Day 55 A bit of sunshine at lunch.
Day 54
Today I had the pleasure of introducing someone to Randy Pausch's The Last Lecture.
Day 53
Spent the afternoon walking around Harrods (where we ended up in the books section, as you do), got a Mississippi Mud Pie for dessert (oh. my. god it was glorious), which was then devoured while watching an episode of Human Planet on Netflix.
I don't normally believe in karma, but since I abandoned this project, my health (both physical and mental) has gone downhill. Also, there's just something missing.
SO LET'S IGNORE THIS MONTH OF SILENCE
Day 52
I finally got my birthday card! It's a duplicate of the one my mum accidentally sent to the wrong address; it was never discovered, so I finally got a new one. It's hand drawn, because my mum is that awesome.
DAY 51
Another text post, because I was somehow too busy today.
Had a nice lunch in good company, a coworker's homemade brownie for dessert (mmm), and this evening I got a call I was waiting for. All is well.
DAY 50
Auditioning. Scary, but fun. I'm not getting my hopes up, but I enjoyed it.
DAY 49
A day spent recovering from the day before, walking around and looking at bookshops; I must've been in at least five or six that day. Especially Black Gull Books – I could spend forever there.
DAY 48
Only a text post for yesterday. I spent the day in bed with my first migraine in ten years (I didn't even know it was a migraine at first, so … that was terrifying).
The few bright spots of the day came in the form of a few lovely, supportive phone calls, and those are difficult to photograph :)
DAY 47
So after we celebrated the end of Page 3 in The Sun for two days, apparently it's back.
Here I would like to point out the images on display at the News Building in London, where the rest of News UK live. Walking past them every day gives me some hope.
DAY 46
I'm not sure how appetising this looks to anyone but me, but whenever I make this stir fry, it's probably one of the highlights of the day.
It has ALL THE VEGETABLES (And tofu. This tofu. Mmm.)
DAY 45
I might have mentioned this before, but Tuesday is drama workshop day. It's one of my favourite days of the week.
Especially when dialogues are happening.
DAY 44
This is where I work now.
DAY 43
This is great on so many levels. Can't believe I hadn't heard of it before now.
DAY 42
Went shopping, and got into a small snowstorm. It was +5 degrees outside, but it went on for about an hour with impressive determination.
DAY 41
Said goodbye to the building I've worked in for over two years, and some of the lovely people who also worked there.
New building from next week!
DAY 40
Yesterday I remembered that during the Christmas holidays, I somehow managed to start an Amazon Prime trial, which I'm now halfway through without having used it.
I've got less than ten days to go, and have only now remembered that Amazon Prime comes with Instant Video, which … actually looks like it has better movies than Netflix.
I now have nine days to go through my watchlist. Tonight: The Double.
All aboard the failboat that is #100happydays
Wow. This is a busy week.
So for the catch up, only words this time.
DAY 38 Weekly hangout with a bunch of awesome people. I'm always too busy having fun to take actual pictures, but I'll try to work on that.
DAY 39 Wednesday. Came home from an endless tube ride after a long day of trying to work. Less than a minute after closing the door, my flatmate hands me a coke float. Day saved.
