Writers portray Ambessa as violent because she comes off as violent in the whole show. That is how she is written and shown. She is a warmonger and colonizer that kills children, that is the definition of cruel and violent . Would you you say the same for ICE workers in USA or military personnel from anywhere in the world? That they were just groomed or live in such circumstances that pushed them to be military and aren’t violent? It’s just their job that requires violence and cruelty, they’re soft with their families…Let us also not forget Ambessa is violent even towards people that are on her side - threatened Jayce, chokes Salo who can’t even walk who brought up Mel and Caitlyn are nepo babies, kills around multiple Piltover scientists to get Hextech to work, manipulated and used Caitlyn, was going to publicly execute Caitlyn, was publicly going to kill or cripple or seriously injure her own daughter in a fight . Not violent at alllllll. I agree about the dick part , that is weird and I have seen writers write Jayce and other characters with a pussy , that is extremely weird when none of them are trans in the show, a woman being more muscular does not equal being male ….
I did say that Ambessa was warmongerer colonialist super power, but i was offering insight past that. I'm not defending her actions, i never said i was, but let's not pretend that season 2 Ambessa wasn't used to paint caitlyn in much more favorable light until her redemption. She IS a violent person, but i clarified that she isn't unnecessarily cruel just for the sake of it. Let's not forget why she even came to piltover : her son was murder by black rose, later she was forced to retreat to piltover to her (assuming) last ally and chance to win the war against black rose , that's is why she tried to intimidate Jayce into weaponising hextech, when both him and Viktor dissapear, she becomes more frantic to try and get the upper hand for what she belives would be practically end for her family. She chokes out Salo because she's protective, but lowkey its a bad writing on season 2 because why would she choke out valuable ally, considering she was just about to ask him for a favor, but i dunno. I wrote that rant because i found it frustrating that she was begin reduced to this hyper masculinized aggressive stereotype, which i found frustrating because she's truly compelling character.
