i’m an artist! technically. and a writer, also technically. but what i’m most decidedly is someone with the worlds largest TING intrest, which is why i created this blog in the first place, let alone came back to it several months later

so really if i follow you i either a) adore your content, b) saw that you once posted something even vaguely related to TING, or c) some combination of both!! because honestly everyone in this fadom’s cool as hell

Summary: A terrible earthquake leaves Aperture Science in near ruins. Where strong panels once laid, silently supporting their boss, now lay broken pieces of metal and stone, if anything at all.

After both take extensive damage during the disaster, GLaDOS and Wheatley emerge from sleep mode only to find themselves in a waking nightmare: They are bound together, forced to live off of each other’s working parts in place of their own failed hardware until replacements can be obtained – if they can at all, that is.

Now trapped together in their new role as Aperture’s Central Cores and with Chell nowhere to be found, GLaDOS and Wheatley must overcome their chasm of differences in order to survive everything that the crumbling facility can – and will – throw at them. It won’t be easy – GLaDOS and Wheatley are certainly in no rush to get along – but through necessity and inevitably forged camaraderie, they might not only be able to find value beyond pure survival in their unwitting companion’s presence, but also bring out the best in each other and themselves. And if they can do that, well…who knows what else they can find together, too?

I'm REALLY tired of the dark "aliens are evil" stories.

"Aliens think we are food" this. "Aliens think we're a plague" that. And the "aliens are so much smarter and think us as puny ants" this and that.

I especially hate the "aliens are ugly monsters" part. Like, propaganda much?

At least some of us -I mean them! Some of THEM aren't evil. In fact! Very (and I mean VERY) few of them are truly bad creatures.

Where's our "aliens are good" this? And our "aliens are actually really impressed by human understanding of space despite early stages of galactic travel" that? And maybe a little "haha, once you get used to it, aliens are kinda cute" this and that?
