Scream: My character has caused yours to scream out for some reason

          victoire hadn’t planned to scare james, she’d only wanted to ask him a question. but upon walking up behind him, she noticed the concentration in his face, and she couldn’t help herself. he hadn’t heard her coming up behind her, or at least hadn’t turned around, so she just had to scare him. 

          creeping up behind the seated figure, she shouted in his ear. loud enough that she was sure half the house heard her. and the scream that he’d emitted, she was positive everyone in the house had heard. “you alright there, jamesie ??” she mocked concern, attempting to hold in her laughter but, ultimately, failing.

Don’t Leave Me!: Your muse is dying in my muses arms and mine is frantic, doesn’t want to lose you, and doesn’t know what to do about it.

          victoire can’t help but let her stinging, hot tears well up in her eyes, a few escaping as she looked at the girl laying on the ground. this was her sister and she could do nothing to help her. all she could do was sit. she could wait for the last breath to leave her lips. but she couldn’t s t o p death, that was out of her power. 

          victoire squeezed her eyes, willing the tears to leave as she pushed back dominique’s hair softly. “where else would i be ??” she whispered, reaching for the younger’s hand as she continued to stroke her hair with her right hand. “you’re going to be fine,” she murmured, more an assurance for herself than the girl. she knew any attempt to save her life would be proven futile. but the assurance still came from her lips, still NEEDED to be said. “you’re going to be just fine. i promise.”

        everything seemed to stop the moment victoire heard those three words, the girl couldn’t think, she couldn’t move, she couldn’t do anything. subconsciously, she let four words of disbelief slip from her lips, “no, they are not,” she argued, in no was would she believe this statement spoken to her. not unless she was given solid proof. “don’t you DARE say that again or, so help me, y o u will be the dead one,” she threatened.

        “—WHAT do you mean ??” victoire asked, her voice cracking as she spoke. that was her little sister they were talking about victoire should have done something to protect her, anything in her power. but yet she was here, in this town, in the middle of GOD ONLY KNOWS where. this was on her, and she would never let herself live that down.
