Delicate winged water dance. 🌊🦋✨️
lotus flower.
9/13/19 // 11:13 PM
in and out, i see you trying to pick at my thorns. you collect each petal that has fallen off. by collecting each petal, you try to replace the damage that interrupted my blossoming. you water my roots daily by showing me colors i have never seen. the colors i have seen with you, do not compare to any other shade i have ever witnessed. the colors prosper by you watering my roots with soft smiles, hugs, and giggles. by showing me what true love is, how i should be held, treated, loved, and appreciated. soon enough, you replaced every petal and saw me blossom. you hand-crafted me from scraps and pieces of darkness and sadness, to petals of pure bliss. my world went from shades of black to shades of cool after you repaired my roots. but, my blossoming continues with you everyday. there’s no doubt in my mind i will eventually transition from these shades of the rainbow you showed me to a solid bright pink. you will keep watering my roots until you see me as the lotus flower you’ve always envisioned to fulfill your life. the bright future my roots feel from the grip of your hands know you’re determined on making that happen. thank you, thank you for letting me prosper and grow at ease. i never thought i would be able to see light ever again.
