Follow Your Heart
As God crafted the child she whispered: "Now go out in to the world my child, you will forget your time with me until it is time to return. Your heart is my native tongue; listen to it and you shall be listening to me. On Earth, you, just as all my children, are the representation of me in your life.“ On Earth, the child laughed and played and did what she was told. The child liked to hide away by herself and listen to her heart sing it’s wish for it was the prettiest choir of angels that waltzed with wonder. Yet she denied her heart’s true wish for fear of ridicule and judgement and rejection. And everyday the heart banged on her door yet she refused to open. Until one day the child listened for heart and there was only an echoed silence inside a hollow shell.
God came to the child in a dream and asked, “What sound is your heart, child?” The child was silent, unsure what to say. God continued, “You’ve always known the sound of your heart, but chose not to listen to it and therefore chose not to listen to me. You are the representation of me in your life. By betraying your heart’s wish you betray my wish for you. Listen to your heart and the universe I painted will bow in respect and carve the pathway to your treasure. For where your heart is, there lies your treasure.”
