It feels a little embarassing, having to train all over again. But she would rather be here than in the cities where a single slip of tongue would give her odd looks and muttered comments. Alicia was so used to the goddess dwelling inside her, and when they were separated, even though she felt empty, she did get a little used to the silence too. Now she doesn't know what she's used to. Maybe she's regressing...

Stretching her arms a little, weary from her travels, she is along the outskirts of the vicinity when she notices the presence of another, a boy, probably a year or two younger than herself—

looking around the vast plains, the princess almost didn't notice the woman she had been teleported with. at least, until said woman opened her mouth.

a swift hand immediately fell to the hilt of her blade.

"hmph. just don't hold me back."

she unsheathed her long sword, and spotting a nearby slime, her feet carry her with haste, a determination the porcelain girl's face that shifted ever so slightly.

( alicia... this is your battle. the rest is up to you. )

"i know."

the silver shine of her blade reflected in the sunlight as it cut through the grass, and with an upward thrust, the long sword digged into the dirt and sliced through her opponent. another swing. then another. and another. the slime swiped back, knocking her down with its substance. annoyance crept along alicia's face. she felt wet and icky... but she can't lose just yet. a few more hacks and slashes, and the final swing does its trick. her sword cut the watery creature in twain, the top half sliding off of the bottom before both parts disappear altogether.

one down. four more to go. lifting up her head, she turned towards the woman from before and inhaled a breath. the other might have been crude... but right now, they needed each other.

"my name is alicia. for as long as we're here, let us work together."
