Tennocon Brysko/Tau Reviews

I shitpost about loving gambling a lot, but I actually genuinely hate doing it anywhere outside of games, so seeing that we have Sentient Tau gambling is hitting me with some scissor me timbers levels of excitement. Not only that, but the one we're doing it as is a smoking Noir detective wandering the streets of a Bio/Cyberpunk city? It's a damn match made in some upper epsilon of heaven that I never thought existed. Brysko looks like such a genuinely amazing and fantastic Warframe to play, the card throws, the revolver that I'm assuming is an exalted weapon, he canonically fucks, the fact that he has an inner monologue voiced by Matt Mercer??? DE cooks a lot, and I sing their praises way more then I've sung the praises of any other company, right now I'm hitting one hell of a high note. I cannot wait for this update, Brysko is absolutely becoming a new main of mine, and I am 100% spending way too much time gambling my savings away.

Tennocon Day 2 Review

Genuinely peak reveals all the way around. The whole Soulframe segment was genuinely such a fantastic experience to have, I already adored the bit of story we have so far so getting to see even more made me so immensely excited. And that Tau reveal ohhhhhhh myyyyyyy. Brysko is such a fantastic idea for a Warframe, this dude smokes, gambles, and has Matt Mercer as an inner monologue? Yes please!!! I cannot wait for this stuff to come out. Also it was so great seeing that Rebb was able to make it to the convention!

Tennocon Day 1 Review

Yippe yahooy!!! What a wondrous experience this was! There was a lot of line standing but holay molay was it a good time. The cosplay concert was a really fun watch, and the concert, HOLLLLAAAYYYYYYYYYYY. I need to go to more concerts now that was such a blast. I’m super hyped for tomorrow, can’t wait to see the Narrative Panel especially. Oh also I saw the guys from Payday and got a huge ass Soulframe tapestry. Also saw a fuck ass bird.

Applegreen Rest Stop Review

Dubious yet wonderful, it had a peculiar farmers market next to it that took us by surprise. A good bathroom and some solid snack choices. I almost bought a tuna fish croissant but it was 11 dollars and 600 calories.

Overall a 7/10 would rest stop again eventually.

The Goated Canada Trip

I’m like hi what’s up hello! Me and some buddies are going to Canada for Tennocon and I just tanked the first 6 hours entirely solo to pick them up. Dreaming in D&D

Me and some friends have been doing a campaign and I absolutely love that our DM has us roll to dream during long rests. 1-5 is bad, 6-10 is meh, etc etc. It is honestly so much fun to just have some super random dream.

My character is some hellishly old wizard, so far he's dreamed of a joyous party, losing his magic, his wife dying, and being butt-booty-ass naked in public. Truly a wonder to have such freedom in this world.

Oh boy oh boy! Job scams!!!!

So here's how it goes right now. I'm fresh out of college (yippee yahoo good for me!) and holayy molayyyy am I broke and jobless.

"No problems," I says, as I continue what I've been doing since march (sending out job applications). So I apply, and send, and apply, and send, and apply a bit more (and I possibly even send little bit too). It's an endless spiral and I have hit one hell of a groove.

So, fast forward a few months and a couple hundred applications later, I actually hear back from one that isn't just a rejection! Yippee yahooy at long last a job is coming my way! So I'm all sorts of excited, I'm talking with the representative, things are going well and they email me something peculiar.

Alarms are SCREAMING I am so beyond suspicious right now, and so I do deeper research aaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnndddddddddddddddddd....

Whole things a divinely damned check scam to steal 2000 bucks from me.

Why do people do that??? Why do you look a broke college graduate, and go "oh boy oh boy! I gotta scam this loser!" The job market is so beyond obliterated and it is HORRID.

I can't get jobs at divine damned retail stores because I'm "overqualified", entry level jobs require 3-5 years of experience, the only place that interviews me is a scam. Like what the hell?????

I'm going to explode I swear.
