this is really important and is a really great program that teaches skills to inmates and allows them to basically receive group therapy while they are simultaneously learning a craft

IT IS ALSO REALLY RADICAL BECAUSE IT BREAKS NOT ONLY THE STEREOTYPE THAT INMATES ARE INCAPABLE OF BEING DECENT HUMAN BEINGS WHO CAN TALK OUT THEIR ISSUES AND HEAL AND BE FUNCTIONING MEMBERS OF SOCIETY BUT IT ALSO SHOWS THAT TRADITIONALLY GENDERED HOBBIES LIKE KNITTING ARENT JUST “FOR WOMEN” AND ARE ENJOYABLE FOR EVERYONE.

I don’t see why I’ve never seen posts of her around. It was at this point that I began to realize that the Doctor was lonelier than I thought (and the rest of the seasons emphasize this greatly). He can barely have a fling without putting her in great danger. And what’s the painful about this scene for me is that the Doctor probably doesn’t think he was worth it. He showed us how he could pass the fans with his own powers, and so she didn’t need to die for his sake. But what’s the most painful is that he’ll never know if she was aware of the greater cause of if she was led by passion, if perhaps one smile, one gesture less could’ve been the thin line between her life and her sacrifice for the spark of love she had had for him. There’s a dissociation called derealization where the external world feels unreal or dream like. About 74% of the population have experienced it.  

I learned about dissociation in my abnormal psychology class, and it does occur pretty frequently. Dissociation, to put it in my own words, is like when you lose awareness of reality. You just pretty go into a trance or auto-pilot like state. 

My professor talked about how it occurs when you’re driving and you become so used to a particular road that you no longer really pay attention anymore. And such, sometimes, you have no idea how you got to where you were going. 

As for derealization, I’m actually not too familiar with the topic, but it seems to be a symptom of schizophrenia. If anyone knows more about this, they can message my inbox.

Here comes another entry to mutantlexi's Earth-9734! This one is actually the first of several illustrations for a story that's currently in progress albeit unnamed at the moment. The general premise is an expansion of an idea I played with in a short story of my own: what if New York Comic Con occurred on Earth-616?

Well for one, you’d have cosplayers and mutants mingling. In this case, it’s Kat McKee of K2 Steam in her Pin-Up Iron Man design with Aberration of Xavier’s Amazon Squad. Who’s she at NYCC? And who might the group run into next? Stay tuned to find out!
