Objectively I had THE WORST week of this year just crash into me like a fucking truck.
it is all started when I went inside my pc to swap thermal paste inside my GPU and ended up with me reinstalling windows FIVE times.
You see, I have build my pc myself. In a long run this is the most optimal variant. Upgrading part by part usually the best way to go about it. Usually. Last time I swapped thermal paste inside my PC was before Christmas, and Lord knows it should be fine for about six or seven months. but my GPU (??????????) started overheating whenever I played anything. i am sorry but why did my hotspot was 104 Celsius (219 for those who use freedom units) while I opened Deadlock OF ALL GAMES?
My pc was suffering a stroke, a seizure, an organ failure. I took it to heart. And I went in with thermal paste. I opened my GPU to see how is she doing and it was FLAKEY. Girlie was dry as desert and needed care of my gentle hands.
I really had to clean all of this away then re apply new thermal paste. After that I noted an improvement. I still was getting a horrible performance in a few games so I set out for maybe my biggest mistake of that week.
I changed thermal paste on my CPU. And in a normal circumstances this would be easy go in and out. She aint that hard to swap. Honestly, if you don't have liquid cooling, it is all good. I didn't expect my PC all of a sudden to forget my PIN after I boot it up. There. I sat in disbelief. I couldn't log in. Bitch? TF?
I had to make a new microsoft profile to get back into my pc because microsoft disable sms services for 2FA and I wanted to cry. lowkey I did a little. And when I was back into the system, finally, I realised I had to reinstall my GPU drivers and they gave an error. My drivers were not compatible with my system... aka. windows 10 was officially dead
There, another mistake of that week.
I started reading bible that day on my phone and the daily verse was from Lucas 6:7 which said
"with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men"
please, I was over this at this point. I think I held myself together only because I had some understanding, screaming, crying and throwing up wont do any good to me or the situation. Crying won't help. So I gritted my teeth and installed windows 11. Damn, I hate you microsoft.
I should've learn coding and embrace linux, maybe that would've made me smarter.
Everything is well that ends well. I have my PC working nicely, my GPU and CPU working better than ever and I think I gained an ability to never get raige-baited after this truly an amazing experience.
