Something a little different for the weekend… Pyrex! I don’t have any myself (and don’t plan to since our kitchen is tiny) but my mom and my grandma both have had them, so they’re definitely nostalgic for me. Because of the nostalgia factor, I decided to focus more on the composition/colors of the piece, and on painting primarily from memory, as opposed to getting every little detail exactly right.

From my personal collection. Pyrex “Floral Bubbles” 1970, is the only Pyrex my mother-in-law owned. Me: Can I have that dish, you probably never use it? Her: I use that all the time. Me: I’m taking it. I love my mother-in-law!
