I just want to say when Ilya says "Okay" after Shane says don't marry Svetlana and that they can figure it out, I don't think he believed Shane. Since hes always the one figuring things out in his life and no one has thought of him like that before. But then Shane wakes him up with his whole plan and Ilya realizes he was actually serious. That shit hit him like a ton of bricks, so much so that he couldn't hold back anymore.
