"The original concept for Peach came about through a humours quip from a friend during a conversation about me making new music. Knowing my proclivity for seeking influence from macabre reference points, he said 'can't you make something a bit lighter?' Interpreting this in my own way, I started exploring the darker sides of otherwise 'lighter' sources, for example cartoon violence, malfunctioning talking Elmo teddies, children purporting demonic possession, toy weapons etc. This idea is also referenced in the title, Peach being a rather pretty word, that juxtaposes the jarring sound of the project." -French Mount Ultra

Future Daughter - Transliteration

Future Daughter's main vision, and thus also the basis for Transliteration, is the investigation of terms like "organic" and "synthetic", "evanescent" and "eternal" - aiming to create an android "new organic" expression. Using human voice as a starting point for much of their music, one of their compositional strategies is for example to process it in such a way that any semantic meaning dissolves, leaving sharply cut structures of something only resembling «human». This strategy is especially inspired by the ecology of internet as of today, where man is the initiator behind most of its content only to find that the human essence evaporates in the digital categorization and interpretation of man. Their first full length release Transliteration presents eleven dream sequences produced by a defunct, somewhat sentient TripAdvisor web crawler gone rogue.

Stanciulescu, aka BLYPKEN, describes his music as “neurowave,” a sonic landscape in which “futuristic dimensions of the arthouse dance sound [reveal] a deconstructed blend of techno, industrial, ambient and a wide array of post-dance electronic dimensions with a cinematic edge.” “Hylemorph” is a near-16-minute long, one-track opus of sporadic, unpredictable, and beautifully challenging blasts of synthesized #postclub textures and alien-world moods. "'Hylemorph' is a Greek philosophy term comprising both matter (hyle) and form (morphe). It suggests the dual existence of compact structures and of their virtually infinite forms of becoming, in the same way our state of awareness is simultaneously self-regulated by consciousness as it is constantly shaped by the exposure to multiple forms of experience. Based on this, BLYPKEN's 'neurowave' sound design techniques and subsequently chaotic challenges of the fixed stylistic patterns were integrated in a personal post-musical environment, in order to express the hyper-s(t)imulated desire to enhance the consistency of perception within a self-consuming sense of nowness." -BLYPKEN
