Torque never knew that aliens existed until he started serving with the Freedom Coalition, and then it seemed like all sorts of beings from other planets, dimensions, whatever else emerged. Some had good intentions for humanity. Others⊠not so much. Wherever it was that Kamalia came from, Torque was just thankful to be on the same side as him. He clearly possessed a unique ability to make people like him, and Torque knew this power could be utilized to great means if in the right hands â or ill will in the wrong ones.Â
After receiving intel about a potentially world-shaking medical breakthrough somewhere in the galaxy, Kam was the person for the job. Nobody else was as knowledgeable about the outer reaches as Kam was âexcept maybe Voyager, but they clearly didnât come from the same sort of planetsâ and something about the Violet Hex made Torque feel at ease. That was likely Kamâs power manifesting itself. That, and how easy on the eyes he was, with that handsome face and thick, muscular body that nearly rivaled his own⊠but Torque couldnât let himself fixate on that.
Heâd been in space and on other planets before, but being here with Kam, in such a beautiful place⊠it nearly took his breath away. No, wait, scratch that â it was literally taking his breath away. Thanks to some quick thinking, Torque regains composure (and the ability to breath) after a well-time kiss from Kamâs soft, pink lips on his own. Convenient way to use your powers, Torque thought to himself. Heâd certainly be using that memory to sustain himself in the long, cold nights ahead.Â
âRight, wellââ he begins, referring to coordinates given to him by the science team. They werenât exactly sure it would lead them in the right direction, but it was as good a guess as any. âThis way.â They begin walking, silently, taking in the lush sights around them, when Torque figures he should start some conversation to keep them occupied along the way. âYou know, Iâve never really asked you⊠you identify as a man now, correct? But you werenât always one? Do you miss the way you wereâŠ? If thatâs a lot to ask, you donât gotta answerââ
[ đ ] ⶠAS THEIR MET, KAM WAS ABLE TO SEE THE BRIEFEST OF MEMORIES from torqueâs life surrounding the people he loved. quick flashes of what would seemingly be random faces of family members, friends, and one half naked man in a locker room that was seemingly a former crush in the heroâs past. it wasnât a gift that the queen often shared, but that intimate moment unlocked some insight in the man they called their leader. kamalia would never fully understand the barriers that humans placed on how they loved and stigma attached on this planet for enjoying homosexual romantic relationships but it was a problem for many advocates, including torque. while kam could easily ease inhibitions and remove their negative thoughts around it, magiks wasnât the route to fix institutionalized and global homophobia.
violet hex made his way through the forest, following torque and the intel they received on the coordinates. once they arrived, itâd be easier to uproot the tree and take a few samples, but getting there would be the journey. even with the powers they possessed, it would take a scalpel not a sword when it came to precision. âunfortunately, the answer isnât as black and white, as humans like to put it. iâve much gotten use to this male form, it certainly isnât a bad one and in terms of endowment, i couldnât ask for one better.â kam could feel a sense a pride in that, knowing how the essence of the goddess could have been dropped in any other man but at least, tatum was gifted himself. that was another thing that was apparently too gauche to bring up casually: penis size. âbut overall, being a queen and goddess for centuries prior to this, it never really goes away, regardless of physical form. i miss my people, i miss some of my other powers, but thereâs no use in living in the past, just forging a new future.â
