Forever in awe of Furudate for redefining the meaning of the word “monster” into such a groundbreaking-ly positive thing like bro that’s actual aura !!!!! No seriously it’s like all our lives we grew up thinking of the word “monster” with all the negative meanings possible. Anything that might be harmful or dangerous or damaging and we’d name it monstrous but Furudate has made it into something else all together. He has changed the word to mean this group of people that are in a league of their own when it comes to their field of expertise and no one else except the members within the group can understand their skill and above all else their deep, deep passion for the game. It’s like these individuals are so beyond the grasp of other people which makes them aliens in a sense but just because they’re different or unique doesn’t mean they have to be lonely because there’s this entire gang of people who share this feeling of immense enthusiasm for this sport. They’re so exceptional in this field that he had to dedicate an entire another title to refer to them, that is, the monster generation.

Do you ever notice patterns in your fics because I do. Every fic I write is just another excuse for me to hurt Akaashi. In every universe he’ll be cursed or sick or injured or all three, poor boy (it’s entirely my fault and I’ll do it again)

Editing is wild. I just read the first ten lines of a chapter I wrote and I feel like I just come out of a battlefield drenched in blood and I have lost the battle (there is no good shit in what I wrote)

The good part is that past me knew she was NOT onto something when she wrote that bullshit and man the comments I left are hilarious. I’m laughing at a mix of French and English self-criticism right now
