Tropes to expect from my stories.
Love at first sight - This is my most used trope that is the most visible considering over the majority of my stories are AU's. I adore this trope as i do believe sub-consciously Wednesday and Enid fell for each other upon meeting.
Self-Sacrifice - Nothing says i love you more than self-sacrifice or the willingness to do so, enough said.
AU's - My favourite type of story to write, as much as i do love canon, nothing beats dropping the characters into another universe or changing something in canon to alter the story. "I crawled my way out of Hell for you" changes something in canon whilst "Clear are thy eyes and bright as breath" is set in Middle-Earth. "She is mine" and "To Conquer the Darkness" are Post-Season 1 Etc.
Supernatural/Angels/Demons - Another favourite to write. "I crawled my way out of Hell for you" is the clear example here of Wednesday being a Demon/Fallen Angel. Whilst i never intended for the story to expand the way it did, the overwhelming response i got from that story gave me the confidence to go the route i did. It became my most read, most loved, most commented story ever and i will forever be honoured that it got as popular as it did.
Mate-Bonds and Scenting - I love both writing this trope and reading it, especially scenting. Scenting is a concept that has such an intimacy about it and i find it usually results in a protective/possessive Enid and i love it.
Making Xavier the bad guy - I hate the guy. Both actor and character. Percy is a weasel in real life considering how many girls have come forward about him and Xavier's entire character is "Wednesday like me wahhh" So yeah... he more or less ends being the bad guy and a prick to boot Lmao.
Autistic Wednesday - Not so much a trope than a personal head canon - I write from Wednesday's POV more often than not because i believe she is Autistic but undiagnosed. As an aspie myself i find it easier to write from her POV because of a similar mindset. I don't write ADHD Enid because i don't know enough about it to write it accurately or well.
Plot and Fluff with an antagonist. - I am unable to write long stories without one. Same goes for a good fight.
Dark Themes - I sometimes deal with dark themes such as thinking about suicide and Torture (The torture if justified though), child neglect is another in Enid's case.
Two girls, One bed and Cuddling for Warmth - Speaks for itself. I'll edit this list if i think of any others.
