This is the final battle of the Heroic Wanderer. If my party setup series can somehow help you clear the realms, that would make me really happy.

Now when I think about it, you only need the Aesir Progenitor (Asgard) and Human Progenitor (Yggdrasil) to clear the realms, so the best advice is to invest in those two first.

I’m not really into using Collab heroes like Beryl or Uzen; I prefer sticking with the original heroes, but I guess I just have to make do with what I’ve got. If you missed the collabs and don’t have those heroes/collab gears, please check out other references in Discord server for inspiration.

Lif Phantasmal EX-5 (Auto) Party Setup

Here’s my party setup for the Lif Phantasmal CB to farm Lif Awakening Runes. It also works for the currently running Lapis Lazuli Feast CB (July 2026 with Jubilant Fimafeng as the boss), albeit with gear changes while keeping the same hero lineup.

So far with this party, I’ve crawled through Lif Awakening to level 14. The rune drops have been awful (but they do dropped!).

Why is Darklight Dis, an old and outdated hero, in the party? Well, I saw someone use him, and when my setup teams kept on failing, I added him out of desperation - and surprisingly, it worked! His effectiveness comes from his Rune Chain, which targets Ranged heroes. I used to run Resplendent Skuld to complement Resplendent Hel - it also kinda worked but slower and hardly any runes ever dropped. Yet with this guy, the drops seem to come much more often. It’s such a mystery… (>_<)

⚠️ The team also requires Dark element Progenitors (such as Jotun Progenitor - Jotunheim, or Celestial Progenitor - Ginnungagap) as Leader. Here in my party, I use good old man Jotunheim.

My Darklight Dis is still graded Red. I was worried he’d be defeated instantly, but somehow he isn’t... This is also the first time I’ve used him in any battles.

As I dove into the latest scenario, Yggdrasil Sonnets of a Lover, my heart raced with pure excitement at the mere thought of Lord Odin making his entrance. It felt like ages since he appeared in any scene, and the anticipation of his return had me on the edge of my seat, filled with both nostalgia and joy. 🥹🥰

Elisil here really captured the feelings of my lovesick heart. I felt completely called out:

Honestly, while I was really glad to see him again, part of me kinda wishes Ateam would just let him fade from their thoughts so there’s no chance of another version of him being released. If that happened, I’d be right back in the same stressed-out state I was in before especially after the surprise release of Parallel Odin on last April that nearly gave me a heart attack. The idea of dealing with yet another Odin is last thing I need right now...

Just knowing he’s been doing well and having a great time traveling is more than enough for me.

Ateam, if you happen to see this post, thank you for bringing comfort to my lonely heart with this scenario.

Even though we've never spoken directly, your presence here has always been a source of encouragement to me in ways you might not even realize. Ever since my first vent post here - the one I thought no one would notice and no one would care about - but you did.

I don't think you realize how much your kindness has meant to me.

Most of the time, I use VC as an excuse to keep existing. It's so easy to give up on life, but… if someone like you exists somewhere in the world, I think I can try to be a little more positive and keep trying to live in this world.

to be honest, the reason i've staying in valkyrie connect instead of gong to some bigger fandom is- it may reach less people. but the people who do want to see it, it's going to matter to them a lot more.

Venting while crying inside...

⚠️ Vent post ahead 🌧️🌧️🌧️

After the Chained Soldier collaboration, the VC app suddenly disappeared from my country’s App Store. I could no longer update the app, which means I can no longer play the game. The same thing happened on Google Play. On both platforms, my country was blocked - no prior notice, no explanation. It felt like we were silently erased, as if our existence as players simply did not matter.

I keep wondering whether this decision is ultimately about money.

When I used to purchase items in the in-game shop, prices were displayed in my local currency. I paid the exchange rate, I paid taxes, and of course, platform fees were included. So I keep asking myself: was it truly that difficult to continue supporting this region?

And then I think of the The Official Charge Store - a direct purchasing system outside of Google Play and Apple. When players buy through the app stores, a percentage of revenue goes to Google or Apple. When they buy through the official store, the company keeps nearly all of it. From a business perspective, it makes sense.

So part of me suspects this regional block may be a deliberate move to push players toward the official store instead - maximizing profit by cutting out platform fees. I may be wrong. This is only speculation. But when a region is quietly removed from platform stores while direct purchase channels continue to be promoted, it is difficult not to wonder about the reasoning behind it.

Other players in my region may accept this and find workarounds to continue playing. It's just a game, they say. I could do the same. But for me, it feels different. I have been with this game for many years. I invested not just money, but time, effort, dedication and affection. I have put a part of [myself] into it, perhaps a little too much.

And when this happened so suddenly, without acknowledgment, it felt like something inside me collapsed. Not just access to a game - but a piece of meaning that had quietly lived in my life for years. It was one of the few small sparks of excitement that broke through the darkness of my insomnia and depression.

All of this, right before the 10th Anniversary…

I’m still trying to swallow this feeling. Maybe this is disappointment, but it feels so much like grief.

About Connect Battle Pass

Today, I’d like to share my experience with the Connect Battle Pass so other players can be aware before purchasing.

The Connect Battle Pass is a feature that lets players automatically replay Connect Battles and restore 1,000 stamina each day within the Pass’s time limits.

I started using this feature in October this year and find it super convenient, especially when handling the Ranking Connect Event, which takes a lot of time and stamina.

In my 2 previous purchases, the Pass lasted around 14 days, so I assumed the duration would stay the same. However, on my latest renewal (December 1st), I found out that the Pass was only usable for 3 days instead of 14 days as usual.

I assumed it was a bug, so I reached out to Support, and they replied: [Please note that the "Connect Battle Pass" can only be used during the designated time frame, regardless of the purchase date. The 14-day period is not guaranteed. The above specifications are listed under "Help > Connect Battle Pass," so please take a look. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the confusing specifications.]

This means that, for example, if the Pass runs from Dec 4th to Dec 18th and I purchase it on Dec 10th, I can only use it for about 8–9 days instead of the full 14. When renewed, it doesn’t reset for another 14 days (like a subscription to Spotify or Google One) but is counted from the set time frame (Dec 4th - Dec 18th). In other words, I completely misunderstood its availability.

6. I decided to ask for a refund, and here’s how they responded:

[We regret to inform you that we are unable to offer refunds for items that have been properly reflected. Therefore, we deeply apologize, but we are unable to accommodate your request. Your understanding in this matter is much appreciated.]

Since Support wouldn’t help with the refund, I turned to Google Pay for assistance (as I made the purchase through them), but they also rejected my refund request because [it didn’t meet their policy].

Since I used the Pass feature on the day I bought it (Dec 1st), I knew a refund wasn’t possible - it’s fair, considering I’d already used it, or in their words: [items that have been properly reflected]. I just wanted to see how they handled customer service. 😑

7. I’m sharing this so others can double-check the duration carefully to avoid unexpected issues like mine.

This experience was a letdown for me, and I can only blame my own poor judgment. I don’t think I’ll be buying the Pass again in the future.
