thinking about rebecca letting ted know that she really could use one of his pep talks when she tried calling him after his panic attack

rebecca knows and understands ted better than anyone in the world. she was the only one who managed to see through him in a crowd full of people and on top of that knows him well enough to know that the best way to get through to him, get him to open up and reach out to her would be to ask him to do his favorite thing which is help someone else

just like she knew the best way to cheer him up on christmas would be to help other people
