Imagining that tfp megatron is actually more tolerable to be around when he's pregnant (preggatron?). He's too locked into mommy mode to be devious and so starscream begs optimus to keep that mech knocked tf up. Starscream lies and says that keeping megatron pregnant helps keep the peace because yada yada ya. And while optimus would never admit it, he actually considers it. Doesn't help that megatron makes a remarkably beautiful carrier.

I agree... no more war if he's too busy caring for babies (and himself). He doesn't even have the energy to be mean if he's busy focusing on other stuff... but Optimus is busy and doesn't have time to keep fooling around with Megatron. Once is enough, thank you very much. That is, of course, until next time. Because we all know it's happening again.

So with what you write, curious, would you be okay with a Predaking x Ultra Magnus, in the Transformers: Prime universe, with UM being knocked up and bred while also Predaking taking such gentle care of Ultra Magnus even when his baby bump starts to limit his movement and messing with emotions and PK being able to satisfy Ultra Magnus in just every way possible? Sorry if I ranted a bit, I just felt like I should ask. Also, I don't know if you'd figure it out, but UM and PK are initials for Ultra Magnus and Predaking. Sorry if I bothered you, again, I just wanted to ask

I think that Predaking would actually be pretty protective of Ultra Magnus, like a mama gator and her nest (fun fact: mama gators will sometimes stay on their nest and not move until their babies hatch iirc). And nobody’s going to mess with a big, fire-breathing predacon, I know I wouldn’t. Magnus has to keep convincing Predaking that he knows what he’s doing and can take care of himself, he was Optimus’s second in command after all.

It is nice to be taken care of, though. He needs to be bullied into relaxing every now and again.

I'm so weak thinking about Rodiminimegs sparklings. My shaaaaaylaaaa!

Rodimus just dotes on carrier Minimus so much. He hates menial work, but he's always willing to take on his conjunx's work to let him rest his eyes and relax. He also makes on the spot heating pads for his beloved's aching back and hips. Rodimus makes sure that Minimus always goes to work with a little treat (I'm imagining Minimus loves licorice, nuts, and buttermints), and he makes Minimus just so flustered with all he does. Rodimus is just happy to channel his excess energy into something constructive and useful. He also is completely enthralled with the fact that Minimus is carrying his twins (though his lovers have to keep reminding him that the twins belong to all three of their dads), and he's just thrilled to feel special and necessary to someone. He doesn't feel entirely prepared or deserving of his bitties, but he tries very, very hard to prove himself.

Megatron is much quieter when it comes to Minimus' pregnancy. He also feels similar to Rodimus in that he doesn't think he deserves a chance at fatherhood after all he's taken from the world around him. He honestly tries to go about business as usual for a while because he's so scared this life he's built with his family will be stripped away from him. He begins to ease into it all after the first ultrasound. Seeing the burgeoning life growing inside Minimus' womb, the fruits of his love for his conjunxes - it really moves him. He spends lots of time just trying to treasure the time he has with Rodimus and Minimus, and really acts as an emotional rock for Minimus in those later months. He makes sure neither husband works themselves to the bone, and does a lot of research into being a good caretaker. He also keeps track of appointments and other urgent concerns when Minimus gets too tired and cranky to do much of that.

Minimus cherishes his conjunxes, and makes sure that they know how special they are to him. He keeps everything nice and glued together by ensuring proper cooperation with each other - which really just means batting his pretty red optics and convincing Rodimus and Megatron (who are totally not whipped for their carrying partner, no sirree) go along with his orderly and tidy vision for things. He micromanages them while he still has the time, and teaches them his ways so that there can be a smooth transition to his parental leave. He ends up stressing himself out though, so he lets go of the metaphorical leash just a smidge to rest his mind. Minimus entertains himself while on parental leave with creative writing, listening to music, and lots and lots of naps. Also, there's a lot of captain to captain professional development (basically just a discrete word for sex Megatron came up with) going on too.

HELL YEAH. And augh domestic megatron… my favorite. He’d be such a good husband you cannot change my mind. He’s the calm one and cares in more subtle, gentle ways, whereas Rodimus is constantly doting on Minimus and peppering him with kisses. Of course, he can easily tire himself out doing so much, so Megs convinces him to take a break and let him take the reins. Minimus is lucky to be spoiled by not one, but two lovers.
