That is the story of most people's lives. They picture the money, say the prayer, then lie back down on the sofa. No call, no application, no offer, nothing the result can travel through. It's the same reason God feeds the birds but doesn't place the worms inside their mouths. The food is there. The ground is full of it. But every morning the bird still has to leave the nest, search the field, and pull the worm out itself.

Being a good person will not make you prosperous. It was never designed to. That is uncomfortable to hear, but it is easy to prove. Electricity does not ask whether a man is honest before it lights his house. Gravity does not only pull corrupt people. It pulls on everybody exactly the same. Rain does not search for the kindest farmer. It falls across every field. The farmer who dug the channels gets the water. The farmer who did not dig the channels can be the finest man in the county. His crops will still go dry. Money works much closer to that than most people want to admit. Money does not know who deserves it. It moves through value, ownership, timing, negotiation and the courage to ask. That is why dishonest people can become rich while wonderful people remain poor. But this does not mean you should become cruel. It means goodness and prosperity are two different questions. Be good, because that is how you choose to live. But if you want wealth, learn what actually moves wealth. The rain does not reward the nicest farmer. It follows the channel.
