She was very friendly for someone who didn’t know him. Almost like Naruto was with certain people as she asked what he was doing in Tokyo. It wasn’t like Naruto could tell her he was a shinobi from another world that was looking for hints of something being off.

“Well, to be honest, I’m a bit of a country bumpkin and never been to the city, and my parents offered to send me here to Tokyo so I could get it out my system and return to work once I was done,” Naruto said using that as his cover. It made perfect sense with the way he was dressed.

        “ oh ? well i hope you’ll have fun while you’re here ! the city is a pretty nice place . there’s lot of people to become friends with , lots and lots of shops to go .. well shopping ! and the food places are AMAZING ! ”   already she was treating him like a friend , something she always did . she saw no reason at all to treat someone like a stranger she’d never see again , but a friend she would want to meet again another day ! 

        “ though we are going through bad things right now . it’s always nice to warn someone right ? but don’t worry ! the sailor scouts have been protecting us since it started . so it’s safe to be out and about . but i’d keep a eye out okay ? ‘cause i sure don’t want anyone getting hurt !  ”

Instinct made Honey reach out to touch the rotating disk, but caution in the form of countless science teachers’ voices urged her fingers to curl back into her palm. The closest she’d ever come to seeing something remotely like it was–

“Plasma blades!” she says excitedly. She looks at Usagi, beaming. “They remind me of my friend’s plasma blades. Laser induced plasma, specifically. I guess like the lightsabers from Star Wars.” Honey chuffs a laugh. “They can cut through anything, but they’re limited to their power source. The crystal powers this? What kind of crystal is it? Do you know where it came from?”

A million and one questions jostled in her brain. She couldn’t think of anything tougher than diamond, nothing she’d ever read about anyway. A part of Honey felt compelled to ask Usagi if she could run tests on it, the part of her that wanted answers, but it was so inexplicably beautiful in its mysteriousness that it almost seemed…inappropriate. For now, at least.

        “ i ... i don’t really know ? it’s alien -- really . it’s old , powerful , stronger than diamond . there are only a few way’s you can destroy it though .. i’d rather not mention it . it’s my power -- so you know , if it gets destroyed i don’t know what would happen ... ”   that was a lie , she knew -- if the crystal was ever destroyed she’d die . that was something she didn’t want to admit so she’d keep quiet about it .   “ there’s a lot of different things i can do though , i have a wand , i can fly somewhat . jump higher than a normal human . only when TRANSFORMED though -- civilian wise i’m still ... y’know , normal . ”

Zen became accustomed to such an ambiguous schedule long ago, although it still allows for difficulty in awakening after a night of restless sleep. Regardless, every job has its downsides, and that’s simply the unfortunate aspect of his. Still, the small grin playing across his lips widened somewhat at the blonde’s laughter in response to his reply.

“I try to eat healthy, but a milkshake sounds kind of perfect after a busy day. Can you tell me where to get a good one of those, too?”A laugh of his own escaped him. “I’m sorry. I’m treating you like my personal tour guide.”

        “ ah -- i care ! i mean , i care about my friends lives like that so why shouldn’t i care about others ? heh ! it sounds really hard i don’t think i could do it , i can hardly get up in time for school ! ”   which was the truth , she was almost always late to class . though she had her reasons , she’d rather not mention them to a stranger so she’s quick to adapt to the new topic : MILKSHAKES ! 

        “ oh i don’t mind ! , and the place i’m taking you actually , they have the best of everything . milkshakes , pastry treats , food , you name it ! not to mention the people there are just the nicest . ”

There was a curious blink at the request. Ha–considering you attempted baking with her that…well, it’s probably improved a little by now? Hopefully.

‘ so you wanna make dinner for your family then Usagi?’

You knew a good couple of simplified recipes that would work. Some required very little stove use.

        “  just something simple , to make up for worrying them so much ? i’ve been able to make really simple things -- but i still have a problem with overcooking or burning it sometimes ... ”   she had actually been working on being able to cook . starting small with things that didn’t need to be cooked for so long . they won’t the best things in the world but -- they were editable and actually tasted nice.
