A small green kitten stared up, mewling softly. He was more perceptive to things when he was an animal. And besides, what kind of person could resist a cute kitten? Even if it was green.

Bart looked down at his feet to see a tiny green kitten. Smiling he knelled down and held out his hand to the kitten waiting to see if the little green feline would sniff it. It was green…but Bart was sure it wasn’t radioactive or anything.

He mewled again and stepped forward to sniff Bart’s hand, part of him wary about where that hand might have been. He wondered how Bart didn’t recognize him just from the color of his fur.

Bart pet the little kitten on the head as he got a closer look. Sure did look familiar. And that was when it hit Bart. He chuckled as he scratched the cat behind the ear, “Gar! How many green cats do I know, geez…What are you doing here?”

“Took you long enough,” he said, tilting his head into Bart’s hand. “For someone so fast, you’re kinda slow,” he teased. He shifted back to human and sat cross-legged on the floor.
