Well, I could jump on the bandwagon this time and I made it on time. Sometimes I’m so very swamped with work that I just can’t participate.

I saw this challenge being retweeted on my twitter feed so I decided I’d do it and paint my own watercolor redraw.

It was comical, since I don’t know Sailor Moon’s colors by heart (truth to be told I don’t like this anime, but I did watch it when I was a teen) so the viewers were the art directors. ahahaha.

Due to my schedule, instead of Inktober- I’ll be doodling some of my favorite horror heroines! Starting with:

Susana Kamini from Alucarda (1977 Mexican horror film) 

[One a side note; it’s often been claimed that it’s a loose adaption of Le Fanu’s Carmilla. After watching the recent Carmilla movie, Natasha’s blood coffin scene instantly reminded me of this. Although it’s a part of the general story, it’s still fun to see parallels in two totally different films.]
