Lab:time video: Rhythm and hand to hand
As part of Lab:time, our programme for innovation and experimentation in Circus Arts, duet performers Nikki and JD along with another duet pair spent time in our Creation Studio researching rhythm with hand to hand.
Through Lab:time individual artists and companies are able to secure research and development time at the National Centre for Circus Arts as well as small but significant amounts of seed funding to support the first stages of exploration.
Find out more about Lab:time here.
Acrobatics
To celebrate our first ever Acrobatic Symposium this year, here are some beautiful bertilnilsson photographs of our Higher Education then-students.
The Acrobatic Symposium - Acrobatics: Anatomy and Approach - is a two-day symposium to connect acrobatics, performance and health. It is relevant for circus artists of all kinds, as well as dancers, gymnasts… anyone who uses their body for performance.
Tickets for the Acrobatic Symposium: 31 October - 1 November 2015 at the National Centre for Circus Arts, London, UK.
