. Because Jeri can obviously find Seven in her movements and in the way she speaks but she also considers how Seven faced a society that wasn’t accepting of her, where people might even have feared her. So Seven had to change parts of herself to conform. Jeri gives us something that is both so clearly Seven and is also changed in ways that is grounded in an understanding of what her character must have lived through for 20 years and how that affected her.
