Hello, I’m em! Welcome to my Zalez blog! These two have had a grip on me for ages and I needed somewhere to post about them so here’s this side blog!

I don’t think I need to clarify but just in case: this is about their minecraft personas—in this case, the ones on vault hunters smp. Not the cc’s.

You’ll see me refer to Jordan as Sparklez whenever I’m talking about the character. And I will now be referring to Brandon as Pete whenever I’m talking about his character as well. I’ll try and use the c/cc! tags when necessary.

Brandon & Jordan = cc’s

Pete & Sparklez = Characters

Also I’m mainly an artist not a writer. I starting writing for these two for fun so I know my writing isn’t the best. These fics were spawned out of silly crack ideas don’t take them seriously. This whole ship was considered crack up until like a few weeks ago okayge.

Been thinking of Regret again… The complicated relationship that is Tom and Sparklez *massages head* oh I adore them. The fight between the comfort of an old relationship vs the chance of a better future with a new relationship.

Omg regret prequel?? Regret got me into watching mianite again and I just aughh the angst that is captain and Tom. The angst that is Pete and captain aughh. Brainworms, tears in my eyes.

Well you just got back into it just in time for the 10 year anniversary!

And yes the Regret prequel is called Remorse. It’s been a year in the making (I think I started right after I wrote Regret). A lot has changed (my writing has definitely gotten better). There might be some plot holes that need fixing. It’s currently being beta read by a friend of mine so that’s going to help a lot! I think it’s sitting at 10k words.

I’m very excited to finally share what we’ve been cooking up for the past year. The relationship between Sparklez, Pete and Tom has only just begun <3

A little update about how I’ll be referring to the boys from now on! For the sake of keeping everything as far removed of the cc’s as I possible can!

Just finished reading Regret and I loved it. The line about Tom waiting for his and Sparklez’s life to reconnect again made me so incredibly sad. Tom believing that he and Sparklez will be together again, that Pete is just a bump on the road *floats face down*. So good. Thank you for your art and hard work 🙏

Anon you single-handedly revived my desire to write again for the Regret au /srs

I wrote regret for me and as a gift for my friend back when we were the only two people shipping those two. Never thought people would see it or even like it enough to comment about it :’)

I still have an old love for mianite!syndisparklez. So, I had such a fun time incorporating their relationship into Regret even if it broke my heart multiple times. It made things so much more complicated for Zalez and I agonized for hours because I wanted to do both relationships justice. I just hope that in the end I managed to convey that in the story.
