we don’t talk nearly enough about rebecca’s reaction to ted revealing that he’s been baking the biscuits for her himself all along. knowing rebecca and how she’s been treated by people in the past this is 100% the nicest thing anyone has ever done for her in her whole life. the pure shock on her face and her having to swallow to clearly hold back tears is something that can be so very personal and i need at least 10 business days to recover every time i watch this scene

truly feel like this scene isn’t talked about enough like this man was really in a crowd full of people, being the complete center of attention, finally being included and celebrated by the team and his one priority, one concern and first instinct was still to look after her

there’s just something so very satisfying about watching a woman who’s been mistreated and spoken to like this by her toxic ex husband of twelve years

being hyped up and supported this wholeheartedly by her future himbo husband

thinking about how brendan and jason found every single actor for all the characters with ease except for rebecca but the second jason met hannah he knew she was rebecca and he’s said she literally was the rebecca he had imagined all along in his head

thinking about how the casting director at hannah and jason’s chemistry read told her she was a huge fan from her musicals and said that it was a shame that rebecca didn’t sing on the show and jason said “she does now” under his breath

thinking about hannah not hearing anything back after their chemistry read for an entire week but her holding onto hope because of what jason said about her singing

thinking about how the reason hannah didn’t hear anything that week was because jason had to fight the whole of apple tv to get her the role because they wanted a "big name” to be the lead actress and jason wanted her

thinking about how she’s literally an emmy winner now and she’ll probably win another one next year as well

thinking about how ted and rebecca met because of the exact same reason [adele voice] divorce, babe, divorce. rebecca would have never hired ted if it wasn’t for her being hurt about her divorce and ted would have never taken the job if he wasn’t hurt about his upcoming one

thinking about how both of their lives and world views were changed permanently the exact same day possibly at the exact same time because of time differences (jason sort of confirmed the latter by liking the theory on twitter) 

thinking about how ted’s marriage officially ended the day of rebecca’s wedding anniversary... something about signs something about destiny something about [adele voice] divorce, babe, divorce 

thinking about how every time ted breaks down rebecca is there for him. not even his best friend knew about his panic attacks and literally everyone fell for him being sick to his stomach the second time but rebecca saw through it all the way from the owner’s box while everyone else was staring at the game

thinking about rebecca subconsciously looking at the biscuits when ted asked if she has any food that makes her feel like home, ted noticing and him then making those same biscuits for her every single day even when he doesn’t have the mental energy to clean his house   

thinking about rebecca being so consumed by ted’s panic attack that she felt like she was having one herself (hannah’s exact words) and the way the show and hannah herself depicted it so well in the locker room scene. her being so overwhelmed by the light and the sounds of the players that she stumbled and almost fell

thinking about ted being depressed and alone on christmas, rebecca being the only one that realized this in the room with their colleagues/friends, her going to find him instead of going to an important party, the light coming in through his window, him looking through it and rebecca standing outside smiling like a real life angel

thinking about how ted was the first person to tell rebecca that she wasn’t alone when it came to her abusive ex. she’d been gaslit by the media and rupert himself since their divorce and made believe that her pain and suffering wasn’t valid and ted made her realize and understand that it was 

they’re always saving each other and i’m honestly losing my mind about it
