Hai is done!
Wooot!
Okay, themes are changed on both, I'll fix/rewrite bios throughout the week. I'm gonna try to stay up all night, but I might crash for a few hours and respond to anything later. Today, I will get something up for Lieu as well.
I'm gonna be pissed at myself. I think I lost Hai's bio.
Please reblog this if you are an Active Legend of Korra or Avatar the Last Airbender Roleplayer
i could use some more blogs/ new blogs to follow so please reblog and i will follow you!
THIS IS OPEN TO BOTH CANON AND OC’S!
Yeah, bringing Hai back. Someone’s got to fix all these cars/satocycles!
As if I’m letting you come back without me; someone’s gotta make sure that a certain mechanic remembers to eat~
Hehe, this is a good point, or else he would eat candy almost exclusively.

A Trip to the Swamps
A tingling shock ran up her spine as the mechanic squeezed her leg, a smile coming to her lips as she simply looked at him and giggled. her head nodded up and down, hands lowering as the smaller of the two leaned against the taller one, head nuzzling against his neck to feel the warmth of his blush. For all the cool and suave persona that she loved so much, Xiao-Mao had to admit that she loved that tinge of red on his ears and his neck just as much. From when before they even started dating to when they eventually did, getting a slight peek to when he was flustered just made that smile of her’s grow.
And before she knew it he was up and going to check on the status of their train ride. Oh, hopefully they wouldn’t really stop over in Omashu; selfish it may sound, she was so set on getting to the swamp as fast as possible so that 1) she could meet Hai’s family, and 2) she could ask his mother about her latest bout of flu-like-yet-not-flu symptoms. She was a healer after all, right?
Spirits, For all the people she knew in Republic City the most difficulty of remembering who was what really did come with Hai and Lieu’s family. Perhaps it was her hopes to get it right? Either way, once they get to the swamp and Hai was maybe distracted with family matters, she would go and ask a healer. Of course, a creeping feeling of what could be the matter nagged at her, but considering that the songstress didn’t exactly know anything concerning medicine, Xiao-Mao did her best to push it away.
Before long Hai had returned, planting his lips to her forehead and making the furrowed brow undo and the pout to her lips come back to a smile. Like before she snuggled up to him, laying her head onto his shoulder and hugging her knees to her chest as he spoke. “Ah, really? This is the first time I’ve ever really even left Republic City, so just being on a train is really exciting!” A childish enjoyment, but how could she help it? This really was her first time outside the metropolis, and especially her first time being on a locomotive moving as quickly as this train was.
He grinned as he came back, seeing her break into a smile only making his own wider. As she snuggled up to his side, he wrapped an arm around her, turning his head to glance out the window. “Yeah, it is pretty nice, huh? I’m glad yer enjoyin’ yerself.” As he talked, his hand came up to ruffle her hair, smiling to himself.
Still, he was so concerned about her health. While she seemed to be doing better now, she was somewhat warm to the touch and her earlier sickness, well, it had him just a touch worried. Part of him was still wanting to stay over in Omashu, but he knew his dad would be waiting for them, the borrowed wagon to get them the rest of the way. Bao was not a man who liked to be beholden to anyone for too long, and while he would understand, Hai was uncomfortable with making his dad wait like that.
Besides, there was Lieu’s teacher and a sort of psuedo grandmother who could tend to her. While Lieu hadn’t been able to pass on too much of her healing skills back, swamp medicine was effective enough. He knew, he had been Lieu’s test dummy way too many times, teas and poultices shoved at him at the slightest cough. Maybe once they got there, under the pretense of meeting the famed Lien, he could get her to examine Xiao, make sure everything was okay?
Like two pieces of a puzzle the curves of her body fit perfectly against his, little hands holding onto his whose arm was wrapped around her petite frame so as not to leave this moment too quickly. Even as he messed with the sable tresses that -even for her who’d grown it to such a length willingly- was a task to keep untangled, she only giggled childishly and made certain to nuzzle up against his hand.
Yet something was off. Something resonated from his being that meant at least some uncertainty: could it perhaps be her prior bout of sickness? Minty orbs looked up to the mechanic as Xiao-Mao tried to figure what could possibly be going on in that mind of his. But alas, there was only so much the vibrations of the ground, of one’s being could tell the earthbender before her knowledge came to a stop. Judging by his hold on her though it definitely was something that concerned her own well-being, and so far, the only thing that could strike any marks in that category was her inability to have kept her breakfast down.
Her hand squeezed his, dainty fingers lacing through the techbender’s own as lush lips pressed against the back of his hand. And then she slid down to one side, laying her head to his lap and turning so that she was on her back and her face met up with his. In the light of the setting sun -or perhaps it was better to say in the fading light?- his features certainly were quite swooning; a good thing the songstress was on her back already! “Train aside though, the only reason I’m really enjoying myself is because I get to spend time with you, Qin-Ai.”
To that her smile grew brighter, the young woman taking his hand that she held and placing his palm to her chest, right above the heart that beat so unstably yet at that moment worked with a rhythm swift and steady. “Ne, see how much you make my heart flutter?”
He could almost sense her questions, even as he chose to ignore it for the time being. He knew she would only feel guilty, and she couldn't help being sick like that. He doubted very much one really wanted to feel like that. Instead, he just focused on playing with her hair, making her feel as comfortable as possible. His face broke into a wide smile as she nuzzled her face against his hand, changing his gesture into a sort of pet along her hair. She really could be the little kitten, couldn't she?
And just like a real cat, she changed her position on the fly, the squeeze to his hand the only clue before being chased away by her full lips dancing along the rough patches on the back on his hand, and he looked down into her face. "Same here. Maybe we should make a habit of these trips, and try to go some other places when we can? Wouldn't mind seein' somethin' like the Fire Nation, all the stuff I've found out says most of our tech gets it's start there. "
He shook his head, the apology on his lips dying as she positioned his hand against her chest, the steady heartbeat relieving him more then she knew. If her heart was steady like that, then there was little to be worried about right? Maybe it was nothing more then nerves and train rides that made her ill. "I can see that, but ya best know ya ain't alone." With a grin, he brought her hand up to his chest, letting her feel his own steady and quick heartbeat. "Got it runnin' like a man who lost one arm to a catgator and wants to save the other...Guess ya can tell we're getting close, if i'm startin' to pull out the weird expressions."
But where he would normally get self-conscious, he laughed instead, shifting slightly so they both could be comfortable. "Not too much longer, and then we'll be there."
Her eyebrows raised at the comeback, his instruction and more than obvious insinuation that she should be using her mouth for something else bringing out the promiscuous competitor that for so long was often locked away. Well, now it was time to stretch and get moving, and get moving she did with keeping him at bay. One thing about Xiao-Mao no one should ever do? Underestimate, even if on purpose, and oh, Hai, was he preparing himself for the kill.
“Ne, but Yeo-Bo’s ‘milk’ is so yummy, I don’t wanna drink it all at once too quickly,” and to that she took off the ribbon around her neck, tying it a little too snugly around the base of his member so as not to bring on too soon of a finale, but of course not too tightly that he would actually be hurt. And, of course, rather than comply to his words and wrap plump pink lips around it like always, she trailed her tongue along the bottom from the back to the head; licking it slowly, savoring it as if it were some sort of delicacy that the sable-tressed beauty got only once in a blue moon. “I wanna be able to savor it all~”
Another small kiss to the tip to tease, and delicate hands began to massage his length as her mouth began to suck lightly against where his ‘milk’ was. As she did so one hand stroked at his shaft, her other massaging and toying lightly with the head to provide absolute attention to the mechanic’s most intimate parts.
"Ah not that again."
His head lifted long enough for him to confirm and then he let it fall back with a soft thud, hands tightening in sudden frustration. "Yanno sweetheart, it's better if ya drink it down fast." Not that it mattered now, the cat was out of the bag and ready to play with her prey and he had been the fool to open that bag.
Especially when her tongue trailed along him, his teeth gritting to try and contain his lust, knowing the more he could control it, the better it would be for him. "Yanno, when it's yer turn, ya gonna regret every bit of this." A threat more potent if it could have been delivered in anything more then a harsh whisper, a low groan slipping out at the end as her small hands began to massage his length. And that damnable ribbon was his worst enemy, making it feel three times better then it should have.
When he felt her hands slip down to play with the 'jewels', he lost the battle, the " Oh đụ, that feels so good." sounding loud even to his own ears, not that he much cared at this point. He reached a hand down to rest on her head, not quite attempting to pull her, just wanting to touch her some way back and mind beginning to short circuit.
Xiao-Mao giggled, slipping into her cheongsam with ease; silently celebrating to herself when the only snug fit -she realized- was at her bosom. Still lacking, but the fit was better than before by a long shot. Perhaps Hai might have even noticed before? Or maybe, if not before, he could later that ni- Oh, spirits where was her might going?! Was just the sight of the mechanic undressing really enough to make the earthbender’s mind transition to such a lewd prospect on nearly everything she thought of? Not that she complained, really, but…
Wait, was he getting closer? The ravenette looked up to the man from Foggy Swamp and swallowed, acknowledging how her face was more than definitely red as ever, and how certainly this night might turn out to be one spent at home. But, oh, was it like she cared? As chapped lips crashed against plush pink a small moan escaped the songstress, slender arms wrapping around Hai’s neck as she herself pushed into the kiss to deepen it. All those kisses from the moment they shared lunch under that willow tree, and even now it was as wonderful as the first. The tickle of his fingers against her skin, the hold he had against her that ensured no escape (but really why would she want to?) and slowly traveled down lower, lower against the silk of her unbuttoned dress.
What escaped his own throat, though, as the kiss went on only made Xiao-Mao pull him closer, and at his pulling away she even whimpered like a child deprived of their favorite treat. And, oh, how Hai was indeed her favorite treat…
But she couldn’t be mad at him, not even for a moment as he laughed and made his way out the room. The blush dissipated to a lesser pink flush, and in reaction to his tease she pouted, sticking her tongue out like a child would rather than the young woman that she was. “M-Meany! Kissing me like you did and just stopping, Yeo-Bo can be so mean sometimes!”
Half-teasing, half serious; that was quite literally her reaction, and that was quite literally how much of a child she could be with him.
Hai laughed, the sound a little deeper then it normally was, combined with his darkened eyes as the only proof that she had affected him in the least even as he finally slipped out the room. "Meany? I thought I was bein' sweet!" He leaned in once more to return the tongue, taking the moment also to admire how the dress was clinging to her before another chuckle announced his final departure from the room.
No, Hai certainly didn't mind the child aspect to her personality; how could he when it so perfectly complimented his sense of humor? If anything, it was most likely a large factor in how they stayed together for so long, making it easy for them to tease back and forth. Although right now, he wasn't sure who he was teasing more, her or himself. He leaned his head against the wall, half laughing, half groaning at his own behavior, before finally getting dressed in the damn suit.
Only to come back into the room, muttering mild curses in swamp tongue as he fiddled around the drawers. "Lost the damn tie" was the only explanation given as he continued on his search, the cuffs and collar part undone on his suit, the jacket left in the living room in a lump. "Ya ain't seen it, have ya darlin'?"
Married Life
He bit back a tiny laugh as her slender fingers danced along his hands and arms, noticing yet again her fascination with his scars. Hai could still remember the sensation of her lips kissing every single one of them some time back, something that would’ve been ticklish had it not come from such a sweet place. It was a puzzle to him, but unlike most, he left it unsolved. It made her happy to pay attention to them, and while he didn’t understand, he certainly couldn’t or wouldn’t complain.
That laugh broke free at what she said in her defense, head shaking slightly as he leaned forward and kissed her on the nose, watching it crinkle in satisfaction. “Tizzy huh? I didn’t know I had that much power over ya.” The charming knight facade fell as he smirked, leaning back against his chair with an almost cocky tilt to his body. “How very interestin’.”
Not that he was immune to her charms. No, he certainly hadn’t been daydreaming about puppies or catgators a few minutes ago. No, his mind was firmly in the delicate hands of Xiao, as well as his heart, and how easily she could crush both into dust. Yet, it was never a worry for him, knowing the gentleness to her that was perhaps too well hidden from many. Just thinking of it eased the cocky edge out of him for the moment, a hand reaching for hers and bringing it to his lips for a gentle kiss.
“Yeah, sounds like a good plan to me.” With a nod of his head, he moved to pack their food up, slipping away for just a moment to get a bag to carry out with. He drained what was left of his cup, leaning on the table once more as he waited for her to finish her own. “Next stop, the shop!” Even Lieu would have to laugh at the moment his face filled with utter and childish glee, before he restrained it in with a small laugh.
As he tilted back she herself rested her head in her hand like a schoolgirl admiring her crush. Spirits, charming knight or not he definitely had a spell cast over her, whether Hai knew it or not. In all honesty it was that smirk of his she preferred; no one could smirk and look that stunningly breathtaking. At least, no one but Hai. From gentleman to deviant… Oh just thinking about it almost sent a shiver of excitement up her spine.
But really the physical aspects of her attraction to the mechanic from Foggy Swamp was only a fraction of what really was the reason to how she’s fallen so easily head over heels for him. There was his personality, his spirit, his… Well, to say the least, his everything. There honestly wasn’t one thing about Hai that Xiao-Mao didn’t like, and from that hard and armor-like exterior she kept to hide those feeling of hers, he was so easily able to coax out that sweet and loving kitten only he was allowed to see. Even his accent, to which her friends promptly asked about whether she was annoyed or not with it, was actually one of her most favorite features of him. It was unique, and she couldn’t get enough of it or him..
At his compliance Xiao-Mao finished her own cup of tea as he got a bag for them to carry their food, giggling as she placed down her cup and stood to fix her dress and walk out alongside him. That smile of his was absolutely wondrous, and contagious, too; it could get the earthbender smiling on even her worst days, and knowing her that was a miracle that only he could really achieve.
Her fingers laced through his, little hand of the musician holding onto the techbender’s much larger one as the ravenette nuzzled her head against him momentarily and returned the bright smile. “Spirits, someone’s excited, ne~?”
His hand tightened as hers slipped inside of it, turning his head slightly just to see her nuzzle against him. “Come on lil’ Meo’ Con, and yeah I guess I am. Been wantin’ this nearly as long as I’ve been in the city.” He leaned his head closer murmuring in her ear. “But never as much as I want ya.” With that, he straightened, tugging her hand gently to get her walking again.
Despite his excitement, he was in no hurries to get there, taking his time to walk with his love when it had been so long that they had time like this together. That was a challenge, especially with his work schedule. Perhaps sometimes he could be accused of being a workaholic but he was so determined to provide her. Knowing what he did of how she grew up, he never wanted her to worry. Plus, he wanted his own business and not have to listen to a boss anymore. The swamp native could never fully let go of that independence native to his culture.
But of course it didn’t take long, though he did dart down another alleyway then he normally would when he caught a glimpse of graffiti knowing how it could set Xiao off. Sometimes he liked when she got all worked up, the childish part enjoying how she would yell and mutter. But today he wanted both of them happy as they could be, so he cahnneled that childish enenrgy into picking her up off the ground and getting her on his back as they walked into the currently empty shop. “Well, here we are. It doesn’t look like much yet, but it won’t take much.”
At hearing her nickname the wife smiled and squeezed his hand lightly, her grip loosening as he whispered tantalizing words into her ear and made that innocent pink flush deepen to a passionate red. How he could be so nonchalant at teasing her, she could never know; always he acted as if he did nothing and only gave that devious smile, while always she was victim to his charms and was left wanting more; more of that irresistibly deviant techbender from Foggy Swamp.
There was a slight hop to her step as she walked alongside him, the fact that -even amongst all his excitement- he took his time to walk alongside her making the ravenette smile up to him. With a work schedule as hectic as his, and with the times she’d fallen asleep waiting for him in the kitchen to come home so that she could reheat his meal and ask him how his day went, it was difficult to really, actually spend time together. And, at first, she worried; what if this was something only Xiao-Mao herself noticed? But no, Hai wasn’t at all like that; he was definitely the perfect husband all around.
Even when it came to her pet peeves; a flash of color amongst brick just barely coming across the far corner of her vision letting the young woman know that, yes, petty as her dislike of them may be, her husband was careful enough to avoid anything that could have remotely ticked her off. And she loved that about him; loved how he spoke, how he acted, how he cared about even the smallest details of his work, of her: she loved it all. The happy thoughts passed time quickly, and before she knew it there they stood within the empty building. Large, empty, but knowing Hai, Xiao-Mao knew well enough that this area would become Republic City’s most popular shop yet. “Spirits,” she whispered; carefully as if one loud sound could make an echo that would ruin the moment. Yet, a smile played on her face as she squeezed his hand once more, lifting it to place a kiss to the back of callused fingers. “It’s amazing, Qin-Ai…”
He kept quiet at first as she looked around, himself gazing about, mentally arranging the nonexistent furniture and machines in the empty space. For as much as he was excited about owning it, there was a part of him nervous, fingers tapping against his legs the only display of his nerves; he hoped she could see at least a fraction of what he could. Lieu had dropped by when he hadn't stopped talking about the space, and for all that she was encouraging, she couldn't see the vision. And maybe no one else could see how he was going to fix every mistake he saw in the varying shops around town, the subtle shift of toolboxes closer to the space where one worked on cars, with enough tools for everyone..
His thoughts were disturbed by the press of soft lips to his fingers, a smile flooding his face. "Ya really think so, darlin'?" He grinned, wrapping his arms around her slim waist, pulling her close so that he could point out every idea in his mind and where it was located in the building, his own voice hushed. It was as if a spell was woven over the space, and if either of them spoke too loudly, it would be disrupted, the building gone into a thousand pieces. "Right over there is gonna be my office, not that I'm gonna be in it much. Jus' somethin' for talkin' to important people really, I'm gonna spend most of my time on the floor. And over there, I'm thinkin' I'll try to keep some extra tools, because it always sucks when tools go missin'. And.."
Even as he rattled off his ideas, he kept her close, resting his head on top of hers, smiling to himself. How did he ever get so lucky? Of course if anyone was going to see what he saw, it would be the best cook Republic City ever gave birth to. And there was no doubt that she was every bit the city's child, and he loved every square inch of her. How she could turn so tough in a moment's notice, even as he rushed in to protect her; how she could go nowhere in the city without finding a familiar face. Not to mention how well she fit against him, and not only physically, though he did love how he could press her against himself and find them a perfect fit. No, for all that they grew up so differently, they fit perfectly, her words weaving into the empty spaces of his mind, making his plans stronger, his smile more frequent.
And so, when he finally ran out of words, he turned her around, kissing her deeply. "Spirits and stars, I'm gonna make ya so proud, I swear. I'm gonna make sure ya have whatever ya want, I promise."
The words were soft, even softer then his whispered plans, even as he pulled away enough to stroke the side of her face, knowing the smile on his face was goofy and dreamy. "Thank ya."
Ne, I have a late Valentine's day gift for you~ And I promise it'll be better than your Christmas gift, too, Yeo-Bo~ ♡
“Oh really? I’m not sure how ya could top the last one there darlin’, but let’s see it.”
Hai couldn’t help the smallest of smirks as he remembered the beautifully wrapped ‘present’ Xiao made of herself, and how well that night had went. So what could she possibly have up her sleeve now?
Even with how lightly his fingers brushed against her the ravenette couldn’t help but simply moan his name, her head tilting back as voluptuous hips shivered in delight. Oh, even just one more touch might bring her to the edge; but knowing Hai -actually, knowing herself even- just one happy ending wasn’t going to suffice. No, their endurance lasted quite a while, and it was times like these where it was obvious, and she was thankful.
But impatience was just as obvious, and as he moved back a bit she bit her finger to hold back the whine that threatened to be heard. And good thing, too; not even a second later she watched as he smirked at her, made that timid kitten hide away to make room for a minx that just couldn’t wait to… Play any longer. She gasped as he made contact with her womanhood, legs stiffening and toes curling as dainty hands gripped tightly at the bedsheets and plush pink lips parted to let out a cry of absolute pleasure. Xiao-Mao fell back to the bed, back arching up from it as it took her all not to reach her climax right away.
Oh, but it was difficult; oh, so difficult. Even with how aroused she already was, the way his lips and tongue worked like magic to the touch, the way the silken fabric of the ribbon that he’d neglected to untie from her chest rubbed against her nipples, the feeling of rough and hardened hands gripping tightly to her hips she lost control in no time at all; entire being stiffening and the musician’s body trembling as her lower half just absolutely begged for more. “A-Ahn~! Hai~!”
Ah, his little Meo Con was already wanting to bite. Seeing that only made his smirk deeper as he dipped his head. Her reactions was like rice wine to him, getting him drunk and wanting nothing else but more of it, more of her. Perhaps that’s why he didn’t drink near as much, he found something so much intoxicating.
He kept his eyes closed for the most part, wanting to savor the taste, though he did occasionally open them to glance up Xiao’s body, see how she was enjoying herself. Of course, it only made things more uncomfortable for him, considering he hadn’t bothered to strip before getting in the bed with her. Definitely an oversight he would have to remedy..after. Right now, he hungered to taste the first of hopefully many ‘happy endings’ and as she moaned and arched up into him, he groaned.
He used nearly every trick he knew of, hands tightening more on her hips as she grew hotter. When he was rewarded with her crying out his name, the sound the most amazing music in his ears, he lingered. It was only when she was close to catching her breath that he pulled away, kneeling upright as he cleaned his lips off with his tongue, the motion slowing as he finally took in the full sight of her there. “Ya really have no idea how sexy ya look right now.”
His shirt was pulled up without finesse, tossed to the floor as he bent to kiss her once again, hands following the curve of her body. The ribbon was finally tugged at, though he somehow still kept his pace slow as he undid the bow and finally pulled it away from her body completely. With a cocky grin, he reversed their positions, settling her on top of him, hands holding her steady at the waist. “Why don’tcha pay me back for that first orgasm?” As he spoke, he let his hands wander down her sides and over her bum to caress her legs, waiting for her to play the minx. His smirk was offered up as a challenge, only further emphasized by the raise of his eyebrow. “Give it yer best shot.”
Like a drug his touch, the feeling of his tongue, his lips against her… The only thing that sounded from the ravenette’s lips (the above ones, mind) were that of her singing his name, of making moans that could only compliment the movements that only he could make her do. Xiao-Mao’s mind was in a daze, and for a while it lasted quite like that, but soon enough feeling the chill of the air against her nipples, looking up to see that now Hai, too, was sporting that oh-so wonderful shirtless style of him.
But why not? Seeing him like that made her breathless, from the very first moment when she saw him in such a way on accident to now when -on some days- she herself would tug almost childishly at his shirt until he took it off. And like a catalyst that near burning feeling down below made the songstress blush under him. Oh, and his hands! The feeling of callused fingertips gripping so tightly to that waist of her’s before stroking her legs, that smirk, it let that hidden side of her’s come out without a problem.
And without a second thought she smiled back, wrapping slender arms around the handsome techbender’s neck and rolled them over so that she were on top now. She licked at her lips, pressing that lush pair to the mechanic’s lips and trailing them down to his neck, that wonderfully sculpted chest of his, his stomach, all the way down to those -for the moment- vexatious pants of his. Keeping her eyes up to his, where mint met those deviant dark green and a slight shiver ran up her spine.
Her teeth bit at the zipper to his pants, her head lowering and pulling the zipper down tut suite as delicate hands pulled down the rest of his trousers to find quite the… Wondrous surprise sprung up to her face. Xiao-Mao’s grin could only grow at seeing it, a near hungry look coming to those feline eyes as one last kiss was placed to the very tip. “Uwa~ It looks like I’m going to have a lot of fun paying you back, ne, Yeo-Bo~?”
It was no problem for him to roll with her, leaning back for her to have her fun. He certainly hadn’t forgotten about that one time she had him tied to a chair and teased him. But the way he figured, he wasn’t tied down this time so there was nothing to prevent him from taking charge should the situation require it.
Soon all thoughts were gone as Xiao started kissing her way down, his breath hitching as her soft lips carassed his skin. Still, he didn’t want to make it too easy for her, meeting her gaze with ease, slight smirk twisting his own lips. That control started slipping as her teeth grabbed ahold of his zipper, forcing his breath out slow in response. “Teasin’ me gonna take more then that.” Part of him actually regretted the words as soon as they slipped out, especially when he met her eyes once more and could see that he definitely had awoken the full grown vixen she normally hid inside.
Especially as Xiao kept teasing, the kiss to his member far from enough and they both knew it. “Well I would’ve thought so but ya don’t seem to know what to do with it.” He smirked again, unconsciously licking his lips as he crooked a finger at her. “Jus’ a piece of advice, lips feel really good wrapped AROUND it.”
Spirits, he was going to regret teasing her so much in his current position but if he had to be honest, he rather enjoyed this kind of regret. Besides, it gave him plenty of things he could pay her back for either now or later.
Married Life
“Woke ya up? What, yer not sleepin’ enough?” He stuck out his tongue to show he was joking, only to be confused by her leaning over the table. When she kissed his nose, he laughed at the reversal, bopping hers with a finger as she sat back down. “Careful Meo’ Con, ya could’ve knocked over all the food.”
Not that she truthfully would have. No Xiao for the most part was filled with grace, like that of her nickname. She could tiptoe through a tree and not have single leaf fall, that’s what they would say back in the swamp. Too bad she always felt shy about dancing, he bet she would be good at it if she loosened up. But it was fun the rare times he would sweep her into a dance, even if she turned various shades of red.
Even her little daydreams were cute, though admittedly, he was doing plenty enough of it himself. It was funny, their day off together, and both too busy thinking. Well, thinking and watching. There were sides to Xiao that was only shown when she was unaware of the world around her, when her own mind provided all the entertainment she needed. He swore there was times when he could actually see her writing her music in her head. And now, he was off daydreaming too, when he had just teased her about it.
As he realized the irony, he shook his head, both to shake himself out of his thoughts and to laugh at it himself, digging into his pastry. “Yanno, we both keep dreamin, and we’re gonna dream the whole day away, and ya won’t get to see where I want to open up.”
Xiao-Mao couldn’t help but giggle, reaching forward and taking hold of his hands as dainty fingers ran gingerly over those familiar scars. He was right, and it was just like she was thinking; they were spending much too much time in their own thoughts! But could either help it? Nearly everything they loved to do was based off of a daydream, a thought, so breaking the habit -no matter what the reason- was indeed quite difficult.
Still, she flashed him a smile and a flustered tinge of pink painted those porcelain pale cheeks. “I can’t help it! I keep thinking of how great it is to be able to spend this time with you, and every time I think about you my mind just goes into such a tizzy, Yeo-Bo!” That, too, was true, and despite the blush the ravenette was glad to tell him such a thing. After all, it was thanks to Hai that the bride ended up dazing off whenever she was home alone. Who else but him could fill her thoughts so easily, make fantasy into reality whence he came back home and -at his leave- be the catalyst for even more fantasies to be dreamed?
But it wasn’t just herself daydreaming that made her flush such a shade. No, seeing the way the mechanic’s deliciously deviant features softened to that of a true daydreamer, inventing and planning all in his mind as his expression turned into absolutely, irresistibly, and the definite epitome of handsome, of charming. If she were a princess then Hai would more than definitely be her knight in shining armor.
Taking a sip of her tea she contemplated that for a moment before settling it down, looking to her plate and his to notice that their food was -more or less- untouched save for perhaps one or two bites. “Ne, ne, how about we just finish our tea and then take our food to go~?
“I don’t spoil ya enough.”
Her teasing and playfulness made him smile back, much more warmly then even he would have expected, and a hand curled once more in the dark tresses as she kissed him. He broke it off quickly, his own sigh showing how he hated to do that, but if he didn’t, then they would be staying right where they were. And as tempting as that idea was to the young man, it wasn’t going to satisfy his crime.
“C’mon, I promised ya a night out. And I’m gonna make sure it’s a good one.” With a grin, he stood finally, helping her up, his hand reaching up behind her back to nudge her towards their room. “I’m even dressin’ up.” Where he was going to take her, he wasn’t sure, but it would be fancy. Still, once they were at the door to the bedroom, he kissed her once more, before turning to go pick up the pictures, putting them on the table. The one with the pink pants laid on top, as he came back into the bedroom, frowning as he looked for the one suit he had in there.
“Yanno I love ya.”
Ah, there we go~! The sight of his smile made the sablette smile even more, glad to see the old Hai coming back again. Seeing him so down was worrisome, and it struck a large pang of guilt against the young woman’s heart. If she hadn’t found those photos then he wouldn’t be feeling so guilty… Her curiosity just had to get the best of her at the worst times, didn’t it? No matter, though; that would be experience for the future, and getting up to make her way to getting ready Xiao-Mao bent over momentarily to place another kiss to his forehead; a place that on most occasions she would never be able to reach. “I’ll be right back, then~”
But it seemed that she didn’t need to go all that quickly, seeing that Hai had come into the room in the middle of her changing session. Clad in nothing but her bindings and panties the earthbender looked back to him, holding her best cheongsam against herself as if covering up some place that had never been seen by him before -which, of course, was something to say considering what they’d done with one another. His kiss made her smile, and placing the dress neatly onto the bed the much smaller girl turned and pulled him into an embrace from behind; quite a sight considering her being more than a foot shorter than he. “And I love you too, Yeo-Bo~… You know, though, you really do look good in those pink pants… I don’t think I’d mind seeing you in them again, minus the shirt~”
She couldn’t help but tease him, to be the minx he would say she was during their more… Intimate times. Perhaps it would help to cheer him up, too?
“Enjoyin’ bein’ able to do that, huh?” He couldn’t help but chuckle as she kissed his forehead, the teasing soft almost as if afraid to hurt her once more with his words. The grin lingered as she walked off to start changing and he to pick up the pictures.
If she was feeling guilty over the pictures, then so was he. In fact, he was ashamed of his actions and if he was a different sort of man, that flask of vine whiskey would be in his hand, not the cabinet. Still, it was easy enough to nudge such feelings aside when she smiled up at him, the pretty cheongsam briefly covering her pale skin before being laid aside. Seeing her smile so easily at him now, when he had scared her so out by the front door weakened the cage of guilt.
As did her arms wrapping around him, letting out a laugh as her head pressed into his back, hands coming down to rest on top of her more dainty ones. The words she had to say surprised him, and he had to bite back the first answer that came to mind, reminding himself to smile. Still, he couldn’t help his disbelief and he turned as much as he could to face her, eyebrow raised. “Yer not serious, are ya? They’re pink.” He shook his head, turning back to glance at his closet, and pulling out the one good suit he had with a quiet cheer. “Told ya I was dressin’ up!”
“I’m completely serious, Yeo-Bo!” Despite the little laugh she gave, Xiao-Mao was truly and sincerely honest about what she’d said. Hopefully that tint of pink on her cheeks was enough to show it! Spirits above, the ravenette didn’t have to think very hard about how good Hai looked; when she heard from her sources -and learned for herself thanks to the local papers and magazines- that he’d been a model for a short bit of time… Dear Tui and La did he make anything and everything look good.
And yes, that was exactly how she meant it; anything and everything, he made look good. Not the other way around. From the only good suit he owned to the casual pants, boots, and optional oil and grease-stained shirt, this man in front of her could make even a paper bag look good. That was a conclusion that the songstress didn’t at all need to second-guess herself on.
Oh, and don’t even get her started on his body itself; the well sculpted arms from lifting heavy car parts to the washboard abs to just ever so slightly below at his… Spirits, her face was ready to burst into flames, she felt! And it must have shown, considering that by the time Xiao-Mao came to the young woman realized that she was breathing quite unevenly and the heat on her cheeks surely turned into quite a blush of some sort. Looking to the techbender and just imagining him in the suit, she gave a cheer and began to unbutton her own cheongsam. “Spirits, Qin-Ai, dressed up or not you’d look absolutely mouthwate- I-I mean stunning, any day~!”
Smooth one, Xiao-Mao. Very smooth, you dork.
He couldn’t help but shake his head, laughing as he did so. “If ya say so, darlin’. I think yer a bit silly, but hey, guess I can’t complain.” With that he turned his back to her, moving to strip off his shirt, the suit lying down on the dresser. He was sorely tempted to turn around and watch Xiao change also but if he did that, well, there wasn’t going to be the night out that he was promising her.
So instead, he focused on changing, until he heard her from behind, and he turned. With her heart, he always was worried that she would have one of her attacks and thought so now. With her face flushed and her uneven breathing, it reminded him of that day when they met her mother. But even before he could take more then one step towards her, she spoke, and the worried frown shifted into that too familiar smirk. So, that flush was for something else, was it?
And of course, now that he knew he had nothing to worry about, he could fully appreciate her look, reminding him of those times he would tease her to that point and beyond. Between that and the knowledge that she had seen evidence of him far from his best, and a new plan formed in his mind, his fingers helping with her cheongsam. “Mouthwaterin’, huh? Funny, I can always say the same for ya.” That was her only warning before he claimed her mouth, pulling her tight against him, his fingers now wandering down her frame. Her skin was so soft under his callused fingers, almost enough to distract him from his new plan and it was with a groan that he pulled away from her, letting her go completely. “Be fun to stay and play but I did promise ya a night out, so finish up, alright darlin’?”
With a laugh, he turned away, grabbing the rest as his suit as he left the room. “So ya can focus on getting’ changed, not how mouthwaterin’ I am!”

It was a long shot, but the repairman was in need a little more work to help cover his rent and put groceries in the ice box, for the past week the only occupant in his fridge had been soy sauce and a very questionable take out box of what may or may not be fire noodles.
Scraps forgoes the front entrance of the mechanic shop, instead making his way to the garage entrance where he sees another man elbow deep in a clunker of a satomobile. “Hey, you got time to spare man?” He figured maybe he might need a hired hand for the day either as another mechanic or maybe the shop needed a few simple repairs. He could always hope anyways.
Hai was indeed elbow deep, a piece of candy in his mouth as he worked. The ‘clicking’ noise as described by the owner was a fairly simple fix, but it turned out to be far from the only problem. It had Hai muttering in swamptongue, his quiet tirade silenced by the man speaking up. He glanced up, nodding to him in answer. “Yeah, jus’ gimme a moment.”
He pulled away from the car, the grey towel turning only more grey as he attempted to wipe off the grease from his arms and he walked over to Scraps. “What’s up, what can I do for ya?”
Scaps smiled “I was wondering if you needed a paid hand, I’m good as a mechanic or I can fix stuff around the shop if you need?” This was always the awkward part of getting work, trying to sell is skill for yuans. The nonbender made most of him money off of regular customers, but with his landlord hiking up prices this month it wasn’t enough.
He tapped his toolbox that now sat on the ground before him with the toe of his shoe. “I got my own tools and I do quality work.” He offered. Realizing he hasn’t propperly introduced himself he held out his hand “Name’s Bae, by the way.”
He grinned back without thinking, the trials of the car engine pushed aside for now and he leaned against the garage door as the man spoke. It was tricky what the man asked, since Hai didn’t own the place where he worked and the boss was tempermental at times. But he too could remember when he was trying to figure out the whole rent situation and came out short at times. If he could help another soul from that experience then so be it.
Besides, Bae, as the man said his name was, seemed to be prepared. One glance down to the toolbox, one more back inside, and he made his decision. “How about this, ya help me finish with this car and if ya do good I’ll talk to the boss for ya and we’ll split the payment on the car job, deal? The name’s Hai by the way.”

“Well, actually, the swamp is here…kind of speakin’. Me and Hai’s family are visitin’ up from the swamp, so ya’ll get a chance to meet them if ya want! Greyfaces, please be kind alright?”
(So, yeah, if you guys want to talk to Lieu and Hai’s parents or the youngest Huu child, this week is all about them. Just drop a message in the inbox and one of them will answer. The only one who will give a ‘gif’ response is Thao, the brother, since I’ve already said Kyuhyun would be the face claim. But feel free to ask!
Also, as I’m not sure with how slow I am with roleplay I can actually play it out, but I will try to write out some drabbles and fics for the holiday spirits and I’ll roleplay in askbox form. I’m really sorry guys, but real life is real life.)
