I have never been in that situation of a fic being 100 000 words+ in various disjointed parts and idk how to publish that lol (if I end up just replacing chapters which seems like the most logical thing to do, the first chapter will legit end up being 30 000+ words 🤔 but there's probably no way around that)

There is this one concept art image (or however it is called) of a giant and weird goshinboku.

#this goshinboku is actually in Yarikawa now that I went there #but it doesn't look as impressive in the game #so I don't feel particularly guilty for it modeling as the Kin Sanctuary one in its prime for me lol

sequel?

Sequel is supposed to be the Iki part. Which is mostly the point of it all lol. But of course with the level of detail in the backstory and everything else, I don't see how it could have started on Iki right away. I think some of the things that happened or happen in this fic are out of left field enough without trying to infodump them on people while already on Iki.

At worst, if the fandom dies out entirely and my interest along with it, there will be no sequel and it would have to stand on its own.
