You shouldn’t keep souvenirs of a killing. You shouldn’t have been that sentimental.
A Woman Under the Influence (1974) dir. John Cassavetes
ABBY (1974)
Showgirls is such a mindblowing movie. Like how could they include that much riveting content in less than 3 hours. It literally teaches you everything you need to know about the infrastructure of society and the world. It was prophetic and predicted the current state of events. The message was clear. Sacrifice your dignity to become a dancer. Being a dancer is the end goal.

The Impossible: A Story of Rats followed by Dianus and by The Oresteia, Georges Bataille, tr. Robert Hurley / Twin Peaks / Fire Walk With Me
TWIN PEAKS: FIRE WALK WITH ME was released 28 years ago. i don’t have the words to explain how much this film means to me. its so perfect. its so beautiful, and awful, and painful, and sore, and just so raw. the character laura palmer may herself be fictional, but its hard not to feel how real sheryl lee’s performance is, and how there are so many people out there living that reality. i am so so grateful that this film was made, in my opinion it was one of the best films ever made. sheryl lee deserved all kinds of awards for this, david lynch deserved all kinds of awards for this. i love this film deep into my bones and i am so thankful i got to see it. thank you with all my heart to everyone involved in the making of this.
