The Third Time || Ethan & Vedrana
Obviously Ethan was uncertain. The girl was just too bubbly for someone that was trapped within the Division sector walls â and it left little to be desired in the means of studying her and what she would intend on doing. Most people â as it seemed, were n two sides of the spectrum, either fearful (whether they would show it or not ) or too confident for their own situation, which was something Division did not find to be a desirable trait within their recruits. Blankly ignoring the girlâs pip in her tone the handler continued. âWell no, you are here because you were told to be." he reminded her fruitlessly, not thinking too much into the depths of what here and why were, as they were hardly his problem and something he would prefer to leave forâŠanother person to discover or bother with.Â
After hearing bounds of excuses from the other recruits (some liable, while others â questionable), the handler had far more than his share. âAnd you didnât think to ask?" he questioned the girl softly, not intending on sounding harsh or rude by any means. âThe authority of Division, they know a significant amount of what goes on, but contrary to popular belief, they are not mind readers Vedrana." Taking a sip of the water he kept to the side, the handler continued to size the girl up, questions brimming in his mind for a moment before finally settling, placing the bottle back down on the table. âAll right, well easy enough to just jump right in to start your training, but some what too easy." he decided, Â not willing to start right away since he still needed to get a grip on where the blonde stood. âNow, have you had a sparring match?"
Unknowingly, she began to tap her foot. Out of frustration? Out of lack of sleep? Did it really matter? He should really be focusing on the now, unless, he could pick her up and take her back time. To change her many mistakes. Vedrana flicked her hair to trash her many, uninvited thoughts. "You're right, Ethan I should have asked for some assistance." Vedrana smiled warily. "But I really wanted to show some initiative. I'll be sure to ask next time, without a seconds thought." Vedrana nodded her head reassuringly and ended her pitch with a small scratch on the nose. Hopefully she rubbed off as convincing, even though she was lying, but what ever made him feel happy or proud. She'd be able to say. What ever sweet words fed onto his ego.
"No." Vedrana sighed and fanned herself to relieve her growing headache. She used to love the heat. Summer, especially. The scorching heat gave her an excuse to prance around in her two piece bikini. Although, the private training room felt claustrophobic, enclosing and humid. Different kind of heat. One that gave Vedrana's ditzy head a headache. Along with Ethan's 'interrogation'. They brought unwanted reactions. Like her headache. The scenario reminded her of her first few months in the sex industry. Those unsettling anxiety attacks. Vedrana sighed and fumbled with her hands behind her back. "I did want to spar with one girl, but she didn't want to." Vedrana shrugged and seemed startled when an accidental yawn bravely escaped. "Excuse me." She said quietly, quickly bringing her fair skinned palm to her mouth.
