This 4t2 conversion is something I've been working on for a month or two now. It has challenged me in new and unexpected ways, and I've learned so very much. It has reminded me why I love The Sims 2 community--it is filled with kind, helpful, supportive people in a way that few gaming communities can boast.
Thank you to @letomills, The Historical Sims Discord, The Sims 2 Shenanigans Discord, and the PBK Discord for the advice and help troubleshooting.
This is a conversion of @notsooldmadcatlady's 1830s-40s Gentleman. It has 4530 polys, comes in TM, AM, and EM, and includes fat morphs. I've done my best to make sure all the morphs are looking smooth and nice. The way that elders hold their head forward does, in some positions, cause some clipping with the neck. I can't find a way to make this avoidable, but I personally don't find it horribly noticeable. It's only noticeable in some positions in-game. It looks worst in Create a Sim, shown below:
You can also see that the TM fat morph is wonky in Create a Sim as well, but it looks great in-game.
Regardless of these issues, I think you will love the mesh as much as I do!
