This is the cover for the seventh and last artbook, titled the Materials Collection volume. As you probably know, this volume features a few coloured illustrations along a much larger selections of character studies and sketches by Takeuchi; following that, the short story Parallel Sailor Moon is also present in this book for the first time (which makes it the only chapter of the manga to have premiered outside of a magazine).

Sailor Moon Inspiration:  Gianni Versace

Naoko Takeuchi was inspired by her love of couture fashion as there are many striking similarities to her work and runaway shows in the early 1990s. These are a few examples of her Sailor Moon artwork inspired by their masterpieces.
