Words were muttered weakly as pale hands quickly moved
to cover a pale face, long purple locks would droop over the
petite imp’s features as she shook her head.
’ I know falling in love with you…. was risky… ‘
The imp would then add, crimson optics
gazing directly into the undines blue ones.
’ —-But…. But most of all…. it was unfair to you…. ‘
’ I never meant to…. get you this involved
in all this, with me, y’know? ‘
’ So… I’m sorry for that, Asuna-Chan… Because…. ‘
A short pause was then made, hands balling
into fists, nails digging against flesh as optics quickly closed.
’ Soon.. Soon I’ll be gone…. ‘
’ Can you ever forgive me, Asuna-Chan? ‘
Tears roll down her cheeks as azure hues fall down, avoiding the imp's gaze as she raises a hand to quickly wipe away droplets. A small head shake in response, lips pressing together as she tries her best to speak.
"Yuuki.... Please-- Please, don't say such things...!"
Gaze slowly raises to meet the other girl's, a new found determination brimming in them that hadn't been there a moment ago.
"I was the one who followed you, who chased after you. You didn't involved
me in anything. And, Yuuki.... Please, don't be sad because of me. Because--
Because I...."
A hesitant step froward, followed by another, until she's close enough to reach her-- taking a hand in both of her own, and lifting it up to her lips. She smiles brightly, tears still trailing her cheeks before planting a gentle kiss against the other's hand.
"I don't regret meeting you, Yuuki. There's nothing to forgive you for, Yuuki.
Even if it was painful, I'm glad I was able to meet you. So, please... don't be
sad. Especially on my account...."
