you've always fantasized about your usually dom bf being sub for you. as you told him about your idea, he was firstly not so happy about that, but turnes out, he kinda liked it more than he'd admit (even tho he sometimes still tried to get the control back).
and that probably won't be the last time he will be a needy sub and all whimpering cause of you....
summary: forced into an arranged marriage, you thought your soon to be husband was sharing the same sentiment. little did you know, he has waited for the moment when he gets to take you.
The night was warm, the people around you mingled and drank to their heart's desire, you were caught up in the midst of it all as bride, sitting by the table, the feast in front of you, the lingering scent of meat and spices reaching your nose. You've never had the big appetite, but even the most picky of eaters could find something for themselves in the abundance of food that was prepared, you enjoyed the sweet aroma of a ripe fig, its sugary taste a heaven on your tongue.
With an idle mind you resorted to watching the guests, slowly becoming aware of the mirth in their eyes now that the night was nearing its end, the consummation of your marriage awaited. You knew that well yet you chose to place trust in your now husband, for sure he would find a way to stain the sheets crimson other than with your blood. You were lucky to be married to a man your age, because an older one wouldn't show such restraint, you thought and what violence should such an innocent looking creature even possess? Jungwon's presence showed nothing but gentleness, his eyes deep wells of kindness, sparkling with youthfulness and sympathy.
Only if you knew of the monstrous desire lurking beneath his saintlike demeanour. Even though you thought this union was a coincidence, it was actually perfectly orchestrated by him, he imagined it the moment he has seen you at church the first time he saw you, a divine vision meant for him only. From that day onward, he battled with impatience, with hunger for just a little taste, but the societal norms granted him no mercy. He was barely constraining himself during the whole ceremony, the brief meeting of your lips left him trembling with passion, it evident on the sweat collecting at his brow, but it was summer so none suspected it.
He was an image of propriety but inside of him a war raged on, he was unnerved by the length of the whole ordeal, the congratulations and the smiles all irking him further. He just couldn't wait for the darkness of the room to swallow you both.
─ ⋅ ⋅ ⋅ ──── ✮ ─── ⋅ ⋅ ⋅ ──
The silence of the room was being interrupted by the sound of crickets outside, the window was slightly ajar letting in the mild wind into the room which carried a scent of the stars. The only light cast a warm glow over the furniture, the mirror was dim and full of shadows, you were reluctant to look at your reflection, the image painted there was one of innocence waiting to be touched. Your hair was let down, the locks flowing freely, in your eyes you could make out sparks from the flame of the candles, but the longer you looked, the more a sense of foreboding enveloped you.
In the crevices of your heart doubt crept in, an unsettling feeling in your bones, what if? That damned question crawled its way to you and you felt nauseous all of a sudden and as if it was an omen, footsteps resounded in front of the door. They were determined and powerful, no doubt belonging to a man, an it wasn't any man, it was your husband.
That title although it should, under different circumstances, didn't bring you any comfort, you cast your eyes outside the window, glancing at the stars, only to find out that a dark cloud covered them.
Caught up in your thoughts you hadn't even noticed the door opening and closing, you just sensed a presence in the room, the sound of breathing and a creak in the floorboards, there in front of you Jungwon stood. Outside, wind picked up its speed, rustling the leaves, the curtains danced for a moment and the candle by the bed went out, startling you. Finally, you looked up to the figure shrouded in the black that was towering over you, you couldn't recognize it, as if the man from the dinner was replaced by a phantom.
With a trembling hand you reached out, searching for the matches, striking one, the light exploded for a second, illuminating the space around you, revealing two eyes that were now staring at you from a very close proximity. While you were fumbling in the dark, Jungwon crossed the separating distance between the two of you. You stared at him back, no words coming out, the match in between of you, slowly burning, carefully he took it from your fingers and lightened a candle, restoring the atmosphere in the room.
Uncomfortable with barely there gap between you, you tried moving further away, only to be stopped by the hand weaving itself around your wrist, the hold he had on you was strong like a vice, you dared to look up at his eyes again. The flame reflected in them, otherwise they were completely black, like looking down into a deep well, the one that they warned you about in your childhood, one that carried a danger with it.
With a small voice you uttered his name, trying to break the grip around your hand, but to no avail, there was no doubt a bruise forming, but your strength was no match for his.
He came even closer, inhaling deeply, letting his nose trail the column of your neck, your body reacted at the tingling contact, erupting in a powerful shiver that reached the tips of your toes.
"Don't you know.", his voice was quiet, but deep and rough, his hold on you was still unrelenting and seemed to increase in its intensity when he uttered the next words.
"You are mine now.", then as if to seal the meaning, he left a scorching kiss on your collarbone, the warmth and wetness of his mouth paired with the softness of his lips made a quiet flame start to lick at the base of your spine despite the fact that you were still struggling with his strength.
Finally, he freed your hand, redness blooming along your skin, a tell tale mark of his possession of you, then his hand moved to your shoulder, pushing you down onto the mattress. Your shock filled eyes stared up at him, while he gazed at you with the eyes of a vulture, thirst and hunger reflecting in them. Afraid, you cast your gaze away.
That seemed to anger him, for he pulled his hand up, cupping your face with barely contained roughness, preventing any movement, forcing your eyes on his again, he leaned down to your ear, whispering, "Be good for me, will you?".
His breath tickled you and some hidden part of you keened in delight, the depth of his voice was enticing and the weight of his body pressing on yours was making your hands twitch against your sides, as if on instinct you wanted to wrap your arms around his shoulders. Instead, you chose to grip onto the sheets, bunching them tightly in your grip.
Sensing your pliancy, Jungwon hummed in approval, his thumb coming to rub gently against your cheek, it trailed small circles on your flesh until it traveled to your lower lip, pulling it back and playing with it. His finger demanded entrance and you granted him that, opening your mouth in obedience.
His eyes focused on the way his thumb disappeared into your cavern of warmth, satisfied with the sight and the sensation he moved his index finger too, putting it in as well, pressing down onto your tongue. You were perplexed as to why it felt so good, him exploring your mouth like that, you were not taught about it at all, you were informed only of the basics, but little did you know the night was full of suprises ahead.
He pulled out his fingers, them glistening in the dark, and trailed them along the expanse of your chest, leaving a wet trail, you shuddered at the striking sensation against your skin. Your nightdress was basically useless, see through and slipping down your shoulders, he pulled it down even more, exposing you to the damp air and his hungry eyes.
Jungwon visibly swallowed, greeted by your bare chest, his touch was feather light, mapping out your skin, and then his mouth followed, nibbling all over your breasts, awakening a warm feeling in between your thighs which only intensified when he licked one of your perk nipples, your hands were still rumpling the sheets, even harder then before. Inside you weren't sure if you wanted this but the pleasure he coaxed out of you, the strength which he emitted while treating you, was slowly erasing the reluctance from your mind.
When his hands came to grip at your hips, bunching up the fabric and pressing down with possessive hold, you finally let go and moved your fingers, tangling them in the hair at the nape of his neck, it was slick with sweat, the summer air no doubt taking a toll on him, but in the back of your mind you knew it was something else too. He was breathing hard, barely containing himself from completely ruining you all at once, he was getting tired with all the teasing touches and caresses, impatience growing inside of him but he had to seduce you somehow into obedience. He wanted urgently but he was no beast.
That thought seemed to morph into an affirmative sentence the moment he pulled the hem of your nightdress further up, exposing your damp thighs and the place of which he dreamed of, abundant with warmth and wetness. He couldn't help the groan he let out in the night when his hand greeted the heat of you, dipping into your entrance, his resolve was gone by then.
With clumsy fingers he undid the front of his pants, freeing himself of the shackles that forbid him from having you completely. He was stiff with desire and need, burning up from inside out. With no room for pleasantries or sweetness, he pushed into you, filling you all at once, you let out a gasp, fingers digging into his neck, deep enough to draw blood. Nothing could prepare you for this, nor for what is to come.
He basked in your warmth for a moment, but he couldn't wait anymore, with you gripping him so tightly, he could tell you've only been his and no one else's before. He was pleased to no end, pulling out and then slamming back in without any gentleness. His pace was animalistic and consuming, he was pouring in all of the frustration he had to face ever since he saw you for the first time.
For poor you, it was too intense, small hiccups leaving your mouth in tandem with his thrusts, you didn't know anymore what you were feeling, was it discomfort or pure pleasure, it was all mixed together in the haze of your joining. Your insides began to clench, something was clawing its way up your whole body, a feeling so violent, a consequence of his rough ministrations. You tried to warn him somehow, tried to utter his name but it crashed over you in intense waves, a pleasure so blinding, at that moment you could feel all the love he wanted to fuck into you.
All his passion and obsession, all his restless nights spent thinking about you, he wanted you to taste it too, to be as consumed as he was. He was watching every twitch of your body, satisfied that it was all his doing, no force could stop him now, he was on the top of the world, he met eyes directly with God while taking in the sight of you.
Soon he followed after you, an abrupt stop in his pace while he spilled hotly into you, indulging in every spurt, in every tremor that seized his body, because it was all for you and by you.

you are new to the neighborhood and you felt like someone’s been watching your every move. however, you brushed it off like you always do as you carry your stuff inside the apartment. after you finished, there was a guy wearing shades in black and you noticed he’s living beside yours.
a hot neighbor.
you mentally slap yourself from thinking inappropriately to someone you never even talk to. then, he stopped in front of his front door and looking at his right side where he saw you were staring at him openly, without care of being judge.
he clicked his tongue, clearly amused.
what he did after, he waved his hand at you with a smirk tugging at his luscious lips and later, he entered his apartment. your eyes widened, flustered from the act.
“cute.”
it was shameless of you to gawk at someone you find attractive, after that embarrassing interaction you’ve had with the guy—you tried your best to ignore him when he called out for you. he was having fun teasing you, yet he was getting impatient as he wants to know more about his pretty neighbor.
sunghoon never stop his plans.
the first thing he do every morning before he go to his work place is to stop by at your apartment and bring you breakfast with a letter “morning pretty, i made you breakfast so don’t starve yourself. :)”
he also buy flowers for you, lilies, your favorite.
you never find it disturbing.
rather, it made your heart flutter. the flowers he gave you, you will put them in the vase. you always made sure to take care of them just like how he tells you to do.
whether he is doing this as a friend, you couldn’t care less as long as you’re happy at the moment. with him.
however, the most unexpected and shocking truth you witnessed from sunghoon was he’s jerking off while his curtains are wide open where anyone could watch shamelessly.
he’s like those men in porn.
you wonder who was he thinking about while touching himself. you felt jealous from that person. you wished it was you.
“what the fuck is wrong with me?” you mentally hit yourself, still watching him there—breathless and hands still playing with his cock.
he has a horse cock and prominent veins.
on top of that, the tip is reddish, swollen and leaking with too much pre-cum.
you instinctively pressed your thighs together, to ease the discomfort. your gaze met his, staring right at your flabbergasted ones.
he caught you.
your hands were quick to close the blinds, as your back slides against the wall, ashamed. will he confront me? is he going to report me? shit.
a yelped escaped your mouth, as your phone on the side table is ringing continuously. you saw his name, park sunghoon. your neighbor who caught you shamelessly watching him jerked off. fuck, i’m dead.
a bunch of messages from him.
park (hot neighbor) :
join me? or are you just going to watch me jerk off while thinking about your pretty mouth sucking me off?
your pussy throbs at that. so without hesitation, you rushed towards his place, knocking aggressively. when he opens the door, his annoying grin appeared.
“impatient, aren’t we? come in, princess.”
once you’re inside, a click came from behind, as he pushed you against the wall—kissing you with need, it’s one of his desire to have his mouth on you.
you moaned, trying to pull away from the intense and passionate kiss. “wait…”
you’re out of breath.
“why? didn’t expect me to be a good kisser, or—“ sunghoons’ hand slides lower, until he cupped your wetness through your lil shorts. “oh…? you’re soaked through, princess. so adorable.”
he chuckled, hands still settled between your thighs. he couldn’t wait any longer, sunghoon told you to jump and carried you in the living room, where he throw your body on the sofa.
you pulled his face, wanting to taste him better this time. there’s a hint of mint and strawberry flavor as you sucked on his tongue. he groaned at that, his hand pulled your legs apart as he kept on grinding his boner. you feel turned on, your cunt releases with more slick.
“fuck, tell me to stop right now, princess.” his voice muffled, while his mouth is attacking your neck with hickeys.
you shook your head, no. “i don’t want you to stop, please.”
so he didn’t stop.
sunghoon tugged your shorts lower, followed by your soaked undies that he instantly crumpled and slipped it into his pocket. you saw it, but didn’t say anything.
he slapped his cock on your wet folds, making squelching sounds. your cunt kept fluttering from the teasing. you just wanted for him to slip it in already and ruin you.
“look at your cunny, princess. it’s pulsating, you love being toyed like this, hm? you want my cock so bad, yeah? come on, tell hoonie.” he taunted.
you whimpered, frustrated.
“i want it so bad, hoonie. i want your big cock to destroy my pussy, god, please—“
the sudden stretch made you cry, scratching his back at the same time. sunghoon hissed, not because of the nails digging on his back, but because of your walls squeezing him in.
“this is what you wanted, right?”
you only nod your head, as the pain subsided. you look broken already and he hasn’t started yet.
“shit—you’re tight as fuck, princess.”
then, he lifted your other leg, pressing it up against your chest. his cock is so deep in your stomach and sunghoon saw how his length bulges through your belly.
he bit his lip, he wants to hold back all his strength not to drive his cock into you.
“fuck me already, hoonie…”
“please…? pleasepleaseplease.”
your whines gave him an adrenaline rush, and he felt his cock throbbing inside you—he didn’t even expect it could be worser than that.
“oh… i definitely will.”
he pulled out his shaft, before slamming it all the way deeper in your cervix. you gasped loudly, as his tip persistently hits the right spot. “right there—nghh—“
sunghoon grunted with a grin carved into his mouth. “right here…?” he asked, as he switched his angle which made your eyes rolled back, vision blurry. he also flattened his hand on your crotch, fingers working on your neglected clit—rolling, rubbing and pinching it.
your legs are shaking uncontrollably.
“i’m gonna come—hoonie—yesyesyes!” you frantically chanted, desperate to come on his cock. “yeah? come on my cock, princess. make it rain.” as he said that, you squirted—some of your liquids spattered on his face. he even tried to catch a drop by sticking out his tongue like a madman.
after getting a taste, his thrust became more feral. the only thing that’s been running through his head: breed her, breed her. fuck, he’d do it over and over until you’re swollen and carrying his babies.
“mhm—i’m coming,” he buried his face on to your neck, and he made sure to pushed his cock deeper into you. plap. plap. plaaap. he let out a deep groan, still bottoming out when he felt his cock getting bigger. a spurt of cum came out of the tip, before pulling out of you. “take it, princess. shit—jesus fuck—s’good.”
you slowly sat up on the couch, grabbing his cock on both of your hands, leaning in so you could lick the head. you moaned at the taste, before you took the entire thing on your mouth—tongue gliding on the base and you made sure to play with his balls. sunghoon placed a hand on the back of your head, pulling you closer to his length and gradually thrusts in your warm cavern.
“you’re doing good, princess.” he praised.
he tipped his head back, groaning. he’s about to come again. so you didn’t halt your movements by sucking harshly on his shaft. you got wet from sucking him off, and he noticed. sunghoon chuckled, leaning over to slide three digits on your needy cunt. ramming it relentlessly to help you come with him at the same time.
“swallow every drop, baby girl.” sunghoon grab your cheeks, tilting your head and watching your throat moves. “good girl.” when you came on his fingers, he stared straight into your eyes before sucking the three digits that was in your hole a while ago. “deliciosa.” your face heats up, embarrassed.
as the night ended, you still have no idea that park sunghoon was the one who has been watching your every move. he made sure that no one will know his dirty little secret—the stolen pictures of you while you’re cleaning your apartment, doing your laundry while wearing your little shorts that he almost could see your fat swollen lips peeking out when you bent down. and lastly, whenever you take a peek at your window to see if your neighbor is there, without knowing he has always been there—hiding and watching you.
Soft Dom!PSH } He went away on tour for a while... And he missed you badly, like that bad. He bought a sex toy close to how your insides felt.. and even sent you a voice message of him playing with himself, as he thought of you ᰔᩚ

You sit across from Danielle at a small café table, your sketchbook open but ignored. She stirs her drink and leans in. “Maki’s birthday party is this weekend. You should just make it official with him already. You’ve been flirting for weeks.”
You nod once, eyes on the foam in your cup. Official sounds simple when she says it. In practice, it means another text from Ni-ki, obviously. He coincidentally always finds out about your dating history after him. Last month it was some guy from your art history class. The month before, a barista. Each time the message arrives at odd hours and it's always a question or a rude observation, never asking to get back together nor admitting jealousy. He only wants to remind you he knows.
You set your cup down. “I’ll think about it.”
Danielle raises an eyebrow. “That’s it? Come on. Maki’s pretty fun. You two click.”
You shrug. The real reason sounds so stupid that if you tell her what it really is, she will never let it go. Ni-ki works his underground gigs, tags walls at night, within the fact that he's disgustingly rich. He stays out of your classes and your schedule. You study late in the studio, mix paints, build installations. Neither of you reaches out first anymore and it’s great like that. But your dating life? That pulls him back every time, like clockwork.
The party is two days away. You already know how it will go.
You lean back in your chair and tap your fingers on the edge of the table while thinking. “Yeah, maybe.”
Danielle snorts. “Maybe? Be fucking for real. He’s been texting you every day. What’s the hold up?”
You pick up your cup and take a sip. “It’s not that deep. I’ll see how the party goes.”
She rolls her eyes. “Don't make it a big deal, anyway. You can't let men get to your head.”
You nod once and change the topic to her upcoming exam. Inside your head, you could already picture the message that will come after the party. Ni-ki, jealous as always, pretending he doesn’t care. And of course he will never miss an opportunity to make a mean comment on the guys you talk to, or even try to ruin the beginning of a flirt. Even if he’s the one who fucked all this up and made you who you are now. All of that, without holding an entire conversation with you.
You push open the door to your apartment and drop your bag on the couch. Your phone rings when you’re about to sit down. It’s written Maki on the screen.
“Hey, are you coming to my party Saturday?” he asks right away.
“Of course, I’ll be there.”
“Cool. Do you wanna match outfits? Wear white. We’ll look good together.”
You chuckle. “Damn, bossy as hell. What if I wear black just to fuck with you?”
“Hmm, then I’ll find you and make you change. Or take it off. Your call.”
“Keep dreaming.” you say, smiling despite yourself. The back and forth stays light for another minute and you bring yourself to tell him you need to finish some sketches.
“See you Saturday then, white outfit. Don’t you dare flake.”
You hang up and toss the phone on the bed. A few minutes later you open Instagram. One of your classmate’s stories pops up first. You scroll through it and freeze. In the background, clear as day, Ni-ki stands close to some girl, his hand near her waist while she laughs at one of his stupid joke he probably said. Of course it’s confusing when your ex ; who did you dirty ; exposes himself without an ounce of shame with another girl, and has the nerve to make a single comment on your situationship.
“Fuck.” you mutter under your breath. You close the app, set your phone face down, and turn off the light to drift into sleep.
───
You wake up. It’s Thursday morning and you text Danielle to meet for shopping. By ten you both walk through the mall, racks of clothes between you. You pull out a short plain white dress and hold it up.
“This one?”
Danielle nods. “Try it. Maki said white, right? I think it’ll work.”
You change in the fitting room, step out, and turn to look at the overall. You subtly notice that it bunches up behind your butt when you walk, but it’s not going to be a big of a problem, is it?. Who cares anyway? The dress fits so you obviously buy it. After that you head to the food court and split a large order of fries and two sandwiches at a table by the window.
Halfway through your food you look at her. “Do you think I’ve changed since the breakup?”
Danielle chews and swallows. “Yeah, I do. After Ni-ki you actually moved on. You stopped sitting around waiting for whatever that was. Now you flirt back when guys like Maki show interest. It’s good. You seem so much more lighter.”
You nod and eat another fry. You continue chewing on food while talking about a new series she started watching. You finish eating, pay, and walk out together. By late afternoon you split up at the parking lot. She heads to her car for a study group and you walk the other way toward the row of ATMs on the street corner.
You stand in line behind an older woman counting her cash. Not so long after, a black car pulls up across the street. You could recognize this car model amongst every other one’s. You glance over and see Ni-ki leaning against the hood. A girl stands in front of him and they kiss. You can’t help but gaze back and forth two times, since their kiss was disgustingly agonizingly long. She pulls away to say something close to his ear, and walks off down the block, disappearing. He watches her go before he gets back in the car.
“Ew.” you mutter under your breath. Were our kisses that repulsing to watch?
The car starts and drives straight toward the ATM lane. It stops right behind where you stand. You keep your eyes on the machine ahead, trying to act like you weren’t hoping anticipating for his arrival. The woman finishes and leaves. Ni-ki gets out and stands next to you, so close that you can smell the trace of his signature cologne mingled with cigarette smoke. You’ve had so much memories attached to that scent that it made you slightly squint your eyebrows together.
He stands there and waits. “You saw that earlier?”
You really don’t want to look at him right now. Or you’d rather not see any trace of lipgloss on his lips. “Yes. It was disgusting.”
He lets out a short breath, a laugh disguised in a scoff. You step up to the ATM, punch in your code, and request twenty dollars. The whole time he stays there, hands in his jacket pockets, watching the screen.
“Jealous now?” he asks after a beat.
“No. I was just stating what I saw.”
While he stays still you turn slightly to see him planted beside the machine, eyes on you like he has more to say. It’s only you and him now.
You grab your twenty dollars and the receipt from the slot. Ni-ki steps closer, blocking the easy path back to the sidewalk.
“You don’t care anyway,” he says. “You’re probably flirting with a bunch of guys right now. That’s your thing these days.”
“Fuck off.” you tell him flat. You turn to walk away but he stays at the machine, inserts his card, and selects an amount. The machine whirs and starts dispensing a thick stack of bills that could choke a horse. You pause a few steps away and watch in curiosity.
“Are you planning on buying the whole block?” you ask sarcastically.
He counts the bills quickly and stuffs them into his wallet. “It’s for Maki’s party. We’re tight, so I’m handling the alcohol and the rest of the shit. Bottles don’t come cheap.”
You shake your head. He shuts the wallet and walks past you to his car. The door opens with a loud click. Before he gets in he looks back at you, mouth tilted in that unnerving half-smirk.
“See you at the party. Bring your guys. I’ll be there too.”
‘Bring your guys’ You couldn’t expect much from him. He slides into the driver seat, starts the engine, and pulls away. You stand there a moment longer, cash still in your hand, then head back toward your apartment.
───
On Saturday, you sit on the edge of your bed with your phone pressed to your ear. Maki’s voice comes through clear while you fold the white dress you bought. “That girl from my econ class is definitely showing up even though no one invited her,” he says. “And that dude Anderson? He’s bringing his speaker setup again. Last time it blew out halfway through the night.”
You laugh. “Tell him to keep the volume normal this time. I don’t want another noise complaint.”
The conversation bounces around. Maki updates you on the food he ordered and the playlist he’s making. When you compare him to Ni-ki, you’d obviously think that he was the right guy for you and that your ex wouldn’t stand a chance against him. Nonetheless, you can’t deny the fact that your heart always chases after a particular thing. A thing that maybe Maki doesn’t have that someone else does. After that, he pauses.
“You got a ride? My villa’s pretty far out and I can’t leave to pick you up. I’m stuck setting everything up here.”
You look at the clock. “I’ll figure something out.”
“Ni-ki’s coming from your side of town. It’s basically on his way. I’ll text him to grab you.”
You freeze for half a second. Maki has no clue about your history and that’s weird considering how close he is to Ni-ki. You think about the choices you might have. There’s no bus going that far, and cabs would cost too much.
“Alright,” you say. “Tell him.”
“Cool. He’s reliable for this stuff.”
You both keep talking for a bit and you check the time again and tell him you need to start getting ready.
“See you tonight. Don’t forget. White.” he says before you hang up.
You set the phone down, stand up, and pull the dress from the hanger. You lay it out on the bed and start with your hair. You finish getting ready and check your reflection one more time. Your phone lights up on the dresser. A text from Ni-ki.
Ni-ki [8:07 PM]
Outside in 10.
You read it, set the phone back down without typing anything back. A few minutes later you hear the low rumble of his car pulling up in front of your building. You grab your bag, lock the door, and head downstairs.
He waits by the passenger side, engine still running. You walk over and he opens the door for you out of habit. You slide in. He gets behind the wheel and pulls away from the curb before glancing over. “You don’t usually wear white.” he says.
“It was Maki’s idea. He wanted us to match.”
He makes a small sound in the back of his throat. “Cute. Matching outfits like some high school shit. Really original.”
You buckle your seatbelt and stare straight ahead. “It’s just a color. Drop it.”
He taps his fingers on the steering wheel impatiently. “Didn’t say it wasn’t. It’s just funny how you’re suddenly into whatever he suggests. Remember when I joked about bringing another girl around? You lost your shit for weeks.”
The words hit exactly where he meant them to. You remember that night clearly. He had laughed it off as a joke after you found out he actually did bring someone else to one of his gigs while you were still together. Always a joke with him, always something he could walk back. That was the top 1 of the reasons why you should’ve left you listed in your note apps before breaking up with him.
“That wasn’t a joke and you know it,” you say. “You cheated and acted like it was nothing.”
He changes lanes, eyes on the road. “We weren’t even exclusive by then. Or did you rewrite the timeline again?”
“We were.” you answer. “You just didn’t want to admit it when it got inconvenient.”
The car fills with silence for two blocks. He speaks again, voice low.
“Whatever helps you sleep at night. Now you’re playing dress-up for Maki.”
You turn your head toward the window. “At least he doesn’t hide behind ‘it was just a joke’ every time he fucks up.”
That was enough to shut him up.
The villa is still twenty minutes away and the road stretches out in front of you. You watch the passing streetlights without saying anything else. Ni-ki keeps his eyes on the road until the villa comes into view, lights already spilling out from the windows and music thumping low. He parks along the long driveway behind a line of other cars.
He cuts the engine. You unbuckle and open your door at the same time he does. He steps out first, pulls a cigarette from his pack, and lights it. The flame catches quick. As you stand up and close the door, he moves around the front of the car. His hand brushes your side and tugs the hem of your dress down toward your thighs quickly.
“Try not to do anything stupid tonight.” he says around the cigarette, voice so low you almost missed what he said. He takes a drag, exhales smoke to the side, and walks off toward the house without waiting.
You adjust the strap of your bag and head inside on your own. The living room is already filling up and you usually hated crowds. You try to sneak upon people and finally spot Danielle near the kitchen island talking to two other girls from your program. You walk over and join them.
“Y/N,” Danielle says, pulling you into a quick side hug. “You made it. The dress looks so good on you.”
One of the girls, Eunchae, smiles. “We were just talking about who’s already drunk. Anderson started shots twenty minutes ago.”
You smile and lean against the counter. “Sounds about right. Anyone see Maki yet?”
The talk picks up from there. You greet the others, exchange small talk about classes, letting the party noise settle around you.
You leave the group with Danielle and weave through the growing crowd toward the back patio where most of the main action is. Maki stands near the sliding doors talking to a couple of guys holding red cups. He spots you and breaks into a grin.
“I’m so freaking glad you came.” he says.
“Happy birthday again. In person this time.” You step closer and press a quick kiss to his cheek. He turns his head just enough that your lips catch the corner of his mouth for a second. His hand rests lightly on your waist.
“Thanks. You look good in white. That’s exactly what I pictured, even though you look good in any color.”
You pull back but stay close to keep the conversation easy. He introduces you to the guys he’s with, and you chat for a few minutes about the setup and the music. You can already smell the grilled meat from the barbecue and an overwhelming “party” scent. Maki gets pulled into another conversation, so you tell him you’ll catch him later and step away.
Your eyes scan the patio. In the far corner, past the pool lights, sits the designated smoking section. Ni-ki leans against the railing there with a couple of other guys. He’s switched to vaping now. The device glows faintly as he takes a long pull. You watch as he does a slow ghost inhale, holding the vapor in before letting it drift out slowly through his nose and mouth at the same time.
His gaze lifts and locks on you across the distance. His gaze remaining on yours forcefully. The corner of his mouth lifts into a tiny smirk right as the rest of the smoke leaves his lips in a controlled cloud. The light from the string bulbs catches the side of his sharp features. You feel it low in your stomach, that unwanted pull. It looks hot, you have to admit it. How he controls the vapor, and when he watches you while doing it, the smirk signaling he knows exactly what he’s doing.
You turn back toward the house before the moment stretches too long. Danielle waves you over to a new group forming near the drinks table. You join them and focus on the conversation, although the image of Ni-ki in the corner stays at the edge of your mind. The party noise rises around you as more people arrive. You take a cup someone offers and listen to the stories being swapped, forcing yourself to stay present.
You stand with Danielle and the others near the drinks table. Maki walks over a few minutes later carrying a bottle of something stronger. He pours shots for the group and hands you one.
“To another year of making bad decisions,” he says, clinking his cup against yours.
You drink it down and the burn hits quick. You talk about nothing important, laugh at old stories, and pour another round. Danielle refills her cup and gestures toward the patio. “At least Ni-ki’s not causing drama tonight. You two good now?”
Is she serious right now? Maki pauses mid-sip and looks between you and her.
“Wait. Ni-ki is your ex?”
You set your cup down. “Yeah. It was a while ago.”
He blinks once, processing. He looks thrown off rather than mad. “Huh. I didn’t know that. Small world, I guess.”
He finishes his drink and shrugs it off with a half-smile. “I’m gonna go check on people. I’ll be back.” He squeezes your shoulder once and walks off toward the other side of the house.
You shoot Danielle a look. She mouths “sorry” and changes the subject fast. The group keeps drinking, but you can feel the shift. After another ten minutes you excuse yourself and head toward the patio again to get some air.
Maki ends up near the smoking section. He spots Ni-ki leaning against the railing with his vape and walks over. “Hey man, thanks for coming,” Maki says. “And for picking up Y/N earlier.”
Ni-ki exhales a cloud of vapor and nods. “No problem.”
Maki chuckles. “I didn’t know you two had history. Exes, right?”
Ni-ki’s mouth curves. “Yeah. Ancient history. She still acts like I owe her something though.”
Maki laughs lightly. “She’s cool. We’ve been talking a lot lately.”
“That so?” Ni-ki takes another pull from the vape, does a French inhale, and blows the smoke out slow. “She’s not with me anymore. But she’s still my ex. You know how it is.”
The cockiness in his voice could be heard from a mile away. Maki raises an eyebrow, still joking. “Possessive much? She’s her own person last time I checked.”
Ni-ki smirks wider. “Tell yourself that. Just don’t come crying when she ghosts your ass for no reason. She’s good at that.”
They both laugh, a back and forth that stays surface level yet carries tension underneath. Maki claps him on the shoulder once and moves on to talk to someone else. Ni-ki stays where he is, eyes scanning the party again.
You head back inside after the conversation dies down. The party has picked up. Music thumps louder through the speakers and people crowd onto the cleared dance floor in the main room. Danielle pulls you into the group with a few other girls. You move with them, bodies shifting to the beat, hands in the air for the chorus.
Maki finds his way over after a couple of songs. You dance facing him, then turn and press back against him for a few beats, grinding lightly against him. His hands rest on your hips. The alcohol makes everything feel loose. You stay like that for another track before you peel off and tell the girls you need air.
You step out onto the patio again. The night feels cooler now. Fewer people linger outside. Ni-ki still sits on the wide railing in the smoking corner, vape in one hand, a half-empty cup in the other. Two guys talk to him but soon head back inside, leaving him mostly alone.
You walk closer and stop a few feet away. “You’re still smoking that thing. You really can’t go one night without it?”
He looks up, takes a pull, and exhales. “It keeps me from doing worse shit. What about you? Grinding on the birthday boy like that. That’s new.”
You roll your eyes and lean against the railing nearby. The alcohol turns noticeably in your stomach. You breathe deeper, trying to clear your head, eyes focused on the dark yard beyond the lights. Ni-ki notices your light unsteadiness. He stands up and moves beside you, closer than he ever was in your life.
He lifts the vape to his mouth, inhales, and blows a thick cloud of smoke from the corner of his lips so it drifts past your face. His free hand drops to the hem of your dress again and tugs it down from your ass to your thighs with a firm pull.
“Come with me,” he says. “Let’s get you some water before you puke on Maki’s shoes.”
The dizziness lingers. He starts walking toward the side door that leads to the kitchen and you follow him. Most people are still on the dance floor so they’re not going to pay attention if something happens. You lean against the counter near the sink, with your head a little fuzzy from the shots. Ni-ki opens the fridge to grab a cold bottle of water, and hands it to you without a word.
You twist the cap off and take a long drink. He stops vaping, sets the device on the island, and leans back against it directly in front of you. His arms rest on the edge of the counter behind him.
“You’re being nice tonight,” he says. “Even drunk. Not like the old days when you’d tell me to fuck off for less.”
You lower the bottle and wipe your mouth with the back of your hand. “Don’t start acting like you know me. You lost that right a long time ago.”
He watches you take another sip. You set the bottle down with force. “Mind your own business.” you tell him. “Stop trying to ruin my love life every time I talk to someone else.”
Ni-ki pushes off the island and steps forward. He places one hand on the counter beside your hip, the other on the other side, bracketing you in. Without touching you, the space between you shrinks. You can smell the scent of his vape and the subtle alcohol on his breath. He’s not drunk, but neither does he seems sober.
“I don’t give a shit if you choose Maki,” he declares lowly. “I don’t even want you back like that. We both know that. I just don’t like that you’re not mine anymore.”
You stay pressed against the counter, looking up at him. “Then why the fuck can you kiss other girls whenever you want,” you say, “and I don’t have the right to do anything? You get to move on but I can’t even dance with someone without you pulling this shit?”
His eyes stay on yours without moving an inch.
“Because I don’t pretend it’s something bigger,” he answers. “I kiss who I want and it ends there. You start something and suddenly it’s this whole production with matching outfits and rides and everyone knowing your business. It pisses me off that you’re out here acting like you’re free when you used to be mine. That’s all.”
You push against his chest lightly with one hand. He gives an inch but stays close.
“What the fuck am I to you? An object? You don’t own me,” you tell him. “We broke up. Get over it.”
He lets out a short laugh. “I am over it. That doesn’t mean I have to like watching it. Especially not with Maki acting like he’s got a chance at something real.”
Music pulses from the other rooms and it feels distant. He waits for your next words, hands still planted on the counter.
You push past him and walk out of the kitchen. The alcohol still clouds your steps as you head toward the stairs. You start climbing without looking back.
“Stop,” Ni-ki calls after you. “You’re gonna trip like that.”
You ignore him and keep going. Your dress rides up a little with each step, bunching higher on your thighs. A couple of guys standing at the bottom of the stairs turn their heads, eyes dropping to your ass.
“Eyes up, assholes.” Ni-ki snaps at them as he moves quickly behind you.
He follows close on your heels the rest of the way up, his body blocking the view from below. You reach the second floor hallway and stop near an open window for air. He stops right behind you, you feel the heat from him.
You push away from the windowsill, head spinning more than before. The dizziness hits harder. You walk down the hall and open the nearest bedroom door. It’s empty with just a big bed and some jackets thrown over a chair. You go straight to the bed and lie down on your back, eyes closed.
Ni-ki follows you in. “Slow down. You’re drunk.”
“Fuck you.” you mutter, arm over your eyes. “Always acting like you can tell me what to do or like you still have a say. Go find another girl to kiss and leave me alone.”
You hear his footsteps cross the room. The door clicks shut behind him, closing out most of the party noise. He stays near the door for a moment, and then he moves closer to the bed.
“I’m not leaving you up here like this,” he says. “You’ll feel worse if you pass out alone. Drink more water when you can sit up.”
You keep your eyes covered, the room tilting even while lying down. “I hate how you do this. You show up and act like you care only when it suits you.”
He pulls the chair closer to the bed and sits.
You stay on the bed, arm still draped over your eyes. The dizziness refuses to calm down. Ni-ki shifts in the chair beside you. “I know I’m an asshole,” he says after a long pause. “But Maki’s too drunk to take care of you properly. He’s downstairs doing shots and barely standing straight. You think he’s coming up here to hold your hair if you throw up?”
You move your arm and look at him. The room lights feel too bright. “And you think you’re any better? You followed me up here like I need a babysitter.”
He leans forward, elbows on his knees. “Someone has to. You drank too much and came upstairs alone. I’m not trying to fuck with you right now. So stay here until it passes a bit.”
You try to move your head on the pillow. The bed feels still under you compared to the floor earlier. Ni-ki gets up from the chair. The mattress dips as he sits down on the edge next to you. His hand lands on the mattress right behind your head, his fingers brushing the pillow.
“You need anything?” he asks. “More water? Something to eat?”
“Fuck off,” you say without opening your eyes. “I don’t want anything from you.”
“Come on. Stop being stubborn.”
“Fuck you, Ni-ki. Seriously. Go downstairs and vape or kiss whoever the hell you want. Leave me the fuck alone.”
You turn your face further into the pillow. He stays seated there, hand still planted behind your head on the bed.
“Do you love Maki?” he asks suddenly.
Why would he ask that all of a sudden? When you try to consider it, you don’t love Maki. You really don’t. Love is a strong word to describe what you’re feeling for him. And when you think about it, you don’t even have a definition for love, since the ‘real’ love you’ve ever experienced was absolutely fucked and toxic. You remain silent and let the question float, unanswered.
He leans in a bit closer. “Have you ever kissed him?”
“Yes,” you confess. “Once on the mouth. And please, it’s really none of your business.”
After your declaration, he softly abruptly kisses you. And weirdly enough, you can’t push him away. The shape of his lips, the curve of his mouth, they all are familiar to you. You’ve kissed him a hundred times and only God knows why it always feels surreal when you do. You stay still under it for a few seconds. When he finally pulls back you wipe your lips with the back of your hand. He laughs low and kisses you again right away. You try to turn your head but he follows, kissing you so you can’t wipe anything off. You manage to get your hand between you for a moment.
“Stop.” you mutter against his mouth. “What the fuck are you doing?”
He kisses you once more, quick and sure. “You told me to go kiss a girl. I’m listening to you.”
You push at his shoulder, a tentative move to use your strength that isn’t even there because of the alcohol. “That’s not what I meant. Can you stop being such an asshole?”
He laughs again, close to you. “You said it. Now you’re mad when I do it. Make up your mind.”
You wipe your mouth again and he’s automatically already leaning in. “This doesn’t change anything.”
“Yeah,” he murmurs. “I aware of that.” He kisses you anyway and you let him once again. You bicker between kisses, words half-formed and cut off. He keeps the pace just fast enough that you can’t keep wiping your lips clean. Your thoughts spin slower by now, caught between telling him to leave and not wanting him to. You can’t decide.
Ni-ki shifts and towers over you on the bed, one knee beside your leg. Your hands find his shoulders and stay there to anchor yourself. The making out gets more heated, mouths open, breaths mixing, just like the good old days. His hand slides down to the side of your hip. He grips it and whispers against your lips, “I can finally slide this dress up.”
If anything scandalous could possibly happen, you can’t allow that to be known by anyone. Not Maki nor Danielle. And knowing how Ni-ki could just spill that in Maki’s face just to fuck with him. It couldn’t be worse than what this is. You pull back to speak, your face a few inches away from his. “If we do anything right now, you forget it tomorrow. You shut your damn mouth.”
He nods once. “Agreed.”
You tilt your head back as he moves to your neck. “Maki’s downstairs waiting for me.”
He makes an irritated sound low in his throat. “Don’t bring him up while I’m doing this.” He kisses your neck harder and sucks stingily on the skin. You feel the pull as he leaves a noticeable hickey. He moves lower, mouth working along your collarbone, leaving more marks. One after another.
You breathe through it, fingers in his hair. He shifts to the other side of your neck and does the same, sucking until the skin blooms under his mouth. Your thoughts keep circling back to how bad an idea this is, but you don’t want to can’t stop him. He covers your neck and collarbones, alternating between kisses and harder pulls that you know will show tomorrow.
“Fuck,” you mutter when he hits a sensitive spot. He keeps going, hand still firm on your hip under the bunched fabric of the dress. The party noise stays far away and for now the room holds only this.
You feel his hand move under the dress. He slides your panties down your legs easily and tosses them aside. His fingers return between your thighs and caress your folds, slow and patient, waiting for you to get wet.
You find it funny, this power you still have over him, and how easily he would react to a mention on the guys you’re talking to. You smile against his mouth and start talking. “Maki kissed me better last time. His hands didn’t shake like yours do when you’re trying to act cool.”
Ni-ki’s fingers keep moving, teasing your entrance but not pushing in yet. “Stop.”
You ignore him and keep going. “He texts me every day. He says he misses me when I don’t reply. You never did that.”
“Y/N, what are you doing?” he says again, voice tighter. His fingers circle your clit once, then back to your folds, spreading the wetness that starts to build.
You chuckle low. “You’re so easy to annoy. Look at you. Already hard and I haven’t even touched you back.”
He leans down closer, mouth near your ear while his hand works between your legs. “And would you look at yourself? Such a needy little slut, getting wet for your ex while your new boy is downstairs waiting. Can’t even stay loyal for one night, don’t you?”
You breathe sharper at his words, body reacting even as your mind pushes back. His fingers stay teasing, patient, drawing it out. You shift your hips but he doesn’t speed up. The marks on your neck throb in time with your pulse, as he sucked on your skin like a vampire. You know you should tell him to stop but the words don’t come out of your mouth. Anyone who would even just see their ex from afar would run away or ignore them. And mostly after them cheating on you and being an asshole. You feel dumb right now. You let him keep touching you, the mingle of annoyance and heat keeping you there under him.
You feel his hands on your waist. He lifts you without much effort and shifts you onto his lap so you straddle him. Your dress bunches up around your hips. He unbuckles his jeans, pushes them down and leaves his boxers on for a minute, and pulls you closer. He grinds up against you, his hard cock sliding along your wetness through the thin fabric.
You reach down between you and wrap your hand around him. You stroke slowly, spreading the precum from the tip down his length. He exhales sharply, like when he exhales smoke. You position yourself and sink down onto him, taking him in inch by inch until you sit fully on his dick.
“I fucking hate you.” you whisper.
He grips your hips tighter. You start to move, slow at first. The feeling of him inside you brings back too many memories. You rock your hips, hands on his shoulders for balance. He meets your movements from below, thrusting up into you.
“You say that but you’re soaking my cock right now,” he mutters.
Even like this, he finds a way to talk back. You keep riding him, the heat raising in the room. Your thighs press against his sides which makes the bed creaks quietly under you both. You hate how right it feels in the moment, how your body responds to him without hesitation, because you’ll always have this weird connection together. He fills you completely and you let yourself chase that feeling, even while the words “I hate you” echo in your head.
You keep moving on him, hips rolling steadily. Ni-ki’s hands slide down to your ass. He fondles it, squeezing the flesh as you ride him.
“That’s it,” he says, voice low and condescending. “You’re taking my cock so well. Such a good little slut for your ex even after all that talking shit.”
He slaps your ass once, the sound sharp below the muffled music. The sting mixes with the pleasure as you clench around him involuntarily. He does it again on the other cheek, harder this time, then rubs the spot right after.
“Fuck, you feel so tight,” he continues, fondling and kneading your cheeks while you move. “Maki doesn’t know how to handle you like this, does he? But here you are, bouncing on me like you never left.”
You bite your lip to hold back a moan. His words irritate you but they also push you closer. He slaps your ass a third time, grips both cheeks and pulls you down harder onto him with each thrust. His hands stay on your ass, fondling, slapping, controlling the pace as you ride him. Your thoughts scatter between the anger and the building heat and you don’t if anything feels right. You hate how much you like his hands on you right now, the way he praises you like he owns the moment. You keep going anyway, letting the cadence take over.
You press down harder, sitting fully on him and stirring your hips in tight circles so his dick moves deep inside you. Ni-ki groans and grips your ass tighter, hips jerking up. You feel him throbbing, right on the edge.
You lift off him suddenly, his cock slipping out wet and You press down harder, sitting fully on him and stirring your hips in tight circles so his dick moves deep inside you. Ni-ki groans and grips your ass tighter, hips jerking up. You feel him throbbing, right on the edge.
You lift off him suddenly, his cock slipping out wet and hard. You grab your panties from the floor and pull them back on quick. He stares at you, breathing heavy.
“What the fuck?” he says.
You smooth your dress down over your hips. “We said forget it tomorrow. I’m done.”
A knock sounds on the door. Maki’s voice comes through. “Y/N? You in there?”
You glance at Ni-ki once before walking to the door. Your legs feel unsteady but you keep moving. The hickeys on your neck burn under the fabric. You open the door just enough to slip out, leaving Ni-ki on the bed behind you. Maki stands in the hallway, looking concerned.
“Hey, I was looking for you,” he says. “You okay?”
You nod and close the door behind you. “Yeah. I needed to lie down for a bit. Let’s go back downstairs.”
Your mind races as you walk with him, getting occasional stares from him on your neck and collarbones. The wetness between your legs a reminder of what just happened. But everything will be forgotten the day after, right?

A month from today, it was going to be four years since your dad passed away, and if you were being honest, not one day got better. Sure, you did continue your dream of becoming a preschool teacher, you took care of kids and you enjoyed it so much.
You visited your dad’s grave often, it didn’t matter the occasion. You never visited when your mother went through, not that she even went to his grave anyway. You were mad at her since the day you found out she wasn’t there when your dad passed away because she was busy getting proposed to by the man she had an affair with. Yeah, crazy. She skipped your graduation—lied and said that she had important work to do, but she was on a date with that man. You were pissed off, to say the least. And you know your dad would probably say, “people make mistakes, learn how to forgive them.” But this was different, your mother chose to skip your graduation, it wasn’t a mistake. It was a choice. Your siblings forgave her after a while, but they don’t understand you. They don’t get why you haven’t forgiven her. Then again, they were way older than you and probably thought differently.
At some point after your dad died, you thought you were going crazy. There were a lot of moments where you thought his spirit or something was there with you everywhere you went. One time, you were buying flowers for him to put on his grave and when you went to pay, the old man—probably your dad’s age, introduced himself with the same exact name. It scared you, and you ran away. But just minutes after, you came back and had a chat with the man, it turns out he was a retired therapist and listened to you. It was a wholesome moment—for you, at least, the poor man probably thought you were crazy and were messing with his head. The visits at your dad’s grave became more frequent. Even though you still had your friends to rely on, your dad was the one you went to first.
You would tell him about your day, whether it was boring or not. He always listened to you rant about it so you thought maybe instead of bothering your friends who also had their own things going on, that you’d go to your dad instead. You always tried to freshen up the flowers on his grave but they kept dying, which was now something you realized wasn’t your thing—it was Jake’s and your father’s.
“Okay, which one?”
You pointed at the wine-red colored dress, making Yunjin gasp. “I knew you had great taste, babe.”
She hurried back to her closet to change, making you smile away, opening your book to continue reading.
Yunjin and Jay were dating, today was their third year anniversary, and you couldn’t be happier for them. It’s as if they were destined to be—for the most part. A year after your father’s passing—specifically on Yunjin’s birthday, Jay gifted something no one knew she liked but him, making it obvious there was something going on between them. Neither said anything though, but it was clearly obvious they had a thing for each other. Just a few weeks after her birthday, Jay approached you.
You, Yunjin, Yizhuo, and the boys had gone out to a bar, and they all got completely hammered, except for you and Jay. Even though this hang out was specifically for you and Jay, this was your first night out after your dad’s passing, and a celebration for Jay because he had gotten a big promotion. So naturally, when everyone was dead asleep, you and Jay made some tea and decided to step into the terrace for fresh air. Just like you always did.
“So…” You pouted and nodded, sipping on your tea.
“I have to tell you something.” You paused, glancing at Jay. “It’s a lot, but I feel like I’m ready and should probably tell you. It’s the right thing.”
You furrowed your eyebrows and turned to face him completely. “You okay?”
He nodded. “Yeah, actually. More than okay. That’s why I feel like now’s the moment for me to confess something.” You nodded slowly, watching his breathing become slower. “I…I kind of—no, I had feelings for you, for a long time.”
“Oh…” you trailed off, making him chuckle.
“Yeah, I know. I wasn’t planning on telling you this—like, ever. But I think I’ve finally moved on and I can tell you with certainty that my feelings for you now are extremely platonic.” His eyes looked everywhere but you. “I started having a crush on you back in high school but that kind of went away when you and Jake became a thing. Then when you two broke up, and we reconnected…I couldn’t help but to think maybe there was a possibility where you and I…” he chuckled, licking his lips, “anyway, I really wanted it to happen but then I thought of the outcome where Jake and I were no longer friends, or where you didn’t reciprocate this feelings and I’d still lose Jake because of me betraying him, and you.” He shook his head, “maybe if it were in better circumstances, maybe then i would’ve done something about it, but you were going through a lot, and I didn’t want to add myself to that. So I settled on just being there for you as a friend.”
Your lips parted, inhaling slowly to let out a long breath. “That’s…I’m so sorry, I didn’t—“
“You don’t have to apologize. God, I don’t want you to do that.” He stopped you, stepping closer but still distanced enough to have his hands in front of him. “You never saw me in a romantic way and even though it hurt to admit it then, I understand now. And I’m okay now, if that’s what worries you.”
You nodded slowly, “I didn’t know you felt that way—I mean, Yizhuo did think you had a thing for me but I—I wasn’t in the right place to think about it like that.”
“And I totally get that.” He agreed, “I know your friends at some point tried to push the idea of us and I’m sorry if you ever felt like you had to make a choice, that was never my intention. I guess I was too obvious with my feelings.” He trailed off with a small laugh, making you smile awkwardly.
“Ugh, Jay, I really feel bad—“
He shook his head repeatedly. “I’m seriously okay, Y/n. If it makes you feel better, you made it less hurtful.”
You covered your face, “I don’t know how that’s supposed to make me feel better, Jay.”
He smiled and looked up at the stars before turning to you. “You’re a great girl, even if you didn’t feel the same way, I…still had a great time, I was focused on making you happy, I never truly thought about my feelings until Riki interrogated me about it.”
“So it’s Riki’s fault.”
He snorted, shrugging. “In a way.”
“Gosh, I’m sorry if you felt forced to spend time with me, or if I ever led you on. It wasn’t my intention, really.” You apologized.
“I kind of knew those feelings weren’t reciprocated, Y/n. I chose to spend time with you because you needed someone, and because it was enough for me.” You pursed your lips, not knowing what to say, making Jay look away with a soft smile on his face. He had finally confessed to you, even if this wasn’t how he wanted it to end at first. “I hope we can still be friends. I don’t want us to be awkward. I really like you as a friend.”
You glanced at him and smiled. “I really like you as a friend too.”
He chuckled, giving you his signature side-smile before pulling you into a friendly hug. With no hesitation, you hugged him back, patting him on the back.
“Can I ask something?” He nodded when you both pulled away. “Why do you think now is the right time to tell me all this?” You both sat back down on the chairs, you pulling the blanket over you. "Are you leaving or something?"
He nervously looked down. “No. I…I want to ask Yunjin out. On a date.”
Your eyes widened, “really?” He nodded, making you look back inside to see Riki and Yunjin spooning each other like little babies. You smiled at the scene and turned to Jay, “Since when?”
He shrugged, shaking his head in thought. “I don’t know, I think after the music festival, maybe. No offense or anything, but she kind of helped me get over you—in a way.” You nodded, “not that she was a rebound, I’m sure of my feelings for her, and I really wanted to ask her out. I don’t know if that’s weird to you or something.”
“What? Why would it be weird? Dude it’s because of me that you started liking her! I knew I made a good choice in making her invite you to that festival.” You smiled at yourself.
He frowned. “I thought she invited me because she wanted me to go.”
You side eyed him and smiled, chuckling awkwardly. “S-she did. I just gave her the idea.” You tried to save yourself and Yunjin.
He squinted his eyes at you. “Right…”
“You should totally ask her out. I’m ninety-nine percent sure she reciprocates those feelings.”
“See, the one percent is throwing me off.” He frowned again then gave you a tight smile.
You took a big gulp of your tea and shook your head. “I’ll talk to her. I think she’s just overthinking, because of—you know,” you motioned to you and him, making him nod. “I think she doesn’t want to be a bad friend but don’t worry, she likes you back.”
He smiled and nodded. “I’m hoping she does.”
“She does, trust me.”
The talk you had later that day with Yunjin was what she needed. Truly. She was worried about what you would think because she didn’t want you to be alone and stuff. You, of course, told her that her dating Jay wouldn’t mean you’d be alone. It took a while to convince her to admit it was okay to date him, but when she finally did, you felt like you had made a match—which you technically did if we go back to when you suggested Jay would enjoy the music festival. It also meant Heeseung had won the bet he did with Riki the year before, something you hadn't known about until Heeseung complained to the boy.
After that, the hangouts with your college friends got slightly better for some reason. You were twenty-five, employed, and had less time to hang out with each other—but you made it work. The person you saw the most around was Donghyuck and Riki.
Riki had graduated and became a dance instructor just next to the school where you taught, you had a bunch of coffee dates where he would rant about how one of the kids in his class reminded him of himself. It was cute. He also mentioned that he was seeing one of the instructors he worked with and that he was—and I quote, soooo in love with her. The cutest.
Shotaro had flown back to Japan to open a dance academy with a friend of his, even suggested Riki to come with. He’s probably the one you see the least because of the distance, but you still text each other—well, Donghyuck does. He’s always sending very non-laughable reels to the chat to which Shotaro forcibly reacts and Yizhuo simply tells him to shut up.
Everything was good.
You were happy.
“y/n, can I introduce you to a guy at work? He says he’ll help me with my promotion if I set him up with someone.” You stared at Donghyuck, looked him up and down. “Damn, woman. Just say no.”
You sighed loudly, taking the biggest sip of your coffee, to which he stared in shock.
“Are you trying to kill yourself?” He wondered.
“What? No.” He nodded in relief, “I don’t want to go on a date, especially not one set up by you.”
“What’s so bad about me? Tell me. I can take it.” He plumped his chest strongly.
“What’s not bad about you?” He gasped, making you smile and shake your head. “I’m joking, you’re amazing. The best.” He smiled, tucking a non-existing hair piece behind his ear, blushing. “I just don’t want to date right now.”
Donghyuck sighed, letting his head fall back on the armrest. “You’ve been saying that for months. I think you should give it a try. For me? I’ve been trying to get this promotion for months and you’re a great and beautiful woman, even if you reject him, he’ll be like—you set me up with someone way out of my league but I know it’s because you see me highly so I’ll help you with that promotion either way—ugh, I’m getting goosebumps just from thinking about it!”
You scrunched your face to not laugh and looked away. Dating. Something you haven’t done properly since Jake.
You tried it once, not because you thought “I have to move on from him” it was never that. Last year, Yunjin reconnected with a friend and thought you’d be a great match—Yeonjun, was his name, he was kind, really kind, but something wasn’t right. So you left the date, but the guy wasn’t mad, which made you feel more guilty and more like a bad person.
But maybe trying out again wouldn’t hurt. At least it would be a good distraction from whatever was stopping you from actually dating.
“Fine.”
Donghyuck’s eyes widened. “I’m not hallucinating, right? You just said ‘fine’?”
You nodded, making him get up and hug you—squeezed you, was more like it. You slapped him away, making him sit back down with a smile on his face. “He’s really nice, I swear. And he’s loaded.” You furrowed your eyebrows.
“What even is his name?”
“Uhh, we call him Jae from third floor.”
You rolled your eyes in defeat.
Other than Donghyuck and Yunjin—who was all up in your business when she caught you doing your make up and you had to tell her you were going on a date, no one knew what you were doing tonight. It had been one week since your best friend had set you up with one of his co-workers, you would be lying if you said you weren’t nervous, not just because this was your first date after whatever yunjin was trying to do with Yeonjun, but because you didn’t want to mess this up for Donghyuck. You were doing this for yourself but mainly for him.
It seemed like Donghyuck had suggested date ideas to his coworker, because no one knew you liked eating somewhere simple other than him and Jake. But here you were, eating tteokbokki with his coworker–Jaehyun, whilst talking about life.
He was an attractive guy, and like Donghyuck said– really kind.
“Is it fun being a teacher? I feel like I would be a terrible one.” He said as he stuffed his mouth with food. “I’m terrible at taking care of kids.”
You smiled and nodded, “I used to babysit all the time so I guess I grew into liking taking care of them. Besides, it’s a way of preparing myself for the future,” you shrugged casually, earning a small smile from him.
“You want kids?” He asked.
You played with your chopsticks and shrugged, “someday.”
Jaehyun chuckled, “weird question for a first date, but how many?”
You sighed and chuckled, “at least two. A girl and a boy.” You smiled to yourself, thinking about the future before looking at the guy in front of you. “What about you?”
“That’s up to my future wife to decide.”
You cackled, “that is a great answer.”
You both laughed, making Jaehyun sigh. “I can’t believe I’m at the age where talking about having kids is a short-term plan.” He commented then tilted his head to the side with a playful smile. “Well, you’re still pretty young, in comparison to me at least.”
“I guess…” you trailed off, eyes down on your food. “I’m sorry if this isn’t the date you got promised to have. It’s my first one in years so this is kind of new, in a way.” You confessed, earning a small shrug from him.
“It’s okay, we’re just getting to know each other right now. We don’t have to consider this a date unless you decide later on that you want to take this to another level.” You smiled sincerely, “besides, I could tell something was bothering you.” He admitted.
You looked at him in shame, “I really am sorry, it’s really just a me thing–”
“But you’re a nice girl.” he cut you off before you could continue, “I’m enjoying this either way. We can continue this as a friendly date.” He assured.
You bit your lip in embarrassment, “are you sure?” He nodded, stuffing his mouth with the tteokbokki then giving you a smile. You chuckled and sighed, “I don’t want you to think I only agreed to this date because of Donghyuck because a part of me did want to come but…you’ll still help him with the promotion thing, right?”
“I always planned on helping him, I made a joke about him having to set me up with someone in order to help him and I guess he took it seriously.” You gasped, covering your mouth, making him laugh at your reaction. “But you’re a great girl, so I don't regret a thing.” He reassured.
A few minutes later, the two of you finished your food and started walking around the street with a sweet treat in hand. You were close to the cemetery where your dad was, just a couple of streets away, you were talking about the future plans you both had for each other. Knowing you weren't talking about it as a future couple made it more comfortable.
That same night, after ending your supposed date with a kiss on the cheek and a friendly hug, you returned to your apartment with a very excited Yunjin who was waiting for you to come back.
“I couldn’t help but to stalk you in “find my phone”. Wait, why are you back? I thought you’d spend the night or something, was he a jerk? Do you want me to kill him?”
You snorted, taking your shoes off on the entrance before falling on the comfortable couch. “He was nice.”
Yunjin scrunched her face, “and?”
“Something’s wrong with me. He was so nice to me, and I definitely blew it.” You shook your head and opened your eyes when you felt the weight of the couch shift.
“Nothing’s wrong with you, babe. You’re just…not into him, and that’s okay.” You frowned at your best friend, “Besides, if he was nice then I’m sure he’s not going to hate you for “blowing it”.” She quoted, making you smile and sit back up.
“He did say we could consider this a friendly date instead.” You mentioned. She smiled at you, “but I don’t know. Being single at twenty-six wasn’t in my life plan, I was supposed to be engaged or to be engaged by now.”
Yunjin snorted. “First, you’re twenty-five–“
“—turning twenty six.”
She gasped, hitting your shoulder. “I’m twenty-six!” You giggled.
“Yeah, but you’re in a 3 year relationship. You don’t see yourself in the future with him already?” She froze, making you grin. “You do, don’t you?”
“Yeah, I do. But this isn’t about me.” She rolled her eyes, grabbing your hands. “You made that plan when you were a teenager, you can’t expect everything to go exactly the way you plan it, you know? Things can change any second.”
You exhaled loudly, “yeah but I don’t want to get married to a guy I’ve known for just a year or so.” You explained, “my dream was to marry the love of my life, someone who I’ve spent my whole life with.” You started playing with the ring in your necklace. “No offense to people who get married in their thirties but I want to have a family by the time I’m thirty, and that’s not going to work if I’m doing this.” You gestured at yourself.
“Babe, trust me when I say this,” she paused for a second. “You’re going to meet the love of your life when you least expect it, maybe you already know him or have crossed paths with.” She wiggled her eyebrows.
“Yeah well if you’re wrong, Donghyuck and I have to get married at 31 so .”
You both bursted into laughter, falling back to the couch.
Later that night, when you had both gone to “sleep”, you grabbed your phone and sighed, entering your best friend’s contact to start typing.

because you and jay didn't see each other since nearly three weeks, you send him a video, where you pleasured yourself. you just couldn't stand the missing intimacy, so you had to do it alone but you thought maybe you could at least share it to maybe help him too....
and that worked better than anything.... as jay saw the video of you, he couldn't resist and became immediately so freaking needy and desperate, that he jerked himself off with the toy you had gifted him before he left, while watching your video and came a big load of cum.
(guys, i'll try to do all your requests the next days, i'm working on it....dw)
