NYC City Proof

I received a sample of NYC’s City Proof eyeshadow crayon in Wall Street Bronze from a sampling company. At first I believed it to be a lip crayon, so I used it on my lips. The color was a bit odd on my lips, but it actually felt rather nice. Next I used it on my eyelids without primer and it stayed for around three hours. The color was nice with my green eyes, as well. Over all I’d say this is a great product for the price.

Sally Hanson Airbrush Legs

I received a free sample of Sally Hanson's Airbrush Legs from a sampling company. I have no use for makeup on my legs, but after reading a review of it online I realized I could use it for other body parts as well. I received a terribly awkward sunburn a few weeks ago and the tan lines are obvious on my upper back. I used this product to cover them up and it blended perfectly with the rest of my ski, didn’t wash off easily in water and didn’t completely rub off on my clothes.

Blossom VoxBox Review

Alirght, I’m finally writing this. I received the Blossom Voxbox from Influenster, free to sample and review about a month ago. I really liked this box. I found the NYC eye crayon to be just okay. The Sally Hanson Airbrush Makeup for Legs is more useful to cover up tan lines in my experience - I wish I knew about this before my sister’s wedding! The Australian Gold sunscreen is brilliant, my favorite sunscreen so far. The Beanitos chips are delicious, there is no getting around that. I enjoyed both flavors. The Live Bear Naked granola was pretty decent. I still am not that big of a granola fan, but both flavors were good. The Nasoya Pasta Zero is delicious. I made both sesame noodles and a healthy vegan alfredo with it. The Hair Food shampoo smells very lovely, however I have very curly hair and do not like shampoos with sulfates in them. Lastly, I didn’t seem to receive the Equitance product that everyone else did. I cannot recall if it was either that or the Australian Gold sunscreen, but I believe so.

Australian Gold Sunscreen

 I'm 24 and I often forget about sunscreen, even though I live in Florida. I've been using this everyday for the past week on my neck, back and arms and I notice a difference even while I'm just driving. It has great protection, and my arms don't get hot and red in the sun any more. I don't particularly like it on my face, but I have makeup with SPF for that.

Bear Naked Granola

So I recently tried the Sea Salt Caramel Apple Granola. Granola is generally not my thing. I don’t like eating it alone, as a cereal, or even on yogurt. I find it to be extraneous, and I’m usually not interested. However, this stuff is different. It’s sweet, salty and caramel-y. Yes, that’s a thing now.

I ate it as a before bedtime treat, which was probably a bad idea, as I finish the whole treat in no time. It’s definitely delicious. If you are a non-granola fan, like myself, go ahead and give this stuff a try.

Nasoya Pasta Zero

I love sesame noodles, but I can’t justify eating that many calories on noodles alone. One serving can be upwards of 500 calories. I usually use soba noodles, and while delicious, they just have too many calories. So I decided to use these new Nasoya Pasta Zero noodles to make my usual sesame noodles.  They are from a Japanese yam, and the process to make them creates an almost calorie free noodle.

I soaked the noodles in water which I drained and refilled twice. That’s to get the slightly fishy smell out. Then I popped the noodles into a wok, added my green onions, sesame oil, soy sauce, ginger and some sugar. Just for fun I added seaweed to it and some sesame seeds. They came out looking perfect, with about two servings. 

Except these sesame noodles were so delicious I ended up eating the whole recipe, without feeling guilty. Nasoya’s new pasta zero noodles have maybe 10 calories for the whole bag. I’ve seen they have fettucine noodles and ziti ones. I’m ready to remake mac and cheese with these the next time I get some. These are worth the money and delicious.
