So if we read Codebase's dialog it says it's breaking down, which makes sense if we literally take a look at the state of the lobby.

Pipes are burst, the shop is in shambles A LOT MORE THAN NORMAL

The elevator is sparking now, along with the entrance to storage being a complete wreck. And I didn't even list everything thats changed/broken.
