Facts don't care about your feelings....unless if it's the Krittika native's feelies.

Krittika is the third nakshatra out of twenty-seven. Located on the cusp between Mars-ruled Aries and Venus-ruled Taurus, its deity is (fittingly) Agni, the Hindu God of Fire, who is considered second only to Indra and a personification of the sacrificial fire (Britannica). The first hymn in the Rigvedia is devoted to Agni, referring to him as the "minister of sacrifice, the [perfect] sacrifice...sapient-minded Priest." Fittingly enough, Krittika's symbol is the knife or flame, and its shakti is to burn and purify.

Now, this nakshatra, when it manifests in evil ass politicians, is particularly insidious---especially when it comes to the Far-Right Griftersphere and violent revolutionaries. Krittika evil politicians tend to be known for their 'cutting' (read: bigoted, cruel) speech. The cisgender men in particular, often use their public presence to enforce traditional gender roles; I chalk this up to the priestliness inherent in this nakshatra through its deity literally ruling over the sacrificial fire and its varna (caste) being of the Brahmin (Priestly) caste.

Now, I want to mention that I am against casteism and all types of prejudicial thinking. Varna is only mentioned here to explain why Krittika politicians have a superiority-inferiority complex worse than your schoolyard bully.

Let's start with one of the most famous right-wing grifters in existence, Ben Shapiro, who has his ASC in Krittika:

Ben Shapiro is a [notorious] right-wing commentator who was one of the figureheads of 2010s millennial conservative men who got all soggy-faced and teary at the sight of a nonwhite person on the television screen.

He claims that 'facts don't care about your feelings' and then proceeds to use multiple factitious claims whenever it is convenient (especially when it comes to gender and sexuality). It does not help that, like the nakshatra literally named "the cutters" in Sanskrit, he utilizes inflammatory, derogatory, and bigoted speech to gain notoriety after his stunt as a failed Hollywood actor.

Two other notable right-wing commentators, who are all cishet men who have beef with people who look or live differently from them [and all subscribe to rigid interpretations of Abrahamic religions], have this nakshatra in their big 3:

Tucker Carlson (Krittika Sun and Moon) and Jordan Peterson (Krittika ASC).

Now, onwards to the more interesting and less pathetic manifestation of Krittika in politicians: revolutionaries. Krittika's power to burn and purify often manifests in politics among revolutionary ideologues and figures who seek to destroy crumbling systems and to fight against injustice [a common one is anti-imperialism].

Yes, I know it is a bit off-topic for evil ahh politicians because you could argue many of these individuals were not actually evil; in fact, many revolutionaries have done great things. But I wanted to talk about this pattern among politicians with this nakshatra in their big three so I will insert it here.

This nakshatra was surprisingly present among revolutionary political figures, especially those who are known for their harsh, cutting speech, such as...

Che Guevara, Krittika Sun:

Che Guevara was a communist revolutionary and one of the figureheads of the Cuban Communist Revolution. While he is generally remembered as a figure of social justice and anti-imperialism (he isn't wrong to be against imperialism), it is important to note that during his lifetime, he committed numerous human rights abuses and oversaw multiple executions at the La Cabana Prison, of traitors and deserters to the cause. He was also a racist and homophobe who used his power to persecute LGBTQ+ individuals and marginalized minorities. Two things can be true at once: he liberated many people and hurt others.

Other notable revolutionary figures with this nakshatra in their big three include:

George Washington, first President of the United States, who participated in the American Revolutionary War against Great Britain: Krittika ASC.

Juan Peron, former President of Argentina, who participated as a revolutionary in the 1943 Argentine Revolution, which overthrew Ramon Castillo, had Krittika Moon.

Augusto Cesar Sandino, founder of the Nicaraguan revolutionary militant group EDSN, had Krittika Sun.

The Nakshatras as Evil Ahh Politicians PART 3: BHARANI, the Econ Bro

Unlike the previous two nakshatras I covered in this series, Bharani isn't tied to a specific ideology; at least, not to the same extent as Rohini and Chitra were. I found Bharani communists, liberals, socialists, etc. As a result, this was a much harder article to write because I had to brainstorm what patterns there were among many different types of politicians.

Bharani is ruled by the deity Yama, the Hindu God of Death and Justice (Dharma), who is the progenitor of the human race and casts judgment upon the souls of the deceased. He is a staunch enforcer of Dharma and has often been depicted with weapons such as a noose or a mace. Bharani's shakti, Apabharani Shakti, is the power to take things away by the removal of life from the body and then carrying souls to the realm of the ancestors ("Shaktis of the Nakshatras," American Institute of Vedic Studies).

In the case of an evil politician with this nakshatra, they cast their judgmental eye against 'the poors', 'the welfare state', 'regulation', [insert excuse to hate on the marginalized], etc. One thing Bharani politicians will do is to take away wealth from the middle and lower classes.

As a nakshatra associated with the planet Venus, it is deeply concerned with money and resources, specifically, how resources are distributed among society...ECONOMICS. If it isn't economics, then Bharani is concerned with how power is distributed among society....POLITICAL SCIENCE.

Anecdotal experience: when I was studying for a BA in Economics, I was meeting Bharani natives left and right. The ones who sucked ass at math went into PoliSci while the ones who were math geeks went into philosophy or economics. Absolute cinema.

However, one ideology that particularly seems to attract Bharani (and the Ketu nakshatra trine as well) is...NEOLIBERALISM.

Bharani is a nakshatra that is extremely concerned with a state's economic status and in an evil ass politician....fucking it up in the long-term is what occurs.

Let's start with the most notorious Bharani evil ass politician to ever gain power: Ronald Reagan, former U.S. President (1980-1989). He had Moon in Bharani.

Reagan transformed American economic policies during his tenure as President, along with the political order prior to him. He cracked down on welfare programs and government spending; a staunch follower of deregulation and privatization, his trickle-down economic policies have led to the sharp rise in wealth inequality within American society.

Bharani is one of the most recurring nakshatras in neoliberal politicians, philosophers, and intellectuals. Something about privatization and extreme deregulation makes the natives of this asterism thirsty bitches.

Other notable Bharani neolibs include:

Friedrich Hayek, Bharani Sun and possible Moon (though Ashwini is more likely to be his Moon placement but that's for another article):

One of the most, if not the most, influential economists of the twentieth century, Friedrich Hayek, had Sun in this asterism. Hayek was one of the major figures in the second wave of neoliberalism, an economic philosophy touted by figures such as Reagan and Thatcher in the 1980s. A fierce advocate for classical liberalism, limited government, and radical individualism. According to Hayek, the welfare state would inevitably lead to totalitarianism.

Why is he evil, you'd ask? Wasn't he just an academic writing research papers in an ivory tower? Well, no. If you think that academia has no impact on politics, then you are sorely wrong. Extremely wrong.

Friedrich Hayek was a supporter and advisor to none other than dictator Augusto Pinochet of Chile. This included economic policies which directly caused the Economic Crisis of 1982 in Chile. Despite the neoliberal policies endorsed by Pinochet and the cabal of economists who don't go outside 90% of the year, unemployment skyrocketed to 20% of Chile's population, GDP fell by 14%, and deepened wealth inequality within Chile. Still to this day, Chile struggles with high levels of wealth inequality and marginalization of the lower classes. The top 1% of Chileans earn about a quarter of total income and own 50% percent of all wealth in Chile (Lecaros, et.al. "Inequality in Chile: Perceptions and Patterns).

A non-neoliberal example of evil ass politicians of this nakshatra is...

Antonio Salazar, Bharani Sun:

Former Prime Minister of Portugal, he was also a legit economist and professor of political economy. Very Bharani of him.

During his tenure as Portugal's Minister of Finance along with his reign as Prime Minister, he radically transformed its economy through austerity policies. While he did accomplish positive feats such as a government budget surplus in his earlier years, he ended up leaving his citizens poorer than their neighbors, along with wasting time holding onto colonies in Africa and maintaining staggeringly high illiteracy rates in Portugal.

Salazar was also...a corporatist. He believed tehat organizing society into organized social groups. Class conflict will be eradicated as all social classes will live in harmony with each other. In practice, this just ended up marginalizing the poor. Yet again.

Here is a direct quote from him: "I do not believe in equality, I believe in hierarchy." (What an asshole).

Conclusion:

Having Bharani in your big 3 does not make you as evil as any of these people listed above. We all have agency and free will in our own lives. Plenty of great Bharani natives out there.

Many articles make similar claims to those above. However, much of this information circulates without a clear source, and I have struggled to find reputable/high level sources for some of this information. Therefore, keep in mind that some of this may be exaggerated or potentially unreliable.

Obviously, I cannot account for the sexual of history of every human who has ever lived, but evidence does suggest that Victor Hugo had a… lively sex life.

From Medium: ‘Sex was so involved in Hugo’s daily life that one biographer wrote the following while describing a typical day in Hugo’s life:

“It was not unusual for him to make love to a young prostitute in the morning, an actress before lunch, a courtesan as an aperitif, and then join the also ­indefatigable Juliette for a night of sex.”

[…] Hugo claimed that on the wedding night, he and his wife had sex nine times.’

His encoded sex diary is referenced on Wikipedia, but when I found an English translation of the source, I couldn’t find where in it they were sourcing.

His ‘official mistress’ is likely in reference to Juliette Drouet.

I have found articles that circulate the ‘200’ claim, but none that give a source for the information.

The claim that brothels were closed on the day of his funeral is again circulated frequently without claim. The only sourced part of the claim I can find is a second hand report that sex workers had 'draped their gentials in black crepe’.

From The Guardian: ’[…] when Hugo died the brothels of Paris closed down for a day of mourning, allowing all the city’s sex workers to pay their last respects to a loyal client. Literary critic Edmond de Goncourt claimed a police officer told him that sex workers even draped their genitals in black crepe as a mark of respect.’

And an estimated 2 million people attended his funeral procession.

The Nakshatras as Evil Ahh Politicians PART TWO: CHITRA, the Tyrant

If there is one nakshatra I could refer to as 'the Tyrant Nakshatra', if there ever really is one (honestly, I don't think so. Evil does not discriminate by birth charts), it would be CHITRA.

Ruled by the deity Vishwakarma, Chitra's symbols include a bright jewel and a pearl. Vishwakarma is an artisan, patron to all craftsmen and the architect of the gods. Fitting with these themes, Chitra's shakti (power) is to accumulate merit in life, resulting in gaining honor from one's own work. Well, how does this translate in the modern world? It's not always benevolent....actually, the dark side of this nakshatra is absolutely horrific. I'm not exaggerating here when I say that this one nakshatra DOMINATES among politicians in general---especially those who commit mass atrocities against humanity.

Chitra, in a more negative sense, can invoke a perfectionism oriented towards others, a desire to craft their ideals into the world. Chitra natives are deeply passionate about how society should be run and enforced. While this isn't bad by itself, in an evil politician, it can lead to an attraction towards brutal, systematic violence enacted against opponents along with adopting ideologies which (1) justify this use of violence to maintain power above all else, and (2) venerate the leader's own demographics (ethnicity, race, religion, culture, etc.) as superior to outsiders.

One example of Chitra's love for tyrannical behavior is Idi Amin, former President of Uganda from 1971-1979, who had Moon in this asterism. During his regime, he committed ethnic cleansing of the Indian minority within Uganda, seized power through a military coup (supported by Is***l), waged war against Tanzania, and persecuted numerous other minorities within Uganda. Political opponents were brutally murdered; some were thrown into the Nile River.

Amassing terrifyingly high death counts seem to be favorite activities for the evil politicians of this nakshatra, once they reach a certain amount of political power.

Moving past Idi Amin, other notable evil ass politicians with Chitra in their big 3 include:

Adolf Hitler (ASC), who seized power in Germany and proceeded to cause WW2 and the Holocaust, one of the worst genocides in human history.

Joseph Stalin, possible Chitra Moon, a ruthless, brutal dictator who ruled the Soviet Union with an iron fist. His collectivization efforts resulted in the ethnic cleansing of numerous minority groups such as Kazakhs and Ukrainians within the USSR.

Ivan the Terrible (Moon), the first Tsar of Russia, who committed violent purges such as the Massacre of Novgorod with his secret police, the Oprichniki.

Benjamin Netanyahu (Sun and Moon), current Prime Minister of Israel. Enough said.

(I want to add another pattern: paranoia. In their later lives, these evil ahh politicians become paranoid and end up decimating even their once-closest allies, their inner circle, in an attempt to keep power).

To less...examples among "democratic" countries, we have Woodrow Wilson (ASC), who believed in ideas of racial purity; he was a staunch white supremacist who viewed black people as inferior. During his term as U.S. President, he segregated the U.S. post office and many other federal buildings alongside showing support for the Ku Klux Klan.

Now, I want to add: plenty of Chitra natives are not like this. Having Chitra in your big 3 does not make you evil. Committing evil acts makes you evil. This series is just to explore patterns among evil ahh politicians and the darkest sides of nakshatras. In this case, Chitra happened to have a very ghastly dark side shown through these evil pieces of shit I have described in this article.
