A crooked smile broke onto Sebastian lips, blue hues following her out of the room as she dismissed herself. He half shook his head, the cigarette becoming loose between his lips. Vienna somehow always managed to stir up something within him with just the slightest of effort. He couldnât help but feel compelled by her in every sense of the word. The brit took his time finishing his smoke, as he knew heâd be waiting for a little while. Luckily, heâd managed to avoid getting the other persons blood on his clothes, so he was already ready to go.
Upon hearing Vienna re-enter the room, Sebastianâs gaze shot up to look at her. He gave her a once over â then twice, then three times. The mere sight of her already had his blood pumping faster throughout his body. âOkay? Thaâ would be an understatement.â He answered as he took slow steps toward her. He wanted to take her all in; her voice, the way she was looking at him, her scent. All of her. As he finally reached her, he placed his hands on her shoulders and allowed them to slide down her arms until he found her hands. âYou look like a fuckinâ dream.â He added. He wouldnât tell her, but sometimes he had to wonder if she was even real. Intertwining their fingers, Sebastian lightly led Vienna to the front door and outside to the car. He quickly moved to open her door for her, waiting for her to get in before shutting the door behind her and making his way over to the drivers seat. If she was his lady, he was going to treat her like so. No one else had made the cut thus far. With the car in gear, Sebastian turned the key and pulled out of the driveway. His hand absentmindedly found its way into her lap, gripping her knee gently as they drove off down the road.
âA dream thatâs only for you, Seb.â She murmured, fingers intertwining with his. If heâd been any other guy, the words sheâd just utter out would have been a lie â a meaningless, baseless, careless line sheâd simply managed to think up of on the spot; but with Sebastian, it was different. Whenever she saw him, whenever they came face to face, only truth seemed to flow out of her lips like sweet, sweet honey.Â
As he led her to the car and opened its door for her, Vienna felt her heart racing by the minute. It was small yet pivotal moments like these that had her wondering whether any of this was real (whether he was real.). She had been so sure, back then, that they wouldnât last â what with her not being able to commit to someone for long, and finding the very idea of love as a whimsical musing of some sort. Sheâd been so, very certain sheâd never fall in love with anybody and yet... Here she was. With him. Colliding like stars. Â
A small smile crept onto her face when she felt his hand on her knee. It was a habit of his sheâd come to love. Placing her hand on top of his, she leaned in and began speaking in an enthusiastic manner. âIs that the place weâre going to tonight?â she hummed, pointing at a bar thatâd recently been established. âI know youâve been wanting to check it out for sometime now.â
