So originally I had just started doing adopts again because I was low on money these past few months and wanted some money to save for our FurEh trip with friends.

Well unfortunately life doesn't like to see us being proactive apparently because it decided to give us two great gut (and wallet) punches in the form of my car and our dog, Percy.

Percy was unfortunately diagnosed with stage 3 kidney disease last month. I was able to cover his initial vet bills but the unfortunate part about kidney disease Is that there isn't a cure. We most likely have less than half a year left with him. And I want to be ready if things take a turn for the worse.

The money that is for him would be put aside for the inevitable and heart breaking future vet bills. For now he is still spry and doing okay so we are doing our best to spoil him and keep him happy with what time we have left.

My car also decided to go caput a little over a week ago, we had hoped we could repair it ourselves but we can't. For only Repairing the most important parts it will cost us around $1100 to get it drivable again. If we want to repair everything on the car it would be more like $3000.

So I am here unfortunately asking for help. If you can't donate money I completely understand. If you would still like to help, sharing this post would still help so much. Any money sent through this link, twitch streams, commissions, etc. will be going towards fixing our car, Percy’s vet bills and then, if somehow there is more left over (and if there is then holy cow, wow) It will go towards our trip to FurEh, I think we're really going to need it.

The rest of the response was cut off as their eyes widened at the feeling of the others fingers slipping under the laced choker and then came the tug-

"Stop!" They gasped,

The response of the choker was immediate; a rainbow sheen glistened as it self tightened around the inventor's throat, a warning to stop trying to pull. A boot came up to try to kick the killer away, the struggle Vigo put up earlier returning ten fold in a effort to get the others fingers away from their neck so the demon doesn't choke them out with it.

He immediately dropped Vigo once their foot connected to his chest, the force behind it being nary of pain but of how sudden it was.

Squinting through the eye holes of his mask, he flipped Vigo over with the tip of his boot. This time, he grabbed at Vigo's neck and held them up again.

"Quite the predicament you are in, to have that gaudy thing tighten around that neck. I guess someone here wants you and others to remember who...owns you?" He slowly shook Vigo by the neck, swaying them a bit roughly. "I wonder who you pissed off."

Getting the claws away from his neck had worked, and Vigo was actually surprised he had manage to make the large killer drop them. That short victory didn't last long, though, as they felt those same claws instead wrap one giant hand around their neck and lift them.

Vigo felt the heat of embrassment on their face as the killer tried to connect the dots, it actually alarmed them how *accurate* he was with that assumption. Vigo grunted as Kazan shook them, meeting the red eyes that burned under the mask,

"I don't think you would want to know." They rasped, if there was one think that was clear; it was the alchemist was not well liked around here and for good reason. "Whatever intention they had with this collar doesn't matter to me, I will get this off."

The inventor wasn't expecting Kazan to be as stealthy as he was, they didn't even hear him approach; which is hard to not hear when the metal armor of the samurai clank aghast eachother. Vigo let out a noise as their boots kicked into nothing but open air and upon meeting the red pinpricks of the demons mask, they paused. He wasn't moving them to a hook. Just...staring... sizing them up? Green eyes narrowed as their brows knitted in confusion. "...Greetings?"

Kazan did not say anything in response.

He did however, hook a nail under the choker on Vigo's neck, the Fog moulded cameo brooch sitting under the fleshy end of Kazan's pointer finger.

"What a petty display of a iridescence shard."

In a stroke of annoyance, Kazan shoved his meaty finger underneath the choker and pulled; it did not fray under his strength, the only look of stress was from how the flesh bulging around it and windpipe underneath straining against him.

Kazan slaps a hand on Vigo's salt and peppered head and picked them off whatever thing he was messing around with in their trial and held them up to eye level.

He couldn’t stop moving his body and mind driven by a fever as he adjusted to being….back…back here in the woods that he left what felt like an eternity ago. He saw flashes of ghost memories reconnecting and resurfacing dancing over his vision confusing him as panic filled his chest. He smiled widely seeing an old friend her wild hair was unmistakable. “Nikki oh gosh it’s me I’m ba-” When he reached out the illusion was broken the image of his friend dissipated he pressed his hands to his eyes blocking his vision making lights appear from behind his lids from the force he was pressing against them almost painful.

“Gods Baker! Get yourself together….you need to calm down you need to find the fire and find someone real! The fire the fire remember the fire…”

Baker took a shaky anxiety-driven breath as he stood back up and with a panic stride he began pushing through the brush ignoring the path letting his broken mind lead him ignoring the foggy memories that invaded his vision. Whisps of old friends and foes danced in the shadows as he became more panicked and overwhelmed trying to cope with the fact he’s managed to find his way back here. What does that mean for him? Is this even real? Has he finally lost his mind? Is he dying? Are these just flashes before death before the void consumes you?

It can’t be….no he must find the fire or the- his soul froze. His mind and body came to a screeching halt as he looked at a place all too familiar the lab. A place he knew better than any campsite or realm here in the fog. He was frozen for all but a few moments as he made a mad dash to the building which seemed a little worse for wear….He fumbled with the door knob before he finally turned it the right way a miracle it was unlocked and he burst in.

The place was as messy as it ever was if not even more so. He inhaled the air as the familiar scent of chemicals and paper filled his nose a comforting scent that eased his mind ever so slightly. Yes. This was real but the shadows of the lab danced just as they did in the fog slowly replaying memories foggy shadows of him and….Vigo working together in the lab, joking, and eating what scraps they’ve found. Baker turned wildly grasping at the shadows begging for any of them to be real as tears filled his eyes staining his face as his throat closed with panicked breathing. Papers and notes flew about as he chased these illusions of past experiences waiting for any of them to be real.

“Please please! I’m back where are you please! I’m so sorry! I just need to touc-” 

He heard the door slam open and he whipped around his eyes wide showing nothing but pure panic as he laid eyes on…him! Baker rubbed his eyes to make the shadows stopped to see him as he was. How their white streaks have gotten bigger their clothes have changed drastically too but..he could tell this was real. Baker reached out instinctively for a moment before retreating back anxiously clutching the pendent at his neck.

“V-vigo? Giovanni?”

He didn’t know what else to say his mind stuttering trying to follow a million different train tracks of thoughts. That are all colliding at once creating a devastating wreckage. hHe whipped at the tears in his eyes to clear his vision even better.

“Is that you?”

Vigo was winded by the time they slammed the door open, their workshop was the last spot they could think of that Benedict would be and that assumption payed off as the frazzled man gripped his necklace and stared at the inventor like a deer in the headlights. Vigo felt like he was hearing the voice from underwater as their body and mind fuzzed up.

He's back. He's actually back.

He doesn't look the same, more roughed up....void touched but God the posture, the fact he knows Vigo's last name-

"Who else would I be?" They gasped, and in a couple long strides Vigo closed the distance and hugged the other. A desperate, crushing one; like if they let go of him he might dissapear again. A pitiful noise left their mouth, muffled quickly as Vigo buried their face in the others patched coat while their hands pawed Benedicts back; trying to not let the years of pain bubble up in tears.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry- Mi scuso per tutto- I failed you."

The Blight hooks a finger under Vigo's collar, and yanks them toward him.

[It appears that your wish has been granted from your wildest dreams, and yet, you had no hand in it. I will only tell you this once, your sins are still marred upon your very soul for seeking to ONLY save your precious /Benedict/ in the Void.]

A vile glowing tongue unravels itself from The Blight's gaping maw and swirls the flat of it on Vigo's supple cheek.

[If it were up to me, I would drag his very soul back there to join the others whomst reach for anyone to save them, remind them, of what pale imitations they once were.]

The inventor couldn't say they were surprised at the alchemists visit, the man seemed to enjoy tormenting them in periods that it was almost becoming the norm. Still, a choked noise left Vigo at the harsh tug of the iridescent sheened collar; their nose wrinkled in distain as the layered voice invaded their mind and mocked them. It felt like a stone settled in their stomach as the killer confirmed Benedict Baker walked once more in the fog, Vigo really didn't know how to feel about this. They have thought about scenarios, what they will say to the man should they ever see him in the flesh agian but the surge of emotions that came with that was...less then expected or welcomed.

Vigo had opened their mouth to respond, but as soon as the wet burning heat of the Blight's tongue met their cheek, they immediately clamped it shut and turned their head away from the offensive appendage. Vigo spoke, voice strained;

"I am not suprised you'd rather not rejoice in his second chance at life that you decided is beneath your own," They twisted away from the foul being, "Do you find pleasure in dragging others down to be as miserable as you are? What a sad existence you must live. I find it humorous you mock them as pale imitations when you yourself are the same."

💭 what was his thoughts when he used blight

The first time Vigo used Blight was when he made his grand escape from the void, the only thoughts he had were all centered around escaping.

The pustula felt like liquid lava had entered his blood stream before it ever dulled into a warm ache he can handle, and when the inventor was finally spat back out into the fog the feeling of wanting more came next. That is what kicked off Vigo's whole obessession with pustla's and Blight.
