Haven't posted here in a while. This is a keyframe I finished for my visual development project Norse Lightning. Go figure, action scenes are super hard to do. Nonetheless, I am proud of the result. And thankful to Magenta Muraka for her amazing vis dev workshop.

Shinobu Kocho - Demon Slayer I enjoyed the Demon Slayer movie a lot this year so, a fanart of my fav was long due. Imo Shinobu was a really cool character because of how she hid her anger behind her smile and the way that was contrasted against Doma who also wore a fake smile but for different reasons. Love characters like that.
This is also my first movinkpad piece. It's a very impressive tablet. I initially wanted to do a way more dynamic pose but I am still trying to get the hang of it as it feels quite different from drawing on a normal pen display. The feeling of being able to take it and draw anywhere is really nice tho and it's something I've been missing for a while.

Avengers Holiday Crisis This is some of the vis dev work I did for the LEGO Avengers Christmas special at Chase A Cloud in collaboration with Tongal. This is the first major animation project I've worked on. I feel especially fortunate to have been given various tasks because I have learned a lot about the 2D animation pipeline. It was also my first time working with Blender's Grease Pencil. Special thanks to the team at Chase A Cloud for their feedback and guidance during this process. Check out the full video bellow

This is one of the cinematics I worked on at Chase A Cloud as a character illustrator. I drew the Enchantress in many of the shots and assembled, and lit many of the shots as well. Other character drawings were made by Konstantin Vitkov Titis, Nicole Virella, and Marco Castiello, the backgrounds were illustrated by Madhava Amrith, compositing by Nasko Filipov, Vladi Lakov, and Teodor Ralev, storyboards by Konstantin Vitkov Titis, Rali Aleksieva and Micol Ganzerli, art direction by Sava Komitski on our side. I am very thankful I was fortunate enough to be a part of this project.
