Dear friends and kindred spirits,

I'm writing with important family news. In December 2025, we brought my brother Alexey home from a care home after four difficult years. He is 53 and lives with severe, chronic schizophrenia. We believe being with family is best for his well-being.

However, our house is unfinished. We've prepared a basic room for him on the first floor, but with no gas heating, we rely on expensive electric heaters. This has drastically increased our bills.

We also discovered urgent health needs: Alexey has extreme nearsightedness (-9) and has lost nearly all his teeth. He needs glasses and dentures immediately to see and eat properly.

We are facing significant costs for his medical needs, heating, and completing our home. Any support you can offer would make a tremendous difference.
