‘ i watched one that was, like, dedicated to a little boy because his dad died and they wanted him to know him even though he was gone, you know ? it was so fuckin’ heartbreaking. i think i cried at least twice. ’

‘ i’m not, which is the sad thing. i literally saw her pushing her dog in a stroller. i thought that was just shit people made up to seem quirky. ’

“ girl, i listened to it as soon as it came out. i don’t waste any time. ”
‘ you should be proud of me. usually, it’d take me a lot longer to get around to doing something. i’m surprised it only took me a day. ’

“okay. that’s definitely more reasonable. i think i liked beauty behind the madness more than starboy.”
‘ honestly ? me, too. i think i know just about all of the words to every song on that album. ’

i have a degree in being insanely positive, or i should have. anything at all can be some form of a positive right?
‘ you know, that’s my favorite thing about you. you’re so optimistic. i swear, i’ve never met anyone that can shed any situation in a positive light like you can. ’

‘ that doesn’t sound productive at all to me, but whatever makes your heart happy. ’

well baths are always nice, and documentaries are educational so it sounds like a productive enough day

“so i got cleo’s report card today, i don’t know whether to be happy that she’s probably the smartest ten year old alive or pissed that she called her teacher out for sleeping with her class mate’s dad… in front of the whole school. gotta LOVE parent teacher day!”
‘ gotta love kids. one of the best things about them is that they have no filter. i mean, i guess it’s great unless you find yourself in a similar situation to her teacher. what’d they do when she called them out ? ’

‘ cut me some slack, would you ? it did just come out yesterday. ’

i stopped listening at starboy. the weeknd is everything, although the two last albums are nothing compared to his early work but ugh, such a god!
‘ you aren’t wrong. i don’t think he’ll ever top beauty behind the madness. gotta love him, though. i think a lot of artists are like that, you know ? like, they have one really amazing album and then the rest of their work is just alright in comparison. ’
