Today I went to Abakan and got lining for Jess, I then helped sort out everyone’s outfits and got the shoes and accessories together for peoples collections. I also hand sewed poppers onto Jess’s trousers and helped another third year with her hats

Today I helped sort out the rails for the show tomorrow

Today i helped Jess prepare for her crit by cutting linings and steaming garments. I dressed models and I then took notes for her in her crit.

Today I cut out and sewed up a trouser toile for Jess. I then hand stitched the lining of one of her final pieces, and then finally I researched into footwear for the models as she changed decision of colours.

Today I helped Jess with her Crit with bashir by dressing the models. I also researched into accessories and footwear for her collection.

Today I went to Abakan and picked up supplies for my third year. I had to find Interfacings, zips, and lining fabrics.

Today I traced out the linings and facings for jess’ Jacket and trousers using her materials. I then interfaced them all ready for her to use on her garments.

Today i created facings and lining jess’ jacket and trousers using the pattern paper. I then cut out the pieces to sew her a polo top.

Today i created a shirt with a gathered sleeve (toile). I firstly cut out the pattern pieces onto calico fabric. Using the sewing machine i then sewed the bodice together, front and back. I then gathered the sleeves and attached them to the shirt. Finally, i retraced a toile piece and transferred it on to pattern paper for Jess to make adjustments for her dress piece.

Today i met Jess and helped her with her pattern cutting. I cut out a shirt pattern and slashed out the front pieces to allow the garment to be voluminous. I then cut out back pieces of her garment. Finally, i extended the length of her coat piece to 136cm so it would flow close to the floor.
