a few people in the discords i’m in have been curious about making mesh stuff, so here is a short tutorial on the beginning of my own process (also i’ve been thinking about sharing my process for a while).  i dunno if it’s the “correct” way of doing anything, but it’s what i do, so if you’re still curious about the process of creating, look up other tutorials!  there’s hundreds of workflows, this is just mine

the model is kuroo, and the version of blender i’m using is 2.77.  avastar doesn’t come into play in this one, and i don’t use any other addons.

i also wanted to go in depth about how i make my clothing folds and rigging, so stay tuned?

A texture change HUD allows you to choose from 9 different textures for the arm bandages (clean and bloody versions). Bandages have normal and specular maps applied. i was wondering what program do you use to texture things? i want to make a kemono mod but simply staring at the UV map on PS is confusing--is there a program you load everything into for easier texturing and visuals?

I personally use SAI. But I know others use Photoshop. Texturing is a trial and error kind of thing. But to help save on uploading costs. You can use the Local texture system to save and see your textures already on the model. 

It’s like finding the door knob in the dark while drunk. 

Except in this case, eventually you get really good at it and sober up.

I was informed that the head and abdomen of my Muffet avatar was ripped along with spider parts(and skin) made by AmbiQT, and being given out as a set. I am absolutely not okay with this.

Normally, I’m indifferent to people copybotting my things if they would like to edit something they have purchased from me. Or even editing something a friend has purchased. But handing them out to people who have not purchased the avatar really effects my sales. The avatar did not just come into being in a snap. No one paid us to create the mesh or textures. We did it out of love for the game. We decided to have people pay for the work. As the creators of the mesh and textures, we have every right to be angry at someone giving away stolen work.

So I ask, if any of you come across a copybotted version of my Muffet head and abdomen or AmbiQT’s spider leg parts and skin, please delete it. Do not use it. Do not hand it out. Request that whoever is giving it out delete it as well.  Please do not allow this behavior. We are taking our own actions against this currently, but there’s only so much I can actually do at this point.

Hello! If you are a creator and interested in participating in a MAGICAL ANIME themed fair at my sim called HIVE. Please take this time as a heads up (by a few months) to prep or make any content for this event.  (I LIKE PREPPING MONTHS IN ADVANCED<3 and I know some of you busier creators do as well!)

As soon as I am done with sim renovations and get my content and any venue set up and advertisements for the event done I’ll set the date and spend a month recruiting creators and advertising this event. 

This is exclusive optional. If you want your stuff to be limited (ie. Event only freebie/gatcha) that’s up to you as the creator.

Acceptable content would include but not limited to: Full outfits, accessories, mod-kits, gatcha machines or freebies.

If you do decide on making a freebie it doesn’t have to be an entirely different product and can be used as a “sample” of what you are selling to entice customers. Blah blah blah marketing.
